1. Split Pour Café – Split Pour Café is located at Pabayo, Gaerlan St, Marfori Compound,
Cagayan de Oro, 9000 Misamis Oriental. This business started when the owner Bevearly Grace
Castrodes had a courage to start a business that supports dancing and especially coffee, these are
the two things that she love combined. This coffee shop is known for its unique characteristics
which is a Coffee shop that supports dancing, it is because the owner of this coffee shop loves to
dance and also loves coffee. The strengths of this business is that they are widely known in the
area and many people loves this place especially of their products and their customer services. It
is also an advantage that all of their employees and staff are well-practice on how to make a
coffee or any products that they serve. Unlike our business, the Split Pour Café have developed
their weaknesses and challenges and overcome it throughout their journey and it is their
advantage because they know the preferences of the customers about coffee. The weaknesses of
this business is that although they are widely known but sometimes they are lacking on
customers and their products are just the same with the other coffee shops. But what makes them
unique is that, they have their own dance studio where most of the dancers are practicing. The
Split Pour Café serves different kinds of coffee, cakes, sandwiches, and meals. Their price is also
budget friendly in order for all the customers to afford their products, whether it is unique or not
their business is really good in terms of their products and pricing.

2. Café Republique – Café Republique is located at Pabayo, Hayes St., Cagayan de Oro City,
9000 Misamis Oriental, Philippines. This business serves a high quality of products mainly
coffees. They serve with a smile and has a good customer service, they also have a variety of
products that you can choose, from meals, snacks, frappes, cakes, and coffee. This business is
known for its environment that brings solemnity and peace in order for the people to stay focused
and they also have a strong air conditioner. The strengths of this business is that they serve a
high quality of products and many people usually hangout in their store and their shop is also
known in every place especially the whole city. They also have a clean environment that many
people could enjoy their time to do their works and projects. Meanwhile, their weaknesses are
also their competitors nearby their place, knowing the streets of Pabayo where many businesses
are placed, the Café Republique sometimes lacks customers especially in this pandemic. Aside
from that, they did not fail to compromise the preferences of their customers and continuously
