 Boom (noun) = aumento

Definition: a quick increase of business activity


Example: The tourist boom has created job opportunities.

 Demand(noun): demanda

Definition: the need or desire that people have for particular goods and
services.
Example: Over the previous decade, demand for holidays in the sun had risen
steadily.

 Market(noun): mercado

Definition:the number of people who want to buy something, or the type of


people who want to buy it
Example:Our target market is the young solo traveller looking for fun and
entertainment.

 Tour(noun): tour

Definition:a journey for pleasure, during which you visit several different
towns, areas etc
Example:We offer a 15-day tour of China.

Definition:on or towards the shore of a lake, river, sea etc

ships are safe when they are inside it

Definition:the repairs, painting etc that are necessary to keep something in


good condition

Definition:the practice of selling more hotel rooms or plane tickets than there
are available

this quality

activity and eagerness to be involved in it.

Remuneration:

 Salary: a fixed regular payment made by an employer, often monthly , for


professional or office work as opposed to manual work.
 Fee ( honorario): a payment asked by professional people or public servants for
their services.
 Wage ( sueldo semanal): payment in return for work or services, esp. that
made to workmen on a daily, hourly , weekly , or piece work basis.
 Tip (propina): a payment given for services in excess of the standard charge,
gratuity.
 Perk( extra, ventaja): an incidental benefit gained from certain type of
employment, such as the use of a company car.
 Overtime ( horas extras): the rate of pay established for a work at a regular job
done in addition to regular working hours.

local money of the country you visit
