All right. Welcome, everyone, I think I think we have 30 listening, that's enough to start, some
people are going to come in as we do this. We just want to start by saying, what I'll repeat what
Ruth said, before we started recording. We want to thank everyone who's actually here in a
timezone where they're essentially staying up and messing up their schedule. And we, we like,
literally know what that feels like on a tangible level, because we stayed up a little late last night,
more late than we should have. So we're tired cribs on that's literally splashing water on his face
right now. Literally, ice cold water. Yeah. And we frantically ate food before the call, because
we're just kind of run a little late on what we're doing. We have a, we first we're gonna start off
by going over a few things, we're gonna introduce the team, we'd like to keep this to about 40 to
60 minutes long. So just to give you an idea of how long that we're going to be here for. If you
ever need to, you know, you can't handle anymore, you're, you're ready to go to sleep, you're
too tired, we will have this recording, it will be on our telegram. And maybe we'll have a
YouTube channel or something like that for that as well. So don't worry about missing anything.
Any questions that you want to ask, you can put them in the AMA Questions section, I mean,
the channel just above this. And so your questions can still be answered, even if you have to
leave, essentially,
[Link] 1:30
in the coming days, we're also probably going to open up some more voice chats. So this won't
be the last engagement with her with her community, I think we're going to do a lot of these.
They won't necessarily be formal, Amy's. But we'll hang out with you guys. And you'll be able to
ask questions anytime.
Waldo 1:46
At the end of this where we're probably you know, going to be more casual, we'll move to a
channel, everyone can talk. And maybe we'll do something like a game together. We don't really
have a ton of ideas. If if it's a smaller group, it seems to be kind of small like this. Some of you
won't hang around, we can do something like scrib Leo type thing, because versions of it have
that larger lobbies. It's basically like Pictionary. So someone gets a word and they have to draw
it, everyone has to guess what it is. We can also go into like a slither io server with the last
kingdom name and everyone you pass will have the same name because those servers aren't
very big. So. So first off, be sure to write down any questions you have as you think of them,
because you might forget later as we discuss other things. So you can do that in the AMA
questions, chat, just put them there or, or in the textbox, this label notes for yourself.
[Link] 2:40
And feel free to raise your hands at any time as well. We'll take we'll keep an eye on that list.
And we'll we'll cut to questions where where it makes sense and try to answer them.
Waldo 2:50
We will start off with a good giveaway right away just because I know that a lot of you are eager
for that. And it's gonna be a good opportunity to get more people in this call that aren't aware
that it's happening right now. So if you have a Twitter account, go in at the last kingdom and say
that we're basically doing an AMA right now. And you can take a screenshot of this chat just to
show people what's going on. And that might get people coming in here as well to hear
something about the project that they've never maybe heard before and might not know exists.
So I just posted a screenshot. And announcements if you'd like to copy that screenshot, maybe
you're on your phone, it's not as convenient to do. And we will roll between giveaways between
people who, who basically tagged the last kingdom but also have the words ama call or ama in
their tweet. And then we'll do another giveaway at the end. And we'll just occasionally reward
people like while we're doing the talk, right? So some of the some of you guys can just do like
the giveaway command on them, give them a whitelist while we're chatting. Alright, so let's start
by introducing the team. We've, we've been working with each other since about October 2021,
we had a another project that we were going to do first. And funny enough, we were like, Let's
go, let's go do this one, to kind of get more experience with tinkering with this kind of thing. And
then because this one will be easier, we'll do the lost kingdom and then we'll come back to this
other one that's more complex. And very quickly, this became a significantly larger, a more
complex process than the other one. And now we're kind of committed to this and maybe
someday we'll return to the other thing you've seen. We won't say too much about the other
project, but you've seen you've seen pictures from it here and there. So if we showed it to you,
you'd recognize aspects of it.
[Link] 5:06
I think what did it for us as a loser King showed us his artwork and the lore that he had behind it
and explained his vision and, you know, brought us on board and told us, you know, this, this is
the universe he's creating, and how we'd like us to, to gamify this, and we jumped on board.
And this quickly snowballed into the project that you see today. So we're all excited, we're super
excited to work on this. And, and that's why, as Walt was telling you, that's why the other project
kind of took second place and is put on hold. Because this was a hell of a lot more exciting to us
right now.
Waldo 5:39
And as gamers ourselves, it became a lot easier to increase and modify the the mechanisms of
the game that we're working with here. And it's very easy to get excited about it. Because as a
gamer, when you first start to get into game development, you're like, Man, I, I've always wished
that people would do these things, and they never did it. And it's just like, why, why is no one
ever done this before? And now where we're at, we actually have the ability to start doing some
of those things.
[Link] 6:07
Yeah, we frequently challenge each other and try to think outside of the box and say, you know,
if we were playing the game, what would it be like? What would we want to see?
Waldo 6:18
Alright, so let's meet the team. First, we have loser King was the Kings, the artist, and he's done
almost all of the lore with this project. Most of the original imagination for this, the entire lost
kingdom was him, we wouldn't have any of the lore and the medieval aspect without him. He's
got phenomenal work ethic, and unattainable levels of excitement. He keeps us, he keeps us
moving when we're going slow, because his excitement is just like, you know, stat, ecstatic. And
loser King, is there something you want to say? We'll go to each person one by one, I guess.
[Link] 7:08
It sure. So. So you said that I was some kind of hyper hyper kid, but like, my voice is more calm
and grounded. So we have been working on the Lost Kingdom since the May last year, and I
have already picturing something like any project that could tell the story. So I've been
researching all the all the projects that have been on the blockchain, and I'm, I couldn't find any
NFT project that would that had a lot of data that we could connect to, or, or it's relevant to
today's society, because right now, what you see is one sided lore, where the good is good, and
the bad is bad. But that's not true. Because even somebody good for you, it might some that the
same person might be bad to somebody else, because everybody is motivated by their own
goals and vision. So people do things because of their own motivation or own goals, not
because it's bad, or evil, or, or good. So I was I was trying to recreate the word that is more
relevant to, to the human to the human world. And also, I'm a huge fan of RPGs and fantasy
games, used to play Skyrim. Bothers gate and Archein. And also the older oldest games, like
classic RPGs. And I, and I was craving for something like that, especially in NFT marketplace.
And I'm, and I, I'm responsible for the, for the artwork, I came up with the idea for lore, and
basically, I'm, I'm the guy who can come up with concepts and imagination and fantasy and
vision behind the project. And I'm really trying to do my best. Sometimes I never thought about,
I'm like, where's it going? Because I'm, I'm human, and I feel really lucky that I have the team
that I have, because without them it would be not possible to achieve things I always wanted to
achieve. Yeah, so thank you.
Waldo 9:48
Okay, so next we're going to introduce loser root. He's a highly talented programmer, and
probably the most practical and Round it among us, we, we, as kind of artists and community
and these other roles, sometimes it can be really hard to understand what really goes into being
a programmer. And that disconnect can sometimes have comedic moments where like, Wait,
why can't you just can't you just make this thing and like, a day it is or like, a few minutes? Like,
it's simple, right? And he's like, No, that's there's way more complex than that. And that, that
programmer aspect branches out into other parts of our team. And so he keeps us grounded,
and realistic. So root, is there anything you want to say?
[Link] 10:44
I just want to thank everyone for joining us today and, and for being part of our community. I'm
really excited to be part of this team. And, and as Waldo. let you guys know, it's it's a quite
interesting battle, I got lots of creative minds on this team, and they go in many different
directions and, and go from one day to the next, our scope of this project keeps changing, ever
gonna have this, we're gonna have that. And I have to come back and say, Well hold on by
adding this requires these five things. We're not we're changing this three things that we we
agreed on two days ago or whatnot. So it's an interesting dynamic that we have going on. But
I'm the one that makes things happen. I create. I guess I put things together the to give life to
the vision that Loser King and the rest of the team have for the lost kingdom world. And it's an
exciting place. Personally, as well, those saying I'm a developer have been developing for
many, many years, but been developing in the crypto space for just about a year now. Yeah,
just about a year, I started off, not just doing normal tokens, but NFT spaces is awesome.
learning quite a lot. And doing the front end development is been quite an eye opening opening
thing for me, had drinkin through the firehose, for sure. But as you guys can see, we take a lot
of pride in the work that we do, we launched our webpage after going through a number of
refactoring. wildoe can tell you about line gate, we have this long line on the webpage that we
fought over for hours trying to figure out what's going on in this line. But it was good time. Yeah,
so anyway, thanks for all for coming. I appreciate you being here. And we'll move on.
Waldo 12:29
So we should talk about Lion Gate because it's hilarious and it will come up eventually it's okay.
So that on the on the front page, just below the the original artwork for the header. With the elf
woman sitting on the rock, there's a green line below that image that I want to put in. And so
he's trying to put it in with code. And we were just kind of sleepy surprise. Maybe we weren't
maybe we're just really dumb. Maybe that's our more backpedaling, but we tried to put this
green line in for like an hour or two or something and every time we would put it it would move
somewhere else or something else would get messed up. And eventually he just goes real
quiet. Real real quiet. And he goes Can't you just put it in the image of me the graphic designer
I'm like, oh five so yeah, so that was devastating to our when when Loser King said we're
human that's a man did he really mean it to our were were subhuman okay and I'm Waldo I'm
the I do a lot of graphic design and community work while loser it's super power is that he's
basically Disney princess was computers. He could talk to machines and tell them what to do.
My my knack is for knowing what what I can't always make it but I know what looks good. And I
know when it's there and I know what people will think looks good. So usually I'm just that guy.
It's like move that five pixels to the left. No, no three pixels. All right, I go there you go perfect.
Have a good eye for what's even and what's you know, messed up and all that so oftentimes,
I'm the one on the Twitter account. Loser loser King is on the Twitter account with me as well.
And because you guys are on Discord you see me on the discord quite a bit as well. Like to do
light trolling. Just to keep the community fun and engaged. And we've been doing a lot of work
leading up to the am call ama call but after that we're going to we're probably gonna take a short
break to, you know, get our bearings again, but then then we'll be doing a lot more marketing
and then we're trying to do a lot of interviews and podcasts and stuff like that. And then we'll do
more community engagement, specifically with this discord and telegram. And, last we have last
but not least, we have crypto net. Crypto net is very, very hard working. And he he every time
that we mess up, he always comes through for us. He's the guy that we forget something and
he's sitting there right there. He's like, I already got it. You know, like we leave to go cave
exploring, and we don't have flashlights. And he's like, I have flashlights right here. So just now
he's the one that got this torch setup for us. So if you're watching on Twitch you that's that's
purely because of crypto and that we would have forgotten that for sure. He's a very good at.
We all have strengths, weaknesses that play off each other. And he fills all of those holes he
comes in and whenever we we are stuck with a task that's very specific to our role. For
example, the programmer is the only one that can program the graphic designers only like the
the graphic design the artist, the only one that can do the art. He comes in and we'll we'll be
able to do anything that we we can't prioritize because we're stuck doing a task that only we can
do. Because of our Nisha strengths and weaknesses. So kryptonite, is there anything you want
to say? Oh, you splash water on your face?
Crypt0net 16:23
Yeah, it was plus more water on my face. Yeah, ice cold water. We got a bunch of that. Yeah.
So first and foremost, yeah, just appreciate all of you coming in and listen to his own patch, all
the hype that you're doing in the in the community. That is that that's such a great foundation.
And it's a good thing to watch and, and be taken apart of here pretty soon, a little bit more to I've
kind of I've been working on a little bit of something. We might get into that a little bit here a little
a little later. But um, yeah, it'd be fun and bring a little bit of a goofy aspect of things. Because,
you know, I, I'm definitely a goofball out of the bunch. I have to get reined in sometimes. As far
as that goes. I definitely have to be watched. But I like to have fun. And then make sure that
whatever our objective is, is getting accomplished. I really, really look forward to, to seeing how
the community enjoys this game because of Yeah, the talent that that's here with, with Waldo
and root and loser King. It's just, it's very, very talent packed. And I'm just honored to be a part
of that and enjoy being part of it and part of the team. And I'm going to enjoy being part of the
community as it grows more. And we all get entangled into this game some more. I think that's
going to be a very exciting thing. There's a lot of lot of stuff that's just going to be going on and
yeah, just it's gonna be fun. That's That's to say the least. And yeah, that's, that's about all I
have to say.
