The Mining Industry and The Use of
Cable Coupler Systems
In mining operations, surface or underground,
trailing cable/connector systems are typically
used to supply power to moveable equipment.
Where high voltage and large fluctuating currents
are used throughout the mine site, safety, eco-
nomics, and reliability are a priority.
Safety is very important while handling power
cables and the couplers that connect them. The
