1 INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY 1

Four Friends are having a talk thru Online Meeting. They are
discussing about what happened to their friend William and
why he is sad and upset about something.

WILLIAM
I already tell you guys, there was
nothing okay? Guys please.. let's
talk about something else. Stop
asking me stupid questions. Nothing
really happened. I promise.
TESSA
No, -- you can't fool us bro. We all
feel "something" definitely happened
to you. You just won't tell us and
we don't have an idea why.
KAREN
Come on man, are we like a stranger
to you? WE ARE YOUR FRIENDS WILLIAM!
You can tell anything to us. We're
here for you! To help you.

BELLA
William, be honest. What happened to
you? Recently, you're acting like
those sad boy you only see on
Twitter and I tell you man, it's
pretty cringe and annoying at the
same time.
JESS
I tell you what girls, he is
reluctant to tell us what happened
maybe because it is about either
something or ---someone? huh?
(imitates aegyo noises) Are you shy
Mister? Is our boy in love? Is there
a girl in his life?
WILLIAM
What? A Girl? heh! No. (hesitant)
TESSA
Did the girl break our little boys'
heart? (aegyo noises)

WILLIAM
Shut up--

KAREN
Or maybe the girl is in love with
someone and Mr. Sad boy here is
getting jealous? (aegyo noises)
WILLIAM
Very funny Karen, she's not in love
with someone. (realizes he slipped)

Everyone was shocked to what he said.

BELLA
OH MY GOD! You really met someone,
did you? William?
WILLIAM
No.
JESS
Oh god, William just tell us what
happened and we swear that we won't
tell anyone about this. Right girls?
TESSA
Amen to that.
KAREN
Yup!
BELLA
Not a word, No. Nada.

Bella zips her mouth and throws the key. William sighs.

WILLIAM
Okay guys, you're starting to get on
my nerves and it's getting annoying
jeez. Let me tell you what happened
really but.. before that, let's go
back 4 months ago when all this mess
started.

JESS
Be our guest, "Lover Boy".
(Sarcastically)

The three girls laugh at William.

4 MONTHS AGO

2 INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY 2

William, an ordinary man living his normal life every day. He

owns an online bookshop and makes his living into it by
selling books and delivering it to the buyers.

While waiting for his next customer, he's having a call with
his friend on the other line.

WILLIAM
I'm telling you man, Pineapples in
Pizzas are the best. I tell you wh--
What? What do you mean disgusting?
First of all - It is scientifically
proven that Pineapples belong to
Pizzas. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY..
Pineapple has many health benefits.
It contains Vitamin C, Potassium,
and Fiber. So why do you hate
something that is actually good for
your health?

A girl appeared in the meeting because she's the next

customer of William.

WILLIAM
Okay man, whatever you say. Enjoy
that plain and unhealthy pizza of
yours. I have a customer, I'll call
you later. Bye.

William hangs up the phone and we see Anna. Anna is a well-

known and an award-winning actress but arrogant and snobbish
in real life.

WILLIAM
Good Morning Miss, May I know your
name?

ANNA
(in a rude manner) No you can't
Mister. It doesn't matter to you
what my name is. I'm here for a

book, not answering your stupid

irrelevant questions.

WILLIAM
(shocked) okay? but I tell you what.
This transaction between us will
surely not work if you don't give me
something (pause) and with that
attitude too...
ANNA
Okay boy, All I want is a book and
I'll pay you. I will give the
required information you need for
the delivery and that's it okay? You
can just call me Ma'am.

WILLIAM
Whatever you say... Ma'am
(sarcastic)

ANNA
I want a book please.

WILLIAM
Yes Ma'am, I know that because
that's the only thing I sell here.
What particular kind of book you are
looking for? and we can start there.

ANNA
What do you have in there?

William starts looking at his bookshelf in front

WILLIAM
We have classics Ma'am. Pride and
Prejudice, Little Women, The Great
Gatsby, and---oh! To Kill a
Mockingbird by... Harper Lee.
ANNA
Do you have anything about
Countries, for Traveling you know?