Waldo 18:02
When he says that he's a goofy Dejan the other day when someone was spamming the bean
memes, the bags being pictures, he was he really wanted to join in, you know, like, when
someone's breaking the rules. He's like, Oh, man, I really sucks. I'm on the team right now. So
tempted to, you know, to, to join in on the mess. So, I will also finish up this team introduction
before we move on with kind of things we have in common. We, we were put together by a
mysterious figure that I don't think we're that we're going to be introducing, but somebody that
essentially is kind of big in the crypto space. A lot of influence and especially on telegram they,
they hand picked each of us after getting to know us individually for quite a long time with
various instances of trust and watching our, our weaknesses and our strengths, and handpicked
US based on how our strengths and weaknesses put together. So I've we are quote unquote,
the Avengers. This this person is our Nick Fury. And they chose us based on a number of
factors but namely that we have high integrity and that we are we're very big on not having zero
days. So if you're not familiar with that concept, it's every day you you do something nothing, no
day is ever wasted. You're always stepping forward and making some sort of progress.
Because a lot of people look at a mountain they see 14,000 foot and they go I'm not going to
climb that or that's too far away. But some people know that they realize that if you just take a
few steps every day, eventually you're at the top. So we were very big on taking, you know, a
few steps every day, even if even if we're completely burnt out, we didn't get any sleep or
anything. Well, we've all come from completely unique experiences with, with larger projects
and communities, sometimes unrelated to crypto, that's each given us a lot of unique
experiences. Especially with drama and well I met sounds bad, I just mean the typical
community stuff, you know, and marketing Puranas. And all that we, we we've, we've gone
through the ropes. This is this is, although this is our first kind of crypto project, this is nothing
new for us. It all feels very familiar. Community Management feels very familiar, and so does
production and team team. Collaboration. We are, we're all very pro privacy, if at any time it
comes down to, we have two options. And one of the options means that our users have their
privacy protected, or avoiding KYC, we will always choose that option. We we we would offer
our followers the same thing we'd want for ourselves. And lastly, we are very organized and we
communicate with each other. Every day, we're always communicating. So between you know,
you messaged one of us, you're kind of messaging all of us. So I think that we can move on
from the team introductions. Looks like we have 51 people listening now. That's great. So you
people doing the Twitter giveaway are actually bringing people in we thank you for that.
Welcome to anyone that's new. We are so sorry if it's like 4am your time. All right, we thank you
for showing up. Okay, so I guess we'll start by talking about kind of general aspects of the
project. We're making this game for ourselves. I mean, we were making it for everyone. But it's
a game that we actually want to play, right. And we're going to design it in a way that's going to
make us want to play it because we have a lot of experience through a different different eras
and different consoles in different games. I don't think like we've played some of the same
games, right. But for the most part, we've played completely different games, like when we talk
about games, we're bringing in knowledge and aspects for how other game developers solve
challenges that they were faced with. And between our wide diversity of gameplay,
it really does make it pretty easy for us when we're, when we're, we're doing game theory. And,
you know, because we, we are gamers ourselves, we don't play games as much anymore. But
we definitely put in our, our time, over the years. And, and as a result of this, we've we've, we
know to avoid a lot of the traps that game developers get in because we've seen them do it
ourselves. We've seen games struggle to have original ideas. And, and we were willing to put in
the elbow grease, and we have put in the elbow agrees to do our best to make our game as
unique as we can. There will always be limitations. But the basic foundation for the mechanisms
of our game is we believe is is incredibly unique. And it gets us more excited than anything else.
We think that you're really going to, to love what we have. And as we continue to speak, we're
going to appall, we're, we're just going to have to apologize in advance for how vague we're
going to be with some of these game mechanics because we're very aware that the Hills Have
Eyes. There's a lot of competitors that are out here listening, ready to take anything that we're
putting out and they can maybe build some of these things faster than we can. So we want to
tell you more than you want to hear it but we we have to bite our tongues on some of these
things and remain vague as we continue through but but we have a we have some things that
we can tell you about that we're we're sure you'll you'll be very excited about and we'll get to
those in a bit. So someone asked us earlier what makes our game unique. For starters, Lor
loser Can you talk more about this, but I don't think there's I haven't seen any other game doing
anything like this with Laura And in the Phantom space, I think we're one of the only games in
the Phantom space really pushing in this direction at all. But I was,
[Link] 25:10
um, I might comment on the, um, some people just, well, well, the law, the law is and well, the
law is like, something that people can engage with. So it's, it's crucial to any role playing game
and, like, the question is, how can you play an open game without the people or it's like, it's like,
um, it's just not engaging, engaging enough and
Waldo 25:44
surface surface level without the the Lord
[Link] 25:47
Yeah, right. And what what do you see now and right now we what do we already have? It's
already way, way ahead of any NFT project I've seen on Phantom. And, and that's not, that's
not all, because there are legendary, unique weapons, incoming. Each of them has unique lore
and description, there are more like dozens of monsters coming to they are unique zones,
descriptions, and what kind of culture politics basically what makes the word alive, alive. So so if
you if you, for example, go on any journey Dungeon and Dragons or Forgotten Realms, we
keep area, you could expect something like that in this this year, like some something huge,
huge is lower than that the UV reading like, or weak?
Waldo 26:53
Did someone didn't someone tweets, this is the project that has the best lore and Phantom. And
we aren't even on it. Right? No one else that didn't know, or do we find that sweet?
[Link] 27:05
All right. So I didn't want to like, I thought that's what I wanted to say in the beginning. That's
why my, my my tongue will start because I didn't want to, like, sounds like I'm bad mouthing
somebody else. But it's just basically funny. There was there was an art competition, like
nominations for top five, pro NFT projects with the best floor. And we were even manually we
were, we were not even like nominated. And, and then like, top five projects that won that that
award were like, had like, three sentences of war, like only one explanation on the front page. I
was like, Okay,
Waldo 27:47
we're gonna, we're gonna find it in a reply with a GIF, that's probably gonna do. Well, let's see.
Oh, I think we should just move on to the next part. So we just want to say we're really excited
about the project. Were very big on transparency. And, and we're comfortable being unique.
Just as we were saying earlier, we are. We will take ideas, little bits from here and there from
from other games that we've seen be very successful over the years. But we're, we're content
knowing that we don't have to do the same thing as everyone else. We came face to face with
this a few days ago, tokenomics, we were fully prepared to write down tokenomics and use the
word burning all and everything just because everyone else has done it. But then we started to
realize we're if we mentioned our tokenomics, we're saying too much about game mechanics
that we don't want, we're not prepared for to tell people about and, and as much as we want to
excite everyone, by telling you like kind of what's coming, half of the thing should take you by
surprise, a good project is going to surprise you by 50% of what they release. And so as much
as we're kind of, you know, we're getting excited about this and that and we're keeping
everyone engaged and peeking everyone's interest. As we grow our community organically.
Some of the things are going to take you by surprise. So if you catch us, biting our tongue and
being vague, just know that we're trading some of your excitement now, which would be like a
level I like a 70% excitement or 40% or something for 100% later on because you're getting
surprised by it. Imagine waking up in the morning and you're like, you're you're just you know
the games there are something or you're seeing something yourself with your own eyes. We
don't need to tell you what to be excited about. You either get excited about it or not. Um, do
you guys want to talk about whitelist? Now? Okay, so, um, as we go through this call, have you
guys been giving away any whitelist? Here, we should do, we should do a little bit of that while
we're talking. Look at bar commands, no people are checking, let's start handing out some
whitelist periodically, as we talked about whitelist you guys could do that. Okay, so the, if you
are whitelisted, you will be buying for 30 Phantom instead of 40 Phantom. So right off the bat,
you get a 20 Phantom discount over over anybody else you will, you will be, of course able to
purchase the NF T's earlier than anyone else. And early mentors will be able to stake earlier. So
the sooner you get your NFT, the sooner you're going to be able to stake. So this is probably
one of the most significant perks about being whitelisted. And, and there will also be a multiplier
with staking early. So the earlier you stake you have a higher multiplier. And we're not going to
say much about this, we're just going to kind of let you see it as it comes. But we think you're
going to be very excited about this multiplayer. It's very nice multiplier.
[Link] 31:34
And right. And let's say let's say that we split the multiplayer into into different different parts. So
it's, it's timely. And let's say you have you are the wireless people can mean first two days, and
that multiplier is already running from the third day one. And for the for the two days, you will be
able to stake and, and you actually it's it's basically a game changer if you if you if you take this
opportunity, opportunity. Right. Right, wait. So that's what I wanted to say.
[Link] 32:17
So what we're trying to do is create something that is beneficial for our early supporters. Right.
So we recognize that, you know, it takes quite a while for us to build the game. And you guys
are all excited about it as we are. Right. So while we're minting now, and the game might be a
ways away, this is something that our community can do, and accumulate something that'll help
you in the future.
Waldo 32:41
And, yeah, so early, early stakers, we'll make more tokens as a simple way of saying it, and how
can you stake if you don't have an NF t, you can have an NF T earlier if you're whitelisted. So
these are the these are the main primary benefits to whitelisting. Lastly, we will be closing
menting After set a set amount of days, you will get more updates on that soon. But menting will
will not remain open for maybe as long as you're picturing. So, um, you you have some
breathing room, you know, it's not it's not like you frantically you know, it's a short window. But
you know, but it is limited menting Will will close. Um,
[Link] 33:37
yeah. That or if like me if it sells out. That's the other possibility. Right? Because it's a limited
supply. So
Waldo 33:48
So, uh, let me see real quick, was the other thing. Oh, yeah, we should we should probably
begin to address the collectors. I think this is very important.
[Link] 33:58
Yes, yeah. And then let's talk about game. Yep, yes.
Waldo 34:02
Okay. So a lot of collectors are coming to us. And they're, they're asking us questions that
shows. It leaks their expectations for the project. They're thinking of our NF T's as the same as
any other NF T. They're looking at our our minting process, and they're thinking, Okay, I'm going
to buy a bunch of these NF T's. And I'm going to hold on to them. And I'm going to do the same
thing I've done with all these other NF T's. The thing is, is those NF T's are not really tied to
things the way that ours are. So are our NF T's. We can't just put out like 50 of them as much as
you'd like to a very limited supply. We just put out a few of them. And that's it. Because these
are the login to the game. You cannot play the game without the NFT. So as much as collectors
are thinking that's they're looking at this with the same perspective as they've treated Other NFT
projects, it's not really the same, because we can't cap how many people play our game, we will
of course, kind of lock the gate for a bit and then open the gate and lock the gate, we will be
very moderate. And we will, we will continue to have more people that kind of want to get in then
can get in at any given moment. So there will still be, there will still be incentives for collectors,
but you have to realize that, that we can't, like just stop selling access to the game. There will be
like moments periodically throughout at certain points when, when we when we, when we need
more players for the game. But that growth will be very slow and kind of organic. And, you
know, we're not going to just put in 1000 People like instantly or something, it's just going to be
like, you know, here's a few years a few very periodically.
[Link] 35:55
Right? And then you you might have a questions. So what's what what will happen to the value
of my NFP? Well, let's say you you buy, you mean the NFP for 30 Phantom, and then you
would like to trade it off on on secondary marketplace. So let's paint swap. Then Then if we if
we, if we mean more that it means that it will devaluate you right now, but because we have a
we had a quick solution for that is that we will, we will protect you by looking at the floor price of
that NFT that is right now trading, and we will the next batch of benefit will be sent at the price of
the floor price on the secondary marketplace. So you don't have to worry about like we are the
active, devalue a devaluation, devalue it or NFT or something.
Waldo 36:55
Yeah, so So um, we are very mindful of collectors through this process. But you have to realize
that the the, the rewards incentives are while there is some aspect of that to the NF T's most of
it is tied to the staking and the game itself. A lot of the NF T's that collectors are really wanting
are in the game. And they will be they will be earned through playing the game. So you can get
rare weapons and items that give perks that that not only do they look beautiful, and there's only
10 of them or something ever, then there will also be players that want those because it's very
significant to their gameplay, right. So some someone's got their niche aspect on this aspect of
this part of the game. And if they get this certain item, it makes their gameplay more powerful,
right. And so they're they're going to want those. They're going to want to barter with you.
