Practice Exercise / Assignment

1. Open stress_data.sav.
2. The stressors considered in the study are: school (s1 to s9); money (m1 to
m11); relationships (r1 to r8); and body, mind and feelings (b1 to b15).
(Please see the stress questionnaire to have a more understanding of the
variables)
3. Factor analyze items under each stressor.
4. Compute for the mean of the factors of each extracted components in each of
the stressor.
5. Compute for the summation of the items under each indicator culling out
insignificant items.
6. Compute for the determinants of stress (DV).

Note: Assume all six assumptions enumerated in the Regression tutorial are met.
