A WORD TO THE PARENTS
1. The assessment of your ward for this academic session will be based on Continuous
and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) which is also the basis for promotion to the
next classes.
2. For this purpose the session is being divided into three terms.
First and Second term will have one cycle each of Unit Test comprising of
written and oral assessment.
Third Term will comprise of Unit Test paper of 60 marks for the major
subjects.
Each term will have:
a) Two cycles of Personal and Social Skills.
b) One Unit Test of Minor Subjects.
3. The ‘Annual Result’ means aggregate grades secured by the student in Unit Tests,
Daily Assessments and Personal and Social Skills assessments. Students must secure
minimum C2 grade in all the Unit Tests for all the three terms for promotion to the
next class.
4. If any student fails to appear in any paper for whatever reason, his/her score for the
purpose of calculations of aggregate grades of that examination shall be considered
zero. No student is entitled to reappear in any of the test(s) on account of his/her
absence in any regular test(s).
5. A student should have 75% attendance during the academic session for the
promotion to the next class.
6. All Unit Tests, etc. will be taken as per given schedule, during the school hours only.
Changes, if any will be intimated.
7. Art and Craft, Punjabi, Conversation, Physical Education, Music tests will be
conducted in the respective period as per the dates given by the teacher concerned.