They're going to want to trade with you. And they will offer a variety of things that have
significant value to players in return for that as well. And, man, I really, I really want to talk about
the thing that we can't talk. Yeah, but But it's great. It's I get, I get excited every time we think
about it.
[Link] 38:24
Let's talk about the game related topics.
Waldo 38:28
Do you wait, I do want to talk about minting first. I know a lot of people are very eager to talk
about minting. And that's kind of short.
[Link] 38:37
Yeah, if there's something specific you want to address to minting I think what you talked about
it not being a traditional collection is really important. Do you want to ask her questions? Or was
there something else you wanted to go over?
Waldo 38:47
I you know what, let's answer. This is so important that I think we should answer questions on
this because we don't want we don't want people to kind of forget questions that they might ask
or something. So let's see. I can't I can't even see the the event anymore window.
[Link] 39:06
I don't know. That's okay. Nobody else around. So if you guys have any questions, please raise
your hands. We'll open your mics he can talk to us. Well, there's one. That was too
Waldo 39:16
nice. Awesome. All right, just just see someone.
[Link] 39:20
Okay, first one in Ivan, Ivan. See if that works. Invite to speak. You got to accept the invite.
There we go. Should be open. Go ahead ask your question.
[Link] 40:36
Well, we are we are allies. That's what we are. We are We are close friends we know each
other since since the Phantom was to 20 cents and I have been working with with with people
from paint swab from Reaper ecologist since well, on various projects I'm if somebody doesn't
know I'm, I'm the creator, artist, creator of bear berries for pensoft collection. And I also made
art for to finance I have been into finance since the day seven when nobody nobody knew about
on finance. So basically we have we have a kind of relationship not romantic or achieve this
together. And if you know uh, you know, babies, the babies are read from Reaper, he's very
conservative guy. And if he says that something is high quality, it's it's high quality, because
because he doesn't show any projects. So I hope hopefully, that answered your question. Yes.
[Link] 41:59
we got three more questions out
Waldo 42:00
let's do another one. But um, well, we'll open this up to very general ama but for now, these
these questions are about specifically about kind of the collectors aspect. Collectors mindset
with with our NF T's.
[Link] 42:20
Okay, one draws to one last.
[Link] 42:22
Okay. disqualify everybody?
[Link] 42:27
We're gonna invite Mineko. hopefully I'm pronouncing that properly.
[Link] 42:31
Okay.
[Link] 42:32
One question.
Waldo 42:35
All right, you've been? Yep. What does it look like on the other end is someone could
screenshot that. If you when you get accepted next time to screenshot what it looks like? I don't
think I've ever seen it. Why can't I just go on to the audience? And you invited me recently? Oh,
yes. Oh,
[Link] 42:54
no. So I sent the invite Mineko, you have to accept it. If not, we can save the question for later.
Waldo 43:07
Also, we have the we if you really can't figure it out. There's the AMA questions. You could just
type it right. And we can answer there.
[Link] 43:14
Yeah, type it in the in the discord. Ah, looks like we got
Waldo 43:17
quite a bit here. Hmm. So so we can go through these later, as well. Try not to try to have too
many conversations in there for now so that we can see the questions. Maybe. Maybe the
questions can be in like code snippets or something so they stand out more?
[Link] 43:38
Right. Let's move on, I think.
[Link] 43:40
Yeah, I think we're having trouble there with the question. So we'll move on.
Waldo 43:44
Alright, then let's talk about let's talk about minting a lot. A lot of people might have questions
about minting as well. So mainly, what our progress is and how far we're coming along. I know
that a lot of the technical stuff is pretty boring to a lot of people. But if you even have at least just
a layman's perspective of kind of what where we are at on that.
[Link] 44:09
Oh, you're asking me? Yeah. Okay. Um, so smart contracts are are completed for the NF T's.
Those are done. They're tested there. They're working, we created the page for minting done a
lot of testing and styling of that page. So we're really happy with what that's looking like. And by
all aspects, we were ready to start creating the the image assets and all that kind of stuff and
ready to go. But we circle back as we, as we usually do and say you know, it'd be great if we
gave the community this and that this in this case is the staking. We wanted to incorporate the
staking and everything that comes along with that. So we're very much focused on creating a
page for the staking how that how's that gonna work, the mechanics of that. So when you get
your NFT How do you go through with doing the staking? How do you get informed on how
that's going? And, and, and all that. So we're making good progress on that. But we're still. And
as I posted in some of the announcements, we're still about two weeks, maybe three weeks
away, we want to be as transparent as possible, we'll keep letting you know how that's going.
But at the same time, since we do take a lot of pride in the work that we do, we want to release
a product that's polished. Right? So that's where we're at.
Waldo 45:25
All right. Great, then let's, I think now we should we can talk about the game now. There's the
kings. Alright, I'm very excited about the game.
[Link] 45:34
Okay. When I'm excited. Alright, so. So let's, let's talk about the in game tokens, alright. We call
it gold. And I will tell you, it's, it's, they are very important, because when you see with NFT
projects right now is that they come with NFT coloration, and then they come up with tokens. It's
like anything plus tokens. But we are like, we have the project that is like that in game currency,
the end game tokens is going to be absolutely crucial to the game. And it's like, super, super
important to the game. And without it, you can only experience it for it. Yeah, it wouldn't be very
fun. So we focus on we focus on all our energy onto these making this in game tokens, crucial
aspect of the game. And that's important because any any successful game five project or any
NFP, that is game fi meets a lot of deflationary mechanisms in transaction burning. So we need,
we need to have a lot of ways how to burn the index again. So we keep the value or make it
make it profitable. Basically increasing in value over time. That's, that's why we came up with
such great mechanisms that I have never seen in a game fi yet. And I don't want to I don't want
to talk about it. Because I'm about to say, we might be smart and innovative. But some people
might have much more power and resources. So you can make the make it for first. Yeah, so
but but
Waldo 47:13
you're given an idea. And then like it was your first but then they make it first technically their
first.
[Link] 47:19
Yeah. So I be giving idea. And they just don't even they don't even give us a credit. And and it's
I have to praise it a lot because that that's that game mechanics that we came up with, with
incorporate incorporated with the game to accounts and how you play the game with the in
game tokens is such such a great way how to how to actually make money from the game five,
because because, because right now it's like, user starts. And now he's like, looking for ways to
dump dump the tokens as fast as possible before everybody does. So that's not that's not game
five. Let's just keep going. Okay, so since as I mentioned, yeah, we burn burn gold a lot. Maybe.
[Link] 48:16
We also want to create a game that you're playing the game and earning your tokens not
playing the game to earn the tokens, there's a big difference in that, and we strongly believe that
we want you to be immersed in the game and enjoy what you're doing. You're not sitting there
grinding to get something out of it. Let's talk the idea.
Waldo 48:36
Also, um, there's this weird thing with game fi with crypto, where in the gaming world, nobody
wants, like excessive empty acts and pay to win, right? Everyone's trying to escape that and
they're clinging to any nostalgic games that avoid this aspect. But then in game fi, it's like, like,
how do we incorporate tokens and NF T's and, and basically, like Mt X is kind of things
microtransactions and into like a game to make crypto into a game. Right? And they're they're
two very conflicting things, aren't they? So we're, we're, we were trying to to make a game that
does tie into crypto and very clever and unique ways. But that doesn't have this, like real mom's
credit card warrior pay to win aspects there. There will be moments where if if you wish to use
crypto to maybe like appeal to other players in a cosmetic way or something that sure you can
do that. But but it's a it's a we're keeping the the urn and advance in the game kind of separated
in a unique way. We don't want some whale to come I'm in and they're instantly the best in the
game, and the game is no fun anymore. Because that's not a good game is it? Yeah. So this,
there's little things like that, that, that we have to think about as we make the game. But, you
know, basically, we just keep coming back to the the fact that we want to play this game and we
want it to be fun. It's not really fun if if you can just buy levels, buy your way to the end of the
game and whatnot. So we, we have a big focus on making it something that we'd actually want
to play, and community engagement, the social aspects of the gameplay are very important part
of that for us, we want the people and the discord with you and your neighbors in the game, to
feel closer to you, we want you to be able to barter and to negotiate into fact them and, and just
like we said, on the discord that the dirty pennies mechanism. There will be things like that, and
there will be you will be able to do things with friends and make friends and connect to them and
unique ways that from what we have as a foundation and things that we've written down. We
know from our own experience with games that other games haven't done before. Especially
not in the way that that I mean, there are some things that have been done but but not in the
way that we're doing it. So and the dirty Penny mechanism I'll explain real quick. If you're a jerk,
and you're just going around being an asshole to everyone, you you get resistance everywhere
you go, even if it's just so minute. So as to be like when you are mean to someone at the fast
food checkout line. And then you get to the you get to the window or whatever the drive thru and
then you get to the window, they will give you the dirtiest pennies in a cash register. That's the
dirty Penny mechanism or whatever. So if you're going around being a jerk, everyone's they if
they have a choice, they're going to give you the the worst option. And we have, we will have
very kind of softer mechanisms where it doesn't it's not massively disruptive. But if someone's a
jerk to all the players around them, the players can kind of give them dirty pennies. of sorts. So
we're we're excited about things like that, because as gamers, it's something we've always kind
of wanted, but at the same time, you can give people shiny pennies, right? There are aspects
where you can kind of like, boost and help and like, you know, reward in some ways the players
around you, in a way that doesn't like vastly affect you as an as an individual player. But, but not
so like, you know, no cost and everyone's doing it to everyone all the time because we're the
most wholesome community ever. Right? And we learned one
[Link] 53:09
thing. One thing about what I said about being good and evil, so So what are you like, what is
the game? You know, now you play the game, you have to choose to heal and you have to say
the word like what do I want to burn, like burn everything to heal, or I don't want to say the word
and I just want to do whatever I want. So, how about we give that give that possibly to every
every player, you do what you want. Like, you become a hero or you become a villain. You can
you can help people or you can you can hurt people? Like why why why should you believe
me? They just be just doing good things? Because because that's that's more fun. Contrast.
[Link] 53:58
Yeah, it's part of role playing, you're choosing your path. So,
Waldo 54:07
loser Kane is very big on bringing a Game of Thrones kind of aspect to the game is that
something that you wanted to talk about?
[Link] 54:20
Right. So, so, I partially understand why Game of Thrones was such a huge success. And it was
because every, every character had own own back backstory and own motivation for doing
things they did. And it kind of makes me mates makes sense made sense. together like if you if
you look at the things from one angle, then Yes, it might look bad, but if you look it from behind,
it might look actually, it actually might look better than the so. So the life is, like, about
perception, but how you see things. And I really hate things that are one sided. Like you, like I
played, now I have to play a game. So I have to play here and save everybody. Like, why why
should I do that? Can I just, like, be neutral, or just do whatever I like. So I, I really like the
Game of Thrones cast because like, the, I want to show that the world like his crew, like
sometimes it's it can be cruel. It's not always rainbows. And it's not, it's not always about being
good. And because there's also bad things happening. And I want to show that the combination
of those two can actually make pleasurable play gameplay experience for you for everybody.
And i and b people just joking, like sadistic things. But yeah, that's true. But you know, it's kind
of Morgan tax,
Waldo 56:22
it feels more real,
[Link] 56:23
and more complex. It's more, it's real, more relevant for you, right? Because right now you just
go outside people just screaming and fighting each other. And now you're like, sitting in front of
a computer and you play like, My Little Pony.
Waldo 56:37
Yeah. Yeah. And they force your path. They
[Link] 56:42
Yeah, they force you basically, society force you to be good. And to force you to basically create
the image of a good citizen, and you have to follow that you have to help all people go across
the across the street, you have to follow all the rules, you have to be paying taxes all the time.
And, you know, you cannot like you have to let people sit at the bus, in the bus. All the all the,
like elderly people and something, you know, all these kind of things that are nice. But doesn't it
get annoying? Like, oh, like some overtime? Like, have you ever asked yourself? Like, is this
really me? Or is this some kind of persona that I'm just following? Because everybody said it's
good.
[Link] 57:39
We have a question from the audience.
Waldo 57:42
Yeah. Oh, let's answer. Harry, right. He go ahead, Harry. I like Grand Theft Auto, where, you
know, you can go around and cause chaos and light things on fire and kill people. And then
there's yeah, there's some like 20 year old that's just stopping and all the red lights in the game.