WILLIAM
What country am I looking for?

ANNA
(thinking) Uhhh.. I don't really
know.. Maybe... Monaco?

WILLIAM
(finding) Monaco.. hmmm.. wait.. I'm
sorry Ma'am but we don't have
Monaco, is that even a country? But
we have Turkey if you're interested
in it---

ANNA
(interrupting) I'll have that.

WILLIAM
Okay! Turkey it is.. jeez. what's
the rush? Are you like running or
hiding something?

ANNA
(angrily) Did I mention earlier not
to ask "stupid" irrelevant
questions?-

WILLIAM
Okay! Okay! I'll shut up. Just chill
man. God-- but I do need to ask you
this.

ANNA
what?

WILLIAM
Your mobile number and complete
address.

ANNA
(shocked)(takes off her sunglass)
uhmm.. Excuse me?

WILLIAM
(sarcastically imitating) excuse
me??
Ma'am, I need your mobile number
because I'll send to you my bank
account so that you can pay your
book about Turkey and your address
so that I can send it to your house,
instead of your neighbors
(sarcastically smiling)

ANNA
Fair enough. It's (number) and my
address is (address).
While William is writing down Anna's number and address. He
instantly recognized her but he can't confirm it yet and
still confuse at the moment.

WILLIAM
Thank you, uhmm let me ask you
something.

ANNA
(sighs) what is that?

WILLIAM
Are you Anna Scott? The actress?

Anna was shocked instantly after she was recognized and was
afraid because she just gave her mobile number and complete
number.

ANNA
(Lying) No, why?

WILLIAM
No... (realizes) (shocked) OH MY
GOD! YOU'RE ANNA SCOTT!

William was so happy that he keep saying that he meets Anna

Scott and starts dancing awkwardly. Anna is starting to get
annoyed at his actions.

ANNA
Please, stop it-- hey! stop that
please. Stop it.... OKAY!! I'M ANNA
SCOTT ALRIGHT? JUST PLEASE STOP WHAT
YOU'RE DOING. OKAY?

William stopped but still amazed and stars trucked for what
he encountered today.

WILLIAM
You know what? I really love you and
everything you do. I always watch
your films. I admire you in those
movies like "Eat, Pray, Love"-"My
Best Friend's Wedding"- and my most
favorite of all. "Pretty Woman"
(sings the theme song) Oh! watch
this.

William suddenly imitates a scene from the film "Pretty

Woman" (1991) and Anna just watches him.

WILLIAM
You entered this shop and you were
like "Hi, Do you remember me? I was
here yesterday. You wouldn't wait on
me. You work on the commission
right?" and the saleslady is like
"yes". And you! (pointing at her)
you said. "Big mistake, Big. HUGE! I
have to go shopping now." And you
walked away, and in that moment you
are like the prettiest coolest
person in the world.

William giggles because he still can't believe that Anna

Scott is in front of her watching him doing a scene from her
films.

ANNA
Okay, enough with that. I just
really want to---
WILLIAM
You know what? I'm a big fan of
yours. Sooooo... there will be no
delivery charge. Because, I'll send
this book myself to you.
William realizing he has Anna Scott's real mobile number and
her complete address.
WILLIAM
Holy guacamole! I have Anna Scott's
real number and her freaking
complete address. Oh my gosh! This
is the best transaction I've had in
my life!

ANNA
Okay! okay! will you just please
call me? Let's end this meeting. I'm
getting tired and--- embarassed.

WILLIAM
(sarcastic) Oh no, I am definitely
gonna call Anna Scott with my phone.
OKAY! It was a pleasure doing
business with you "MA'AM"

William is still amazed in what happened just now. He still

can't believe that he met his crush in his online bookshop
and still in shock.

