Subject: Resignation Letter
Sir / Madam:
I am regretfully informing you that I am resigning from my position as ______________
and I will not be renewing my contract this coming ___________. Although I have so
enjoyed working with you and working for the company, personal reasons necessitate
that I vacate my position and focus on improving my situation at home in my country.
My last day at work will be ________ 2020, so please accept this letter as my official
notice of resignation from GMC Clinics.
My resignation is solely based on personal reasons and it does not, in any way, imply
that I am dissatisfied with my job. Unfortunately, personal family circumstances at this
time require my full attention, and I have few important issues to take care of, which
leave me unable to fulfil my duties to the company. I have to look after my only daughter
at school, support my husband in our family business and also I have take care my
aging mother at home in the Philippines.
I am thankful for everything the company has given me, and I will always be grateful for
everything I have learned throughout my stay in the company.
I will do whatever necessary to ensure a smooth transition before my last days of stay
with the company. I will be more than happy to assist in training of my replacement I will
make sure that my pending tasks and responsibilities will be properly taken care of .
Thank you very much for understanding. I have had a positive experience working at
GMC Clinics. And I hope that upon my leaving the company, it will not affect our
relationship. Please let me know if you have any questions or if you think of any way I
can help with the transition to a new Dental Assistant. May I also request a letter or
certificate of recommendation based on my length of service here in the company for
my future documentation.