And just like monkey around like, like, they're, you know, they're not a part of the chaos.
[Link] 58:07
Second Life. Go ahead, Harry, you have a question?
[Link] 59:12
we will have special uniquely crafted and things for one of the groups. So let's say if you're
doing good things, you only good guy will have access to this specific entity. And you are doing
bad things and only bad guys will be access to this specific NFT. So you're both both groups are
equally rewarded. And we might we might try and read the cosmetics first because it doesn't
influence how powerful you are in the game. But later on we might experience experience with
with the kind of things that might influence the game.
Waldo 59:59
So So my answer is that the game has a lot of choice based gameplay. So you might be
choosing a, you might be choosing good and bad, but it's, it's like a different layer from a lot.
Man, it's really hard to answer this Hold on, let me think. So, uh, okay, so the choices you make
will kind of send you in directions that kind of veer away from other players sometimes and into
kind of subgroups. So let's say I'll give an example I gave earlier in general shot, if you cut and
like offline, if you cut trees all the time, people would call you like a lumberjack, right? If you
work on cars a lot, you would be considered mechanic in the game, there will be things where
where you will kind of be more shifted towards a certain role that like ideologically, people will
will view you as kind of the subgroup based on your talents and the choices you've made, you
can do, you can break out of that group and do a lot of the things but some of your choices do
push you in a direction where if you decide to change your direction, midstream, you've kind of
set yourself back. And players will veer themselves in these direct different directions where
they will begin to play off of each other and in different ways, which are you need someone from
another subgroup to help you with something, there are aspects like that, that are very important
and good and evil will kind of play into these things. But just more in a societal kind of way. Like
there will be aspects where as you do bad things, you get bad, you know, badges and
achievements and things like that. And, and those can be flexed if you choose to and things like
that. But for the most part, it's just kind of gonna be like, good people will just go on doing good
things, and bad people go on doing bad things. And the bad people don't really disrupt people
all that much. Not in a way that's going to make it really unfun. Like, there's massive griefing as
much as we have talked about Game of Thrones, and we'll continue to do that. Generally
speaking, you can't just go over and kill another player and they lose all their NF T's. There's
nothing like that. And the good people when they go to help, it's not like they're being the they're
so helpful. That's, it's, you know, an exact contrast to how bad you don't want people to be bad
people can be like, good. There's, there's kind of like, it's controlled in a bit of a way and we can
change the the controls parameters when we need to, if we see that too much of something is
happening. We're We're big on saving as much analytical data as possible. So we can see this
many things have been done on this aspect. And we can look at the data and we can talk with
the players will be very close to the community. The only other game that I've seen that's, that's
really like, this close with my own personal experience to the community is kind of old school
Runescape they have a very intimate connection with their community, despite their size. And
because we're kind of a smaller indie thing. We will have an intimate relationship with our
players, through and through. Cool.
[Link] [Link]
So hopefully that answered your question, Harry.
[Link] [Link]
Okay, thanks for joining us. All right. Yeah. We had another question. I invited
Waldo [Link]
him to speak in case he wants to Oh, perfect. Okay, let's move on. So, um, alright, so when we
start out the game, everyone's going to be kind of in the same boat, right. And you can, you can
like weigh your directions. And you can, you can go I don't know, I'm thinking about going this
way. But it looks like a lot of players are going to do that a lot of players are discussing that so
much more rewarding for me to go this way where they kind of need me, there's gonna be a lot
of that decision making the beginning. And I mean, I say that but the game might be a little more
MVP in the beginning, most minimal viable products because you can't do everything. When
you're a small team, you can't do everything as much as we want to start with a finished
product, we might have to start with something more kind of simple. And we just kind of build
and build and it gets more complex as we go. And a few years after the game it's got much
more features that weren't previously there Right. So I will invite ROI K and or Y K has a
question seems so let's invite him to speak. And then eventually we'll start going through the
text here.
[Link] [Link]
Yeah, we also got color gray to go ahead. Okay.
Waldo [Link]
We're gonna look at the Unity Type engines, but it's probably going to be like more minimalistic
and design like a browser type game with kind of like an online board game where you have
kind of some text based interactions, like, I don't know, like a Neopets type thing, maybe, you
know, but, but with an actual game map that you can interact with, and you can move a
character around and stuff like that. Roger. So, I mean, we'll see, we have to kind of weigh
what's practical as much as we want to do make every individual asset and blender in this crazy
stuff, we might have to do more simple kind of, to the kind of clever, artsy, you know, we'll do
something like that. Maybe I'll lose the game. Do you have anything you want out on that? As
well, let's just start with you.
[Link] [Link]
If I was just gonna say we're definitely hitting the 2d path for MVP. We're not going unity. I know
a lot of people would love to see another first person three dimensional kind of you're in the
game should look and feel but as well though, so this is very much more like a board game map
scroller immersive world. But it's a there won't be a year in the game kind of can go ahead,
Loser King
[Link] [Link]
will be describing to you when you can expect something like multiplayer will, like multiple real
time RPG, so in like immunity, like, like the text based on like, it will be more visual with a
maybe directed map and choices. That would be our MVP.
[Link] [Link]
Yeah, definitely massive multiplayer online role playing game with sliding map. And multiplayer
interactions real time is what we're going for. So we want the players to play together and to
interact, interact together. But it will be very much a browser based game. And we're planning
on making it desktop only. So we're not playing it on your mobile phone as much as we'd love
for it to be played on a phone. But the screen is just too small to put everything that we want on
there. So it'll more than likely be a browser based desktop UI.
Waldo [Link]
Alright, thank you for your question. Awesome, thanks. Okay, let's call on color gray, because
he had his color and their hand up earlier.
[Link] [Link]
Hello, hello. Hello. Basically, I, I have a similar question to her a. Basically, I want to ask, like,
how in depth will the game be like can you interact with other players and how far? For
example, like there is choice of being good or evil? Like can you be evil? And like, could
someone for example kill or like, like some sort of PvP?
Waldo [Link]
We haven't really looked much into PvP.
[Link] [Link]
We have talked about it, but I don't know if we're ready to, to speak to that in depth, but we've
definitely talked about it. And as Waldo touched on, we're concerned about the griefing. We
don't want people going around killing everyone just because they were there first. And so we
have to find a good balance. But we do want player interactions and it will come in the form of
good and evil as we touched on earlier. So PvP is something we're thinking about, but we have
to do it correctly. So don't ruin the game experience for everyone.
Waldo [Link]
Also, it's, it's in the start of the game, everyone's kind of going to be distracted anyways, PvP is
not something that would be ideal because everyone's trying to weigh choices and kind of adapt
and learn and everyone's kind of got you know, kind of more basic weapons and some people
might not even have weapons maybe. And so that's kind of later as NF T's get added and some
people might have weapons that other people don't that are more unique and maybe more Opie
and so that it's kind of it's kind of tricky to balance a game like this. And I don't know we have
thought about more of a team work thing where it's you and other people against the game,
more of more of a focus like there's events or mobs or something and dungeons and you can do
that with people and that way you would want a more powerful person on your team.
[Link] [Link]
So way I've seen other games implement PvP is by having zones that are PvP I named And
that works well for some, the issue is that players that don't want to be in PvP zones will just
stay away. And those players that do enjoy it will end up with an empty area to to enjoy
themselves in. So you have to find the balance.
Waldo [Link]
Yeah, it's very, it's, that's one of the things I've seen games have, like really struggle with, it's
very, very easy to mess that up as a game developer more than probably any other thing in the
game. Because a lot of games, they'll make a very dangerous area, and you can attack people
in it, and they make that more high reward, but then all kinds of crazy things happen, groups will
like lock it down, so no one else can get in. And they are the only ones to get the rewards, and
then all kinds of things like that. Or if everyone has too much value, and the risk is too high, it's
like, no one wants to go in there, or people that don't have anything go in there. And then if you
go in there, they don't have anything worth taking or so, um, yeah, it's, um, it's more likely that a
lot of the dangerous factors, you know, there's dangerous areas, but it's gonna be interactions
with the game. So you know that if you go in there, you're gonna get slapped if you're a low
level. And so whoever is a higher level first is going to be one of the people that can go in there
and start to get more rare NF T's before anyone else. So there's incentive to rapidly improve
yourself in the game. And there's things that tie into that, that you guys can earn that we're not
going to speak to yet.
[Link] [Link]
Okay, I have, like, Thank you for the answer. I have two side questions about if you said about
the debt, like that the pennies and shiny pennies. Can I ask like, are they going going to be like
the same value or what? What purpose? Do they have like shiny pennies and pennies in you?
Waldo [Link]
Okay, so picture basically, as you play the game, you will earn the ability to to interact with
another player in a more positive or negative way. Kind of like a consumable is one of the main
things we're thinking about. So they're they're restricted by the amount of consumables, but you
can you can be you kind of interact with things, ish with these consumables that will that can be
seen as good or bad by other players.
[Link] [Link]
Yeah, but I think if you're you're seeing it as a token and maybe a little bit misleading. I think it
was more of a figure of speech, the dirty Penny shiny Penny, yeah, hit the wall. That didn't
actually mean a token called Dirty penny or shiny Penny.
Waldo [Link]
Yeah, I didn't. It's more than that, that get misinterpreted like that. Yep.
[Link] [Link]
Thank you. And last question. Are in the discord channel, that is like the random events? Like,
for example, the the volcano erupts? And like, putting the whole forest or something present?
And does that, like have an impact for? For the players? Like?
Waldo [Link]
Yes, so there's individual, individual events with, with random events. So as you go through the
game, as an individual, you have your own unique experiences with that. And some of them can
define your progress. So if you get really unlucky in certain ways, it could kind of set you back.
Whereas other players can maybe get ones that can put them a little bit forward, there's kind of
a life gets in the way and muck things up. Just kind of aspect to it. But then there's going to be
like, I guess you the best way you can think of it in terms of the way the other games do. It is
maybe more of like a seasonal event. So randomly, it will be like, Hey, watch out, like, there's,
you know, troops may be invading on the land or something. And it could just kind of really
mess. Everyone has to kind of begin to focus on this new thing now, because it just happened.
You know, like, we didn't, we didn't want a monsoon to come and we just wanted to just hang
out and chill and explore but because of launch soon is coming now everyone has to focus on
this because it's a bigger priority. There will be things like that, where the game as a whole will
probably be coming together to figure out how to solve a problem or to focus on some sort of big
seasonal type event like that. Or it might change things thematic wise thematically, it might
change things for all players. Okay, thank you for the answer. Yeah, thank you for your
question. And now we're going to call on Battle ace because he's been about all these has had
their hand raised for quite a while. So you got to accept and While we're waiting, we will talk
about shops, something that people might have questions for when you start out the game,
there will be essentially basic tools, where I got to tell you all of the tools, you've seen some of
them, and the gift book. And so a lot of the focus on early game is going to be on these tools,
and maybe how they affect your gameplay and what your strategy might be. Okay, battle ace,
do you have a question?
Waldo [Link]
I'll give a very short answer, and then pass it off to someone else. But it's very hard to write. It's
very, it can be difficult to write lore sometimes. But it's, it's easy to have lore that stand alone,
and then the game does doesn't really feel like it connects, we're gonna really try to put forward
an effort to connect the lore into the game. So it's very intertwined. As much as we can, loser
King may be able to talk more about this no,
[Link] [Link]
I'm sorry, I have been giving out the why response. Alright, um, so um, you he was actually beat
the question,
Waldo [Link]
she was asking about how lore ties into the game. Is it heavily intertwined with the game? And
how much as a player? Do you really interact with the lore? individually?
[Link] [Link]
Right, so um, you, you definitely could have experienced with Genesis characters, generation
zero, they are 5252 unique lore, characters that, that have their own backstory. And you might
ask yourself, what is special about them? And what how is their story related to the, to the world
we are building? So the answer is, you might or you might not have special events that are just
related to that specific character. And that ever might be more or less significant to all the
players. And what I'm building with, with the law here is that everything we write about is is
going to have influence on the on the on the gameplay, and we will be updating the Word and
the Word will be developing over time. And basically, everything you read, will be sooner or later
in the game. Sounds like everything? Sorry, go ahead. No, you get you go ahead with
[Link] [Link]
Right? It's, it's like 50 5050 It's like that we need we need Lord we need we need the events that
are happening without the influence of players. But we also need space for for for players to
influence the world they are playing it. So we might first when we start it might be 5050 Where
we we basically choose the direction of of the war development and how it goes for some
specific time. And then but later on, we want to shift that into like 7030 or 8020. So we earned it
community, like the community build and choose the direction of the world. How is it how it will
progress for on so you play us will ultimately have a big impact on what's going to happen in the
lost kingdom.
