Describe the distribution of active volcanoes, earthquake epicenters, and major mountain belts to
plate tectonic theory.

Objectives

After going through this exemplar, you are expected to:

A. Knowledge:
Define and describe the theory of plate tectonic and how this theory affects
Earth’s structures.

B. Skill: Arrange in sequence the terminologies related to the theory of plate tectonic
in the holistic map activity provided.

C. Attitude:
Appreciate earth as a planet, and how the theory of plate tectonic affects the earth
in many different ways by writing a simple science feature.
