Question Paper PHY C 302 Electrodynamics II

This document contains an internal examination for an electrodynamics course. The exam contains two questions - the first with multiple choice questions testing concepts like the interaction of electromagnetic waves with electrons and properties of plane waves. The second question asks students to calculate the pressure exerted by incident radiation on different surfaces, state and prove Poynting's theorem and its significance, and calculate electric field amplitudes for reflected and transmitted radiation at an interface. The exam tests fundamental concepts of electrodynamics and electromagnetic wave propagation.