Waldo [Link]
I think I think I can add some insight here. So um, there's a there's a lore character Kai gar and
he and predict the future but only if it's bad. You might see you might interact with a character
and he's like some jerk just told me my dog was gonna die or something and you know that it's
that character, you might also be able to see certain characters like for lay McClair, she's
basically guarding a well in the middle of the desert, no one knows why you might be able to go
up to her and, you know, get get your password via because you're trying to, like talk to her or
something. Right? And, or maybe you find someone's house like they're a traveler, it's it says,
you know, Are you a friend of my daughter has been traveling like, and you know that which
character it is, right? You know, that's where they live now. Because the Lord tells says What
village they're from, there will be aspects like that, and the characters, the lore will be more and
more intertwined. As we go, some of these Genesis characters will cross each other's paths,
maybe not quite meeting, but you know, that something, they sold someone something and one
of the other characters bought it from the shop that they sold it from things like that. And as we,
as we go on, the lore will be crafted by our community, you guys will make contributions to the
lore that will actually be added into the game. And we will have Lor will have a Wikipedia where
you can add suggestions to lore and the community can maybe vote on it, things like that will
happen and the law will eventually begin to be more or less and less out of our hands. And until
we get an idea of who's really good at doing what they're doing and isn't gonna be a troll with it
and and stuff. And then they you will, we will have like a Lore team, essentially, members of the
community that really love doing that, and people who really love enjoying what they make, or
love reading and enjoy what they make.
Waldo [Link]
things like that will happen. But also, there's, we've all seen it, we've all seen artists that that
hyper fixated on the lore like, and they they know that that's not how that goes. And that's, that's
a disconnect in the lore. And that's there's in continuity, like they know all that. And so, so why
would any team tried to keep track of that when they should be focusing on the game, like, the
lore is an aspect of it, and we can have these people that we can communicate with, but you're
never gonna, you're never going to do better than a community that's hyper obsessed with the
the lore, you can't compete with that on any level, you will always mess up. But these people
will tell you like, like, an author will write a book, like, I don't know, like the, I can't think of I, for
whatever reason, I thought of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, it doesn't really do that,
though. Be these people will write these, these massive books filled with all these characters in
the lore in the background, like Tolkien type books. And at a certain point, when they're writing,
they literally have a like, on a forum of all of their people that are obsessed with the books and
the lore, they have to refer to them and be like, does this character actually do this? And they
go, no, like, because they know better than the author. And that's, that's always that way after a
certain point that the community will always know more than the Creator after a certain point,
and complexity. So we're aware of that, we know that we know that you guys are gonna know
the Lord better than us at a certain point. And so you're, you're essentially going to help us at a
certain point. Until we know it is good, and then then you will do it.
Waldo [Link]
Yeah. Well, thank you very quietly, because you allowed us to talk about lore, and that was
something we we did need to talk more about. Okay, so we can do it. We can open up to
questions. But I think before we do that, we should probably talk about land ownership.
[Link] [Link]
Yeah, how heavy we talked about shops and, and random islands and land and resources, like
something that
[Link] [Link]
you started talking about shops, and then we took a question.
Waldo [Link]
Yeah, we, we, we don't need to talk too much about shops. That's something we want people to
have excitement with. But there are different types of shops, we'll just say that. Like there, there
are some things that you can access at all times, regardless of where you are. And there are
some things that you can only get, maybe you run into like kind of a like a Traveling Merchant
type thing and it's you you'll might never see them again, and they sell things or you see you're
faced with an option where you go Dang, like I'm probably never gonna see this again. Should I
buy this They're not going to because you know, it's Ray we're going to
[Link] [Link]
make, right we're going to make an event where it's like trolling merch and here to chasing when
you have like one hour to find him, and he's gonna sell a rare mutation and that will be only one
time and yeah, one one hour to find it.
Waldo [Link]
Yeah. And you know that if someone has that then they're they're the ones that found the merge
conflicts I found this rare thing and I managed to pull it off and boom. You don't
[Link] [Link]
people you want people to flex people like, Hey, do my red hair, you know you don't?
Waldo [Link]
Yeah. So we we also want to talk about what let's talk about landownership collecting resources
and game interface. And then let's just open up to questions. Is that something that sounds
good for you guys?
[Link] [Link]
Yeah, we got a bunch of questions in discord as well. So we should circle back close.
Waldo [Link]
Alright, let's start to speed up this part so that we can go through the amas? And where we
need to be more concise. And we'll do one question per person. Yeah, as we go through that.
So does anyone want to lead with talking about landownership?
[Link] [Link]
I can start in zero, it might help me. Okay.
[Link] [Link]
I'll jump in where I can. Right.
[Link] [Link]
So the landownership is basically gaming. So for more passive players, that are more like kind
of used to field farming and staking so like, check, one 1/3. One spare time. So there'll be land
ownership and you and the mechanics is surrounding, like, around this, like, you have the
landlord, and we want to make it worthwhile for you to being landlord. And in the land
management is kind of own job. And it's, it's specifically targeted to people who, let's say Have,
have a job, full time job or family or, or traveling around around the world, the planet. And they
just don't have too much time to just actively sit at the computer and play and collecting fees,
right? So we want to make this passive, we call it passive play. rewarding, but also not very time
consuming. So yeah, so that that's what I can say about the life management.
[Link] [Link]
Yeah, I agree. I don't, I don't think we want to divulge too much. But it is absolutely a way to play
the game without having to spend a great deal of time, it's an alternative way to play the game.
And maybe it won't have the same benefits as actually exploring the world and doing everything
that the regular gameplay does. But it'll have its rewards that are are beneficial for people that
want to play possibly.
Waldo [Link]
We see a lot of projects, they do something like land, and it's just lazy. It's just, it's just
disgustingly lazy, right, they don't put an ounce of creativity or effort into it. And we have aspects
with the land that are fun by itself, and we think you're really going to enjoy them. This is
something we're going to be vague about. But your we will say that you're definitely gonna want
land, you're definitely gonna want to K tokens as well. Those are two things that, that we know
the players are really going to do, I'm going to want, because we have an idea of what what
you're going to look forward to. What was the other thing that we need to bring up
[Link] [Link]
events and resources?
Waldo [Link]
Okay, well, we'll talk about collecting resources. So you will be able to kind of harvest materials
as you go around the game. And you can use these to kind of craft things among other game
mechanics that we can't speak about. But, um, we think that you're, you'll, you'll be excited
about this. And as you progress through the game, eventually, you will be able to kind of make
things that other people can't make. And in some things might be your you might be the only
one that can make something because of a certain thing that you did. And so you're you are
going to be able to have access to NF T's as a result of that, that no one else will have access
to. And that might be very useful for another player or several other players or a large part of the
community might really want to get their hands on that. So again, I mean, how you play the
game is going to kind of direct like what kind of rewards and what kind of experience you have
choices you make and then some of its RNG some things you you might get really lucky with
Right? Like you buy an NF T and you get you get the really rare one or something is something
that a lot of other projects too, but most of that for us is in the game. We do however have a
rarity as like aspects to the NF T's that we are about to start minting sometime soon, maybe
three weeks or less, some of those assets are more rare than others, some are more common.
So there is there still some things like that with the NF T, but there's a lot of resource collection
and crafting type mechanics in the game. It's actually a big part of the game in some ways.
[Link] [Link]
By having that rarity traits within the NFT itself, it caters to the larger community as a whole, not
everyone's going to understand. Or maybe they want however, they wouldn't have heard our
AMA and understand how our collection works. So they're going to treat it as a traditional
collection. And they're going to look at the NF T's and look at okay, what what are the most
rarest traits on here? And which ones do I want to get and which ones I'm looking for on paid
swap? Right, they're just going to do that traditional stuff. So by aligning without a little bit, it's
going to allow those type of individuals to do their NFT tradings and do what they want to do.
Unfortunately, they'll miss out on playing the games, and you guys will, you guys are in early,
you understand what the game brings, and you're going to benefit by, by playing the game with
your NF T's. And not looking at the NF Ts, such as something that you just want to swap on, on
our third party marketplace.
Waldo [Link]
You all are very early. And that's something that you should be excited about. A lot of these
people later in the game that you've been around, you know what's going on, you've gotten
things and you've got a lead that they're they're nowhere near, it's gonna take them a long time
to catch up to you, it's gonna allow you to have advantages over these players that come later
on once the hype builds, and the community gets bigger, and they're gonna want to, they're
gonna want to jump in on what you guys built. Because they're gonna see it and you're going to
talk about and you're gonna get excited, and you're going to talk about your accomplishments,
and they're gonna want to have accomplishments like that as well. Lastly, let's let's just be real
quick on the game interface. There's something you want to talk about just what we're doing
with that, and then we'll move on to amas.
[Link] [Link]
I think we already touched on this a little bit. So we're not making a 3d immersed world where
you're playing first person shooters or anything like that, it's we're making more of a board game
style game, you see, it's an immersive map, where you can see what's going on your character
will be moving on your scheme, it'll be a browser based a game, there'll be other players playing
in real time with you. You're going to have the graphics at the top with your, with your map,
where you where you want to go. There'll be information on where you currently are and who's
around. And then other things that we will divulge in due time and and we'll we'll show you as
we build the game, you know where where vision goes. And and when we have stuff to share?
Well, we'll absolutely put that stuff on Discord. But it's important for people to know the style of
game that we're creating. I know, you can get lost in the lore and you start imagining, yeah, I'm
gonna go in and play Skyrim and or whatever your favorite MMO is, right? And it's not we're not
building that, especially for MVP, right. But we do want to play a game that we would enjoy
playing and that we know you guys will enjoy playing as well.
Waldo [Link]
Okay, um, let's have some hands raised. And we'll answer any questions you have about
anything that we've asked so far, general niche, whatever. And then we will go through the
questions section. So we'll I will answer if hands raised, we'll, we'll invite you in and we'll talk
and then we'll answer some of the text ones. And we'll go back and forth as we do that. So if
anyone raise their hand right now, you will get you will get in and you can ask us a question. All
right. While we're I don't see any hand raises. So I'm just going to go to the AMA questions.
Scroll way up. Man, you guys have been chatting. Okay, so will we be able to control gender
and race for the mint? Huh? You will be able to, you'll be able to choose something? Do you
guys want to be less vague? It's up to you. I don't think it matters that much.
[Link] [Link]
I think it's important to say there won't be character customizations for the mint. There's going to
be a lot of aspects that you do not have control over. But there will be one choice to make at
mounting time.
Waldo [Link]
Yeah, and you might, so some of you have put like 31 Phantom in. You might put, consider
putting 62 in or something because you might if you're whitelisted that's a cheaper price of 30
instead of 40. Apparently earlier I said that it was a discount of 20 Phantom I think a brain fart I
actually meant 10 as but but you might, you might want a little bit enough to buy two or you
know something, you can buy as many as you want when you meant but you might want you
know multiple choices or whatever.
[Link] [Link]
To go up one question because I think there was one before the one Yeah,
Waldo [Link]
Tina's Okay, so can you speak to the rarity structure of this batch of NF T's and the difference in
rarity with regards to staking them.
[Link] [Link]
So I kind of touched on that earlier, there are different traits to the NF T's. So traditional NF T
collections do have traits and they have different rarities to them. We're working on that right
now let's try to figure out the waiting for each of them. So there will be some better in a
traditional sense more rare than others with respect to the NF T's themselves. And any
difference within rarity with respect to staking them. I think it's safe to say that I don't think the
rarity is going to play a role in staking, as we've already described, the the importance of on the
staking side is when you start staking. That's, that's what we can tell you who've already looked
we've already explained that.
Waldo [Link]
And if you have a Genesis, you're going to get more rewards. Are we doing that with staking?