3 INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY 3

We're back to William's friends after telling them their

first meeting between him and Anna Scott.
WILLIAM
After that, I called her and then we
had some nice chit-chat. You know
her life is very interesting, being
that kind of actress is not easy.
There are so many projects like,
attending events and awards,
memorizing scripts, maintaining
diet, all that kinds of stuff you
know.
TESSA
But you did deliver the book to her
right?
WILLIAM
Yes I did, Tess. And---

KAREN
And what?
WILLIAM
She invited me inside for a cup of
coffee, and we talked and talked all
night, and then some-- kissing? and
after that.. I woke up, in her bed,
she's there right exactly beside me
sleeping, and we're naked.
BELLA
WHAT?!
JESS
FOR REAL?
WILLIAM
Yep.

TESSA

WILLIAM
Yep.
KAREN
Wait Will, are you in love with her?

Everyone pauses for a second including will who's hesitant to

answer the question.
WILLIAM
I don't know guys. I guess I am?

BELLA
William, It's only a question of yes
or no.

WILLIAM
Well, after that night. We did go
out for like every day. You all know
that Park in the front of the Mall
right?

JESS
Yes. But that's private and locked
up right? No one can enter there
because it is closed.

WILLIAM
Uh huh, not for her though. We
sneaked up one night because she
said she wants to go there. And I
think, that's the most memorable
night of my life guys. That moment,
I didn't see the "actress" Anna
Scott. What I saw there is the real
Anna Scott. To answer the question
Karen asked, YES. I am really in
love with the real Anna Scott. It's
not me fanboying anymore. This is
genuine and authentic feelings for
her.

TESSA
(amazed) Wow, that's romantic. I
think I'm in love with you O' Romeo.
WILLIAM
(laughs) shut up Tess.

KAREN

But I'm confused, why are you acting

like that? Like your heart was
crushed by Thor's hammer?
WILLIAM
Well last week, while we went out
for breakfast. A Paparazzi
recognizes and follows her and took
some photos---- WITH ME ON IT!
afterwards. Her agent called her
that photos of me and her are
circulating around the internet. She
was angry and upset after knowing
that. I told her to calm down and
she said that she came to me to
protect herself into some crazy
gossips. And added that that if
someone writes about her, they'll
dig up this photos for like
lifetime. (pauses)
BELLA
and?

WILLIAM
She said.... she said---- that..
she'll regret this, FOREVER.

Everyone pauses for a while.

JESS
Oh no, I'm sorry Will.
WILLIAM
Actually that's alright. Really. I'm
fine. It's good for her and for me
too, right? We were really never
meant for each other. She's and
actress, Me? I'm just a guy from
Notting Hill.
TESSA
Don't say that Will.-- You know
what? Tell us Where she is? and
we're gonna break that gorgeous face
of her.
Everyone stretches their bodies like they are getting ready
for a fight.

KAREN
yeah! come on will tell us where she
lives!

WILLIAM
I really appreciate the camaraderie
and braveness guys but don't bother,
she's in US right now. Filming her
next movie which is funny because I
helped her rehearse those lines.

BELLA
Really? Can you show us those scenes
you two rehearsed?

WILLIAM
OKAY! Well she didn't tell me the
next film she's been working on--
BUT! There was this line that I
cannot get out of my head because
when I said this to her, there was
part of me that I really meant it.
JESS
SHOW IT TO US PLEASE! let us see
that William actor side on!

WILLIAM
Okay!
JESS
3..2..1.. ACTION!
William imitates a scene from Pride and Prejudice (2005). The
part where Darcy confesses her true feelings to Elizabeth.

WILLIAM
"If, however, your feelings have
changed, I will have to tell you:
you have bewitched me, body and
soul, and I love, I love, I love
you. I never wish to be parted from
you from this day on."
TESSA
WOW-- THAT'S VERY ROMANTIC I'M GONNA
CRY.

Everyone laughs.
KAREN
So, Will. How are you today?

WILLIAM
To be honest guys. I'll be lying if
I tell you that I'm fine because I'm
not. But you know. I'll try.

We're here for you man.
JESS
We love you, Will.

WILLIAM
Thanks guys, I really appreciate it.
And I love you all too. I really do.
