Specific hazards: This product is not classified as a "hazardous product" according to EEC criteria.
Main symptoms: Contact with molten material causes severe burns.

Section 3 COMPOSITION AND INFORMATION ON THE INGREDIENTS

Section 4 FIRST AID MEASURES
Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. If symptoms persist, seek medical assitance.
Skin contact: In case of contact with molten product, rapidly cool the area with water, never try to remove the
material from the skin. The emergency treatment, as well as the medical assistance, after overexposure
should be directed to control all the symptoms and the clinical condition of the patient. Symptomatic
treatment.
Eye contact: Flush with lots of running water for removal of fines.
Ingestion: Treat symptomatically. Do not induce vomiting and seek medical attention.
Protection for Brigades: In fire rescue operations, wear thermal and aluminized insulated clothing and self-
contained breathing apparatus.
Medical notes: Avoid contact with the product to help the victim. Keep victim warm and at rest. Do not give
anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Symptomatic treatment should include support measures such
as correction of hydroelectrolytic, metabolic disorders, as well as respiratory assistance.

aquecida. Não forneça nada pela boca a uma pessoa inconsciente. O tratamento sintomático deve
compreender, sobretudo, medidas de suporte como correção de distúrbios hidroeletrolíticos, metabólicos,
além de assistência respiratória.
Section 5 FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
Suitable Extinguishing Media: Use water, mechanical foam, chemical foam, CO2 and sand.
Extinguishing media not recommended: No extinction restriction
Specific Hazards Measures: Release of harmful or toxic fumes of carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide
(CO2). Fuel product melts with heat. Risk of fire propagation through flammable currents. Depending on the
amount of powder in the material, it may form an explosive mixture in contact with the air.
Special methods of fire-fighting: Cool closed containers with water spray. Fight fire at a safe distance.

Protection of fire-fighters: Wear full protective equipment for fire and self-contained breathing apparatus.
Wear thermal insulated clothing.
Specific hazards of combustion of the chemical: In combustion, it produces irritating vapors.

Section 6 LEAKAGE OR SPILL CONTROL MEASURES
Personal Precautions: Isolate area. Keep awy people without function in the emergency care. State the
place of transit and notify the appropriate local authorities.
Protection: Wear gloves, safety glasses. In case of fire, wear suitable respiratory protection. Emergency
measures: Prevent product from spreading by using soil or sand as a barrier.
Environmental Precautions: Prevent product from spreading. It is recommended to prevent the product from
entering watercourses, gutters, drains or sewage galleries. These polymers are of high molecular weight,
evidencing a biological inactivity.
Methods for cleaning up:
Recovery: recover product mechanically with the aid of shovels or backhoe. Collect the product in drums or
big bags for later disposal.
Cleaning / Decontamination: Collect material by pouring packing into drums or big bags. Do not use water,
use mechanical sweeping. Collect contaminated material in a separate container.
Disposal: Do not dispose of as household waste. Incinerate in an authorized installation. The final disposal of
this material must be accompanied by a specialist and in accordance with current environmental legislation
Prevention of secondary hazards: Attention when stepping on the granules, risk of falling. Do not discharge
into the environment or sewage system.
Section 7 HANDLING & STORAGE
Handling: Technical procedures: Adequate ventilation and / or respiratory protection is required when
processing the product in hot conditions.
Appropriate technical measures:
Prevention of worker exposure: Handle in a well ventilated area or with general ventilation / exhaustion
system. Avoid dust formation. Adopt individual protection as per section 8.
Fire and Explosion Hazards: Avoid vapors from heated or decomposed material. If the product is hot or
melted, personal protective equipment (PPE) should be used to prevent burns. Avoid any kind of physical or
chemical contamination with the product (water, gases, etc.). Handle in accordance with good industrial
hygiene and safety practice.
Caution and Guidelines for Safe Handling: Adequate ventilation and / or respiratory protection is required in
the container opening to prevent exposure to toxic or irritant vapors that may have accumulated in the
container clearances during the storage period. Keep away from heat or flame. Keep at room temperature,

free of moisture and dust, leave room for access (+/- 1m). When using a big bag, comply with the
manufacturer's recommendations. For stacking, do not exceed two levels.

Packing conditions: Big bags of 1200 +/- 200 kg, silos or bulk trucks of stainless steel or duralumin.

Environmental effects, behavior and impact of the product:

persistence, bio accumulation and degradability are not expected.
Other adverse effects: No environmental effect of this material has been established.
Section 13 CONSIDERATIONS ON FINAL DISPOSAL
Recommended treatment and disposal methods applied to:
Product: Treatment/Disposal of the product must be evaluated in a case-by-case basis. Consult Indorama
Ventures Polimeros S.A.
Destruction/elimination: Recycle the product as much as possible. If a grinding operation is necessary for
recycling, take all necessary precautions to avoid formation and dispersing of dusts. The non-recycled
product can be eliminated along with vulgar industrial residues. Incinerate in authorized facility. Eliminate as
per the applicable local prescriptions.
Dirty packages: Decontamination /cleaning: Recycle after proper cleaning.
Destruction/elimination: According with the local possibilities; recycle or incinerate under controlled
conditions in authorized facility.
NOTE: it should be brought to the user attention the possible existence of local regulations pertaining to
elimination regarding it. Use the PPEs mentioned in section 8.