[Link] [Link]
We have talked about that. Yeah. But we need to revisit that we wanted to do something for the
early supporters. So anybody who's holding a Genesis token today, we want it to do something
for them. So we do have that still on our list of of to do's Okay, for minting gifts,
Waldo [Link]
yeah, the Genesis players will get rewards, they will be more rewards for the same amount of
actions as as other people. There's only 52 people that will have access to that and less than
that, because we have six that are held kind of for giveaways and stuff. Is it like six or eight or
something, and some of them will be actually given away in the game. So maybe you're in a
dungeon and you pick up a Genesis character you meet them or something like that. What's the
mechanism and right now the floor price of those is 10,000. So by the time the game's out like
that could be a major thing that you discover in the game. What's the mechanism y'all came up
with to address repeated gas fees while playing? We we will not answer this but we have solved
that problem.
[Link] [Link]
We have something unique that we don't want to disclose right now.
Waldo [Link]
It's not a problem loot. Loot an economy will the game have more of an emphasis on slaying
monsters and completing quests like Diablo Elder Scrolls? To earn loot and progress in the
game are more trading and gathering and crafting based like Runescape and new world? Well,
the answer is more towards rune scape. Later in the game, it could be more towards Diablo and
Elder Scrolls. But that's that's as you can see, even by our roadmap on the website, that's more
of a later thing. So at the start, picture, lots of trading, gathering crafting and then as we add
more and more layers to it, it becomes more and more complex and becomes more like more
like Elder Scrolls and stuff. All right, tell us three big features last kingdom has that makes the
game unique and my outperform other NFT crypto games in popularity slash player base. Uh,
we, I mean, we discussed so many of these already. But let's try and recap. Let's do it, we have,
first we have lore. And that's something that other projects aren't doing. Second is we're very
level headed about how this kind of crypto and TX aspect affects the game. And we're not very
greedy. So a lot of these projects is really kind of losing greed in these ways that really, like tear
down the structure of the game. Whereas if they just cared a little bit more about the game than
the profits, then they would they would make something more enjoyable. But between us we're
not really like very money, grubby, we care more about forming great relationships and having a
good community and structure. So um, I think that makes us unique from what I've seen. There
are a few other projects that are kind of like this, but but there's so there's so many, like kind of
can shakers, and like scammy people out there that that it begins to put more of a negative lens
in front of us with a lot of these crypto projects, because there's so many kind of bad people
running about does anyone have something for the the maybe a third feature, something that
makes us unique? I think it's that main thing that we can't talk about, isn't it? That's that's, that's
a huge thing. For me, it's
[Link] [Link]
the massive multiplayer angle that we want to take with that unique thing that we can't talk
about. But I'm really looking forward to the player interactions of the communities interacting
through the game.
Waldo [Link]
Yeah, we're seeing a lot of kind of Habbo Hotel type games or like Club Penguin or just kind of
wallowing around the bad character or just not really having much of a game there, there's
chatting. We like to, you know, not be that simple. So we have lots of between the between the
four of us, we are like, our discussions for the foundation of like game mechanics is like really
creative. I mean, I've been in a lot of creative conversations, and I just haven't had sparks like
this. And very many of them like we are a, we will really be up at 4am our time, just completely
random, just saying things and we're like, oh, my, that's amazing. Write that down. And we'll just
do that until it's like, you know, 8am or something, or, like, we talked for like, six, eight hours,
and we're like, wow, okay, we like really need to go to sleep. But the later we get for whatever
reason, we can channel more amazing ideas. Some of the best ideas or projects have come
from like, like, essentially sleepwalking, the person is not really awake. And they're great, very,
very, very exciting ideas. How will the game economy work? Well, the sinks be enough to stop,
stop hyperinflation, we we have complete control over over this the way that we kind of
designed it, we'll see how it, how it begins to happen and later stages. And we have we have
analytics that we can refer to and we can have players submit feedback and stuff. But as, as we
the way that we've designed it, especially with very kind of the main foundational mechanics of
the game that we can't talk about, because it's the most crucial that it stays a secret until the
game gets launched. This mechanic is, uh, has complete control over economy aspect. So we
can we can tweak the, you know, the the we can stop hyperinflation quite easily through a
number of methods. Is there anything that you guys want to add to that?
[Link] [Link]
No, I think you said it. Great. Do we miss a question before that?
Waldo [Link]
is baked beans. Oh, yeah. No, we don't we ignore him. No, I'm just kidding. Ah, okay. And one
of the hidden features of lost kingdom, the game files suggest an exclusive Easter. Oh, he's
trolling an exclusive easter egg quest room containing stacks upon stacks of beans with piles of
baked beans, and it can serve any quest for the last sauce nearby on an ancient plaque. What
are the loot rewards with this and why more beings? Says baked beans sir question mark.
[Link] [Link]
That's great. Okay. Let's move on.
Waldo [Link]
No, I It's funny because I skipped it. Subconsciously. I did not read it. I just knew that it was a
troll. And then you made me go back and I read it. That's hilarious.
[Link] [Link]
I didn't read it. I honestly just saw that there was a question
Waldo [Link]
there. I just subconsciously skipped it. I didn't even know it was not like surface level
consciousness
[Link] [Link]
will have been in the game somewhere.
Waldo [Link]
We'll put beings it's happened now we now have like in, we have a lot of inside jokes with our
team. One of the main ones is like we'll just say, like docs, like someone says something like,
super mundane. And we're like, yeah, you just docks yourself. Like, you know, I'm gonna go
make a pizza. And we're like, Docs, like there's only one pizza in your area. If the AMA channel
is locked, how can she slap? What
[Link] [Link]
I picked? That was right at seven when we were starting. Oh,
Waldo [Link]
yeah, it is. Yeah. So yeah, we had the channel ama channel locked for like the first two minutes
because we didn't realize that no one is able to get in. Because we're done should have been
able to realize the first 10 seconds that people will be waiting to join in. What's the utility of the
NF T's originally staking and the staking earns ut okay tokens and the T Okay, tokens will be
converted to something that is you definitely want. That's all we're gonna say. And it's a major
aspect of the game. It's very, very important, but we will not tell you what it is. And that's all
we're gonna say on that. Because that one's we have like, kind of four big things that we can't
discuss. And that's that's one of them. But, but that we will say this because this is something I
know a lot of you want to hear tlk tokens will have a use before the game. That's all we'll say.
And, and we're gonna kind of we're gonna we're going to do some things. We're going to try and
take some tea okay tokens from you and give you something in advance of the game. And
that's a choice. You can choose to do these things. You you, you might some of you might
decide later on that you're like, oh, maybe you shouldn't have done that. Some of you're like I'm
really glad I've done that. It's just depends on you as an individual and, and we're going to try to
make these choices not too difficult the first few times, but some of these choices are going to
be like, dang, like, do I do this like because I don't know what's next. And there's going to be
things like that it's going to be hard. Personally, I hate when that happens. But, but in hindsight,
it's always fun. It's always fun in hindsight. Let's see, do you support multiple languages?
Unfortunately, no, because we're just doing English. For now, the game is based on English, we
realize that a lot of our communities, we have a lot of French people in our community, French
speakers, maybe with the help of certain users in the community, we will offer one or two
different languages, we might have a Spanish version of the game and maybe a French version.
But that's, I can't see that any time soon at all. That's that that's way way way later on when
we're more established. We have so many more things on the to do list before anything like
that. Um, fortunately, most most French speakers also can, you know, read English really well?
How easy will the game be to enter if you're new to crypto, we're very distracted with a lot of
things. So it might be difficult for us to prioritize holding people's hands at first, but we I am
personally very good at doing like, kind of explaining more complex things in layman's terms
and making like kind of like short guides and illustrations or videos like slideshow animation or
something like that, that can help guide you through the process of setting up a wallet and doing
this. And here's why you do that. And here's how to make this safe. And we're going to be doing
things like that to help people set up. I know that some people don't necessarily know how to
get phantom or how to set it up. And things like that are what a lot of people some people don't
even know the Metamask wallet is a lot of people are new, they're like absolutely brand new to
all this, but they're excited about our project and they want to get involved. We're going to help
you with that. But we have to prioritize the marketing stuff. Right now we're spread thin, we're
we're getting pulled from under different directions. But as we hand out these whitelist we're
gonna, we can begin to like relax on stuff. We just the AMA calls a big kind of build up to this or
not in crypto at all. Okay, it's just an extension to this question. How is the Phantom better than
the other networks? Uh, for starters, it's, it's really, it's pretty cheap right now, it's easy to get in.
And the gas fees are a really, really cheap. I mean, gas fees are great. Is there anything you
want to add about phantom that you have thoughts on,
[Link] [Link]
I was just gonna say like, eath is like the de facto place for NFT projects, but it's just so cost
prohibitive for people to get in there. So naturally, people will look for secondary places. And as
far as I seen, Phantom has a pretty established NFT marketplace. There's Lawson and ft
projects, they got pain swap, and a lot of our allies are pretty good communities are on
Phantom. So that's the reasons why I feel that we're on Phantom and I'm pretty sure loser King
can speak to his experience on phantom limb and why why he likes phantom if you're out there
[Link] [Link]
um, so I've been in on fandom since like, 20 seconds, and I've been I've been like, back then I
have been meeting more like a lot of people and you might, or they became influencers on the
Phantom network right now. And the thing about phantom I felt it was were very friendly
environment, and people were very chill and supportive. And Awesome. Awesome. Yeah. So I
like the theme of the goals then. Scary. spooky thing? Yeah, yes. That's why That's why I chose
to stay because I already had established some relationships here. Fandom was great choice.
For any theater.
Waldo [Link]
There's a lot less like when Moon Lambo type, just, you know, DGN spamming and Phantom at
least that I've seen, like people are they're just, they're really like wholesome. Our community is
great. You guys are amazing. You say good morning all the time and you're really nice to each
other. We we haven't had any problems not I don't think anyone. No one's had to be kicked or
anything like that. It's great. All right, I think I moved away from the image and let me see, okay,
here we go. A whitelist gets you one or more minutes, as many as you want. You know, there's
a limited amount and it's available for a limited time. And, but you can buy as many as you want.
And we've, we've spoken with people who have told us how many they're going to buy. And I
don't know if how many people are going to do that. So I think a lot of people might just get one.
But if, if too many get a lot, then that supply won't really feel like much. It could go quickly. So
we're interested to see how that works. We we have no idea what we're in for.
[Link] [Link]
Kaz 3651, I think was the next question. I'm not sure where you jump to.
Waldo [Link]
Oh. I scroll the way down, I think. Oh, my goodness. Okay. 712. Yep. Okay, when is the game
going to launch? Is it scheduled to be playable by the end of this year? That was hard. It's really
hard to tell. Because we haven't even been touching the game as we work on minting and
staking and smart contracts and marketing. Because we want it we want to have a big
introduction to minting. So we're going to be we want to speak to a lot of projects. And we will
actually start if you pay attention to our Twitter over the next few days, we're actually going to
start posting, basically where if you can get us into a podcast, or an AMA or some sort of
discussion and another an influencer or chat or discord or anything like that, we will actually
reward you and the content or creator with a lot of tlk tokens, and whitelist. And there will be
rewards for that. So if you know anybody start asking around and telling them about our project,
you see if they're if they're interested, because what we've seen Data Wise from our allies
handing out whitelist to their followers, they, they are realizing that that people really like these,
they really want the whitelist. And they're it's amazing, they're just going like that they're quick,
and, and they're they're super boosting our community. And they're because they are allies,
we're actually having a lot of our people pique interest in their projects as well. So it's hard to
say, we were hoping for about two to five months for the alpha is alpha, then there's beta, then
there's game launch. And then we you know, we can to kind of start testing with allies and
people that have been really big contributors. And they can say this, we found these bugs or this
and that. And we'll be a little cautious and we'll get into the beta. It's it's hard to say we can't
really say how long that's going to take game development is. It's rough. It takes a long time to
make a game presentable. It takes a lot of hard work. Now excuse me, so I guess I'll just move
on to next question. Oh, really? Tell me if people are raising their hands because I can't look at
that in these questions. Yeah, the same time? No, we have done okay, you guys can raise your
hands and we'll bring you in and you can ask questions like that. Really love your artwork, Loser
King, I followed you immediately when you're just showing art before anything else was even in
place. Very excited to see the NF T's that was set by Mobius Thank you Mobius le x what are
you most proud excited for the project so far? It's the for me personally, it's the main thing that
we can't talk about. That's, I'm, I can't sleep sometimes because that's very exciting. You guys
want to talk about your things, you know, start with crypto net, you have something that you're
most proud of excited about. You could maybe talk about what you've been working on as well.
Crypt0net [Link]
Yeah, so I've been working on a little bit of things for bail to bring into the social platforms and
just bring a little bit of goofy and fun stuff to it. And then also it might be used as some have a
little bit of a guidance kind of thing with videos and such. So anyways, I didn't take in my my
NFT and pretty much like rigging it to be able to be like an avatar type of thing. That way it's like
a 3d thing but that way it can just be adding some fun to different venues of stuff right so you
know you will see it on tick tock because I'm gonna put it on tick tock and just any kind of
platforms we can cover, right because we want to get as many eyes on the project that it'd be
interested in it as possible. So going outside the box and and just trying to get different eyes on
it. They may not have seen it. That's what That's really my goal, even if it's a funny thing, right?
Um, I do like to have fun. I try to be as professional as possible. Even though I say I'm too much
here. Also, I just really looking forward to the how the all gameplay comes together because
there is some things that that we can't talk about that are that are great. I like that that aspect of
it as well, too, because there's something mysterious to it right? There's going to be a lot of a lot
of hype that that we're going to generate from this because of the the mystery aspect of it too.
There's just, that's what I'm really looking forward to is seeing the community getting hyped
even more and watching it grow more. And all of us partaking in the in the chat and being goofy
and, and civilized to a point. But yeah, I'm really looking forward to those things. I'm really
looking forward to just seeing that. Just seeing the reveals as they happen. It is so hard to not
just talk about the things that we can't talk about. It's like Fight Club right now. But that's that's
what I'm really looking forward
Waldo [Link]
to. Did you mention the kind of 3d rigging thing that you're doing? Yeah.
Crypt0net [Link]
Yeah, that's I kind of just what I kind of blew right over, right? Because that was almost like a
little, little bit of a drop that outer thing.
Waldo [Link]
Let's say that it was right.
Crypt0net [Link]
Yeah, I mean, I got you never know, maybe there might be an image that drops into the chat
room at some point. And it might be there for just a few moments. And it might not
Waldo [Link]
interesting, sometimes things are here. And then they disappear real quickly. For active users.
There's weird things like that, that happens sometimes.
Crypt0net [Link]
There's just weird things that happen. And it's just weird. Yeah, but also, yeah, so also
something that I'm looking forward to is maybe getting it to wear that the whitelist bottle. Let me
give me give some whitelist. So I'm just kidding.
Waldo [Link]
Yeah, well, yeah, that's we're giving away a whitelist of people that are in the chat right now.
And I taken screenshots and stuff like that. I also want to say this, I was gonna save this for the
end, but the first 200 People that have ever commented in our Discord ever will get a whitelist
that's all gonna be done manually. That's not gonna be fun. But 200 People will be whitelisted,
just because they were the first ones ever taught talking to discord. And I just want to say that
there's things that we will, we are more likely to reward behavior that we want to see. And
there's certain behavior that we just won't reward at all right, like, you know, like, basically just
begging and can shaking, like, it's because if you reward a few times, then it just gets out of
hand and everyone's doing it. But we will, we will. We will reward people who are active, we will
reward people who are contributing. If you contribute very big and affect the project in a very big
way, like Steven vinyl did with his music on the front webpage, you're going to we're gonna
make it rain on you, you're gonna have a lot of rewards throughout the process of the project, as
well as in the game, you will have an edge over other people. So people that help we notice you
and we appreciate you. And people that make the community feel wholesome and real and
make make it a place that people want to come and type in. And people that roleplay is
something that we're going to reward to fold is the king wants to talk about that also mentioned,
root and lose the king, if you can mention what you're most excited about some sort of short,
concise, concise answer. And
[Link] [Link]
for me, it's the community the excitement that the community shows really resonates with me,
it's kind of is the ying yang to Loser King's excitement. So he's excited on one side of the
candidate, he's excited on the other and energizes me to to put these enormous amount of
hours into developing the page and the contracts and all the stuff for you guys, because I want
this just as much as everyone else.
[Link] [Link]
And lose the game. Right I'm, I'm exciting, excited about putting, creating the creating the, the
fantasy worlds a universe that that I can see grow over time. And it's something like, I'm creating
the foundation for something greater than my individual myself. And it's like, and you see, it
grows through something like much bigger and that's and also next next things are it's exciting
for me is that seeing that, that universe, like being and as as realistic as possible, because, as I
mentioned before, I really like the sense of realism. anything. So I really like to see, like people
being weak, like creative about their approach how to play the game. And I want to I want to
people, I want people to have consequences for their actions. I want to see them pay the price
or read the reports, or eating they do.
Waldo [Link]
Yeah. Ham has asked how do you ensure holding tlk tokens is more beneficial for the long
term? What is your plan to maintain demand for the token? The answer is that it's there's very,
very clever, clever mechanisms built into the staking, that I will leave it to root if he wants to talk
more about that. But that the answer is built into things built into staking for now. And then when
a game comes changes,
[Link] [Link]
we're trying to create the staking in a way where people will keep their tokens staked and not
pull them out. So the benefit will be there to get in early and the benefit will be there to stay for
the long term. Right? We're trying to avoid people dumping tokens on secondary markets, right,
the idea is to get you got in early, you got your NFT, get that benefit, and then use it later, when
the game's out.
Waldo [Link]
People that want to dump well, will not make as much the experience won't be as won't be as
enjoyable for them long term, and they're really going to kick themselves later on. Because once
people, once the game comes out, and people really start to interact with the game, once tlk
tokens are converted, these people are going to be the people that they're like, Wow, I really, I
really regret, like, selling them, right, because a lot of some people, they just think of short term
profits, they don't think of like the real benefits mechanically or incentive wise that they can
come later on. And we're pretty, we're pretty creative team of individuals and we we have
created mechanisms in place for that. Any information regarding the white paper, we don't, we
don't have a white paper, we're very close to the community you are here, if you want to talk to
us, the community's not so big that we're overwhelmed by that, we will be after the AMA call,
we're gonna start hanging out and public chat a lot more. We just wanted to save the main
introduction and talking points for this. So we didn't have to repeat things over and over again.
And, but you'll you can just talk to us. You know, like if you want to ask about things where
between all of us we have we literally have a PDF that says things we can't talk about. So you're
not gonna like get us drunk or are like keep talking all of us and prime prime prime and then
you'll start to get things between between us we're highly trained on what not to talk about. So
um, but we will just hang out we're casual you can ask us things will tell you if we can't or can't
talk about it. And
[Link] [Link]
there was a guy asking about what he's like unique about opera chicken. So so how many like
projects would casually talk to you on voice chat and you could ask them like questions
personally. And like how many how many projects have like people who can show and just you
know, have fun just showing everybody it's like you know we we make game but we also know
that the fun is most important thing about gaming right so so we will have a lot of fun after this
mm ama we didn't want to sound too cringe because we this is recorded and we didn't want it
like to for our first impression would be like obviously a bunch of legions we will have a lot of like
Grinch moments and find after this first in code series AMA and you know, we have a lot of fun
with you guys and they will also have no days up. We hate we have to keyboard and that to
keyboard is capable of giving wireless spots. And we have to think we have to take cow kocowa
Someday yeah and and that the Oka bot will be also able to give away tlk tokens in the very
near future. So we will be basically paying you and reward and gifting you Dlk token soon. So
it's not it's not going to be just wide laced. But also, you know some fealty tokens that might or
might not have value in the future. I don't know. That's what the market decides.
Waldo [Link]
At least Yeah, you know, that might have
[Link] [Link]
been a game and it might have worn a lot or might not. I don't know. So, but, you know, it's
something you might might be more motivated to, to get, then just 10 wireless. So
Waldo [Link]
yeah, and we'll tell you what we want to see, we'll say, we, you know, like, we need emojis for
the server's we said, help us with emojis will hand out wireless, right? We need this, you help us
with it. And we'll, you know, like the giveaway where one's naming that bot, right? There will be
things like that we need help with something, we need ideas, or we're looking for people to lore
any if you you know, maybe some one of the user suggestions are so amazing, we do it, we're
gonna give you tlk tokens, we're gonna be like, thanks a lot. Here you go. There's gonna be a
lot of things like that. And
[Link] [Link]
we will have like, a flash flash moments and evidence in the chat. And you know, sometimes we
just wake up and be like, Hey, guys, we have a some mini competition. Who's going to do this
first, or we have like random questions about our lore, like, Okay, so can you name me?
factories? That is guarding the well? And who is good this first? Answer the first we'll get up to
date. Okay. All right, that sounds fine. Right?
Waldo [Link]
Also, we will, the bot will have the ability that you can tip other people. So if you know you like
someone that's, you know, you make friends with someone or someone does something cool,
or they help you out, or that you can tip them, you can say, hey, here's some of my tlk tokens
that I've earned. And you can, you can do that as well. So hopefully, we'll see like the
community really flourish in a wholesome, benevolent kind of way, that'd be really great to see.
[Link] [Link]
Right, and then I just want to say, we might have something you can buy or purchase for
tailgate tokens before the game. So it's not only about holding and gifting, but it might be
something you can get before the game.
Waldo [Link]
So let's move on to another question here. RMP says, What happens if I buy multiple NF T's like
10 Plus NF T's and play it all along and benefit from the stakes, game mechanics, etc? How
might it impact the gameplay? Well, you're you're referring to all Ting and, you know, having
kind of more main account that you play on, or multi logging between multiple accounts or
whatever, there's only one log in her NFT. But we realized that, you know, some people are
gonna do some work around where they have, they're trying to juggle multiple accounts, and
they're staking and this and that, we've, we're aware of this. And we have things in place. And
it's also something that we're we're actively discussing more and more because we think we can
improve on the system we have. But there's, there's kind of a system in place for, for this for all
team so that if you were making a bunch of NF, like tlk tokens, and you're staking and you're
kind of spoon feeding your main account that your main account is going to be like, vastly more
powerful than anyone else, because you were a whale that bought 100, NF T's or something.
And you have a botnet or something. Does anyone want to add to that real quick before we
move on?
[Link] [Link]
Yeah, so So we encourage? Yeah, we will, we will encourage people all thing, but it's also the
middle one and 180, by one word, enjoy. So. So you want to, let's say playing with another
character, you have to basically use another one. But you can hold as many of these as you
want. And you can stick them.
Waldo [Link]
And we know a lot of people are going to do that. And I mean, it's worth it to do that it will it will
be worth it to do that. But it's not going to it's not going to cripple the game or anything. The
whales can just like ruin all the fun. So some of some of the kind of, well, we won't say more
about it. You'll see. So but but as a as a person who's interested in doing that there's benefits to
that. It's not it's not something that's going to be like blocked or anything like that. How are you
guys going to balance the community between good and bad players in game? If one or the
other gives the player to manage me short, the player will divide and have to me bad players.
And good players might give the opposite players a hard time. It's not. It's not quite like that. I
know. We were discussing this earlier, but it's not quite like that. But we'll see we'll see there. It's
kind of think of more like think limited to kind of almost consumable or limited type actions for
some of this. So it's not like you can just spam grief or anything like that. There's nothing like
that. I don't think that's if you have concerns with that you should you should be able to sleep
tonight. Will you be able to perhaps include an indicator that would reflect the character's
alignment based off their actions. So if a player constantly does bad things, you would see
maybe an inclination towards evil or some indicator and the opposite with a player that
constantly does good things. I'm guessing they mean on their NFT.
[Link] [Link]
Maybe I mean, in the game
Waldo [Link]
in the game? Yeah, I know there will be there will be like, you can be able to kind of maybe right
click a player and see a little bit about them. There will be maybe a few things like that. Yeah.
But not really like, like, if you're picturing like that Star Wars game where you you choke
someone out with the force, and then you get an evil rating and your character becomes more
evil and evil. It's not going to be necessarily like that. I wouldn't think of it like that at all. If you're
an NF T to play a game. Oh, wait,
[Link] [Link]
yeah, go ahead. Um, I just wanted to add about that. So if you if you meet a stranger,
somewhere where you are adventuring and exploring you meet a stranger? Do you think he's a
good person? Or a bad person? Like, do you immediately know that? That guy's a bad guy, and
he's gonna rob you while you sleep? Or is that good guy is gonna help you to get some
treasures. But you don't know. Right? So we want to keep that mystery element in the game in
the game to where? Yeah, definitely, he will never really know, you, you have to find out by
interacting with the player. If it's a good or a bad person. Otherwise, we then there's not going to
be a star like shining over his head saying no, this is this is a bad person. No, you don't know.
Let's take all the fun away. You have to find by yourself by socially interacting with him like, oh,
is this guy like going out? Kill me? Or is he like, going to help me?
Waldo [Link]
Okay, so, um, we are at the two hour mark. So we're just going to man time really, really flies
does it feel like that long, we're just gonna start speeding through these kind of rapid fire every
team member has something they want to add, just say like a you know, like kind of stopped me
or something. And then you can give you a quick introduction. So if you play an NF T two game,
and they're limited, what's going to prevent people from buying an NF t just for the staking
rewards than not actually playing the game? I mean, some people are going to do that. I don't
think that's let's see, if you if you need an NF T to play a game and they are limited was gonna
prevent people from buying an entity? Well, they're not necessarily limited. We need more if we
need more people to to access the game, like more people need to access the game, there will
be more NF T's because it's a login, essentially, right? Yeah.
[Link] [Link]
So for free see that, like 90% of the NF T's are staked and no one's playing the game, then we
obviously need to open it up to have more people play the game.
Waldo [Link]
Yeah, we just change things. So is it? Is it worth getting to? And playing a bad one and a good
one with the other? Sure, absolutely. Some people are going to do that. But it again, everyone's
thinking good and evil because of how we were talking earlier about an hour ago. He said,
We're about an hour ago and the questions. Can I own a bar, please? And later updates. We
will have like building type things. Sure. You can own a bar. Whoo. Talk to us about it when
we're doing that. Can you die? Uh huh. Yes, yeah. But, but I don't know, maybe start thinking
about a little differently than than actually dying. And you don't know, yeah, you die.
[Link] [Link]
You die. But what happens when you die is something that will be revealed over time. So don't
be scared that you're gonna lose your NFT or anything like that. But there will be stuff that we're
going to disclose us as we're ready to do that.
Waldo [Link]
Yeah, dying is punishing, for sure. But it's not like, it's devastating. You know, it just really, really
sucks. And you don't want to do it? Will it go 3d in some kind of Metaverse like sandbox? No,
we're not gonna do like an Oculus Rift, three dimensional Skyrim type game. I don't think that'll
ever happen, but we will get a better game as we go. And some of them I think, we think,
hopefully, we'll make something that looks really really nice. But you know, games can look
really bad. And they can be really basic, but they're just highly addicting and everyone fucking
loves it like that. It's really about making a feeling right? Like when you when you're a little kid
and you're going to Christmas and it feels good and it what that good feeling is when in
hindsight when you get older, you realize that that's just the love of your family. It's the it's the
comfort and the safety. That's that good feeling of Christmas, right? It's just me as
manufacturer, they just made kind of Christmas and it has a good feeling and this game can
have a good feeling if the community is wholesome, and loving and we're new creative and
we're we're you know, we're building a good thing right? It doesn't have to be like super
complex. Christmas is just putting a thing under a tree right? A super thorough guys appreciate
thanks. Classy clown. I sold them anything page on telegram. Oh, so i i I posted a sneak peek,
not the whole landing page, but just at NASA that was on the telegram. And I hovered over
Delete. And the second that someone read it, I deleted it. Only one person saw that that was
him. So that's awesome. Yeah, so don't tell anyone secret secret. But he got whitelisted to
because of that he's bribed. He was bribed to stay silent. Hidden beans, okay, and more beans,
beans, beans, beans. Okay, recently, there's been a lot of damage from hacking etc. Have you
taken any measures will be open source, I don't think the game will be open source. But loser
root has worked a lot in security, and is very, very good at that. And we're very confident in the
end can be very secure. So post away a lot of this is designed it's not something where hackers
can really get anywhere anyways, so but if you want to add something real quick to that. No,
[Link] [Link]
other than just ever keeping it in mind and we'll we'll do our best to protect absolutely everything
we can you know how the blockchain works, and no one can take your NF T's without your
proving things. No one can take your tokens without you proving things so not really worried for
that aspect. It'll be more of protecting the game itself.
Waldo [Link]
Alright, we're almost done. There's not many questions. I've seen a shell channel, what else can
we do to pimp the project says Peru, PR you so well, you can suggest things but you'll know,
there'll be moments where we make, we're going to start doing something I think, pretty soon
kind of like a news letter type thing, where I can't say too much about it. But picture of being
able to read into like, you can see a glimpse into what's happening in the kingdom. Even though
we can't play the game, we feel like we're in it, we feel like we know what's going on in the
kingdom, that there are things like that you can share those will make animated videos kind of
explaining what the game is about. Maybe short, concise versions of what we talked about here,
like a two minute video or a three minute that's like, Hey, this is what this project is about. And
you can share that video everywhere will make it for Dummies very simple. And people will love
people will love something like that. Because it's it's taking like two hours worth of explanations
until like, a very short amount of time, like 535 minutes or something like that. Basically just tell
people word of mouth is is literally the most efficient marketing strategy of all time. Nothing ever
beats word of mouth. If everyone's like, Hey, you gotta check this thing out. It's crazy. It's
absolutely blowing my mind. Everyone's gonna get in like that's, that's what sells projects. And
this the project has gotten big, doing basically just that people, you're telling other people, and
they're coming in. And I know that some of you are so excited about the project that you've
already exhausted all your everyone already knows about Dlk if they're friends with you, but
some of you haven't consider doing that yet or haven't made any sort of like talking to someone
about it. Maybe you don't have many friends in crypto. But this thing this isn't really something
that people necessarily need to be obsessed with crypto I know about bounding curves and
blockchain and like all this stuff to really have fun with they can they can get in even if they're
kind of quote unquote Normie. Right. So just tell people word of mouth. Um, I heard someone
asked about beans but I missed that answer. Will there be beans there will be beans. Haha
when Bing questions channel, I am quite close to Professor crypto banana. And I know he's
looking for exciting game pi projects on Phantom, how we get in touch with them ASAP.
Awesome. We love stuff like that. And we will be rewarding people who are have connections to
influencers or you can get us in channels where we're speaking, we want to have a
conversation just like this. And all kinds of other sorts of discourse. And we will we will make it
rain will give out all kinds of rewards and stuff. I just want to kill someone else. Okay, there'll be
PvP maybe way down the road. Will it be possible to play using a state NF? T? Sorry, if you
answer this I'm smooth brain. Okay, so the way that you're thinking of staking is there's two
aspects of it. There's staking pregame. And in which case, you're mainly just staking, sadly,
because the game is being built, but we'll make some things. We'll make it interesting as much
as we can. And there's several things we have planned to make it interesting. But when you get
into the game, it becomes a lot different and you can I don't know how much I could say I'll let
rude answer this because I'm going to say I might say someone supposed to
[Link] [Link]
Yeah, I think you can just simplify it by saying that having your NFT which is your your access to
the game will give you some benefits right so you are talking about staking in a traditional sense
once you're playing the game. Staking takes on a different meaning. That's probably the best
way I can describe it without revealing too much. It'll be different.
Waldo [Link]
Someone said get on Twitter spaces with phantom allies plenty of content craters excited to lift
up projects like yours. Yep. We have got we have phenomenal allies. We love our allies, they've
they're doing excellent work. And they are, they are. I mean, they're promoting us purely
because they know we're legit. They like us, they see that we have creativity and they, there are
people just like you that like the project. It's not like, we're like throwing insane amounts of
money at them or anything. It's just, it's just word of mouth, but their word of mouth goes further.
[Link] [Link]
It's also one of the one of our strength bullish sciences that we, we haven't paid for marketing
like a single thing.
Waldo [Link]
Yeah, and we don't, we don't really intend to it's like you join or not or making something cool,
you can show up and eventually they will show up. Right? That's that's just kind of how
[Link] [Link]
we wouldn't be begging, being some random swaps with with ghosts logo, yeah. To be listed on
their money. Money eating machine, any money, you eating machines, that that are like the t or
d like call it, the
Waldo [Link]
marketing promise, we're not going to be paying marketing promise, either. Like, it's cool or not,
you know?
[Link] [Link]
You care about us, like, Bob there. Something like you don't care about us at all.
Waldo [Link]
That's, that's a big significant thing about us. The team and how we operate is we're very
casual. It's like, Oh, you don't want to you don't care about the last kingdom then okay, you
know, like, we're not gonna, we're not gonna beg you to, to join or come over or look at
something like if you want to, you know, check it out. We'll answer any questions you have. You
might like you might not. Some people aren't into this kind of game. medieval fantasy type stuff.
But the people who who do like it are really wholesome. Like you guys are cool. We've talked to
some of your voice are great. Plenty, let's see. Okay, it looks like we've answered the entire
ama channel, I will give the chance. If anyone wants to raise their hand real quick before we're
pretty much done here. I think we've we've gone through everything. So I'll give you time to type
up one last question or raise your hand? I don't see any raised hands in the chat. I expected
more raised hands actually.
[Link] [Link]
We've gone through quite a lot of questions. So that's pretty good.
Waldo [Link]
I think the only last thing that we didn't necessarily talk about people are gonna say when meant
two to three more weeks ish, maybe? How many are you going to MIT about 10,000 We might
put a little bit above the 10,000. Not much just so we can hold those NF Ts and we will use
those to give away. Some people are struggling and they don't they have a hard time that you
know, they can't necessarily make it to the mint in time because they're struggling or maybe we
do some giveaways with influencers and stuff and we give them NF T's but we want to reserve a
few. So that we can we can give those away if we need to. So
[Link] [Link]
we want to make this NFP game fi as affordable as possible. So we don't charge you 150
Phantom for you useless entity.
Waldo [Link]
Yep. And we were very good at saving. So we have like, if we have, like tlk tokens or something
we're very moderate with with spending and and we're very good at saving. So we can make
200 NF T's last forever, like we give one here and there were to K tokens will just kind of be
given out to people who are doing things that we like to see. And that's coming that's that's
coming soon right. So, we that will be probably up to K tokens before minting,
[Link] [Link]
we want to we want to we want to support people who are not financially settled, but they are
very they are active and they are contributing. So, we want to reward that kind of behavior. Also,
we want to reward our contributors, we will basically shoe we will put them on pedestals and we
will just call their names every time we have a chance Yeah so even if you even if you decide to
contribute any way possible anytime and is appreciated and we will basically mentioned you in
every possible way. And you know do do the marketing for you even if you are like a small
career right now you might you know, you might be a big one when we when we have a game
like when when we write get famous and we just show you every everywhere I think you will not
like have problem to get more business as a content creator or any freelance work do you do?
We're gonna be
Waldo [Link]
we're pretty nice people like we're not We don't care about we're not so big on on money that
we're going to like, it's like we're building a game. We're in a great community, some people can
afford the buy in and we'll let you in, you know, like, it's not like, you know, pay the money. You
can't you can't pay pay pay pay pay pay, you know, like it's everyone's wants to take something
from you at every given opportunity to take take, take take take. And, and I don't know, it's
gotten way out of hand, it's is seems, seems too much. It's gotten kind of disgusting. Seems
[Link] [Link]
like, she's like we also getting out of the hands with this ama event. So let's go let's close this
up. And let's move to the voice chat. Everybody was interested in talking anybody asked
casually, we're just asking more questions, or we can just move to the normal voice chat and
close this MMA and call it today.
Waldo [Link]
Okay, so, here's the deal, we're going to I'm just, I just not made it so that you can connect to
the public chat. We're going to the public chat, we're gonna hang out you can talk a little further
if you want. The recording is about to be closed, though. So um, it doesn't seem like there's any
more questions. Thanks for coming. By the way when someone joins in, they're like, where do I
what do I learn more? I send them to the readme first channel. That's that's something that we
should say. So thanks for coming up. We didn't expect it to be two hours long. But here we are.
I
[Link] [Link]
think you have already gotten Thank you. Thanks, everyone, and we expect it to be two hours.
Yeah. But he was so fast, right? Didn't felt like two hours,
Waldo [Link]
and we kind of covered everything so. Alright, thanks a lot. We'll see you guys later.
