Advanced Features – Files on Demand
▪ Enables users to view, search for, and interact with
files stored in ODB from within File Explorer, without
downloading all the files to their device
▪ By default, files are downloaded only when you
need to access them
▪ If planning to access a file while disconnected →
choose Always keep on this device
Advanced Features – Files Restore
▪ If lots of your OneDrive files get deleted,
overwritten, corrupted, or infected by malware, you
can restore your entire OneDrive to a previous time
▪ It lets users restore files to any point over the past 30
days
▪ You can use this feature to quickly view your files’
modification history
Advanced Features – Recycle Bin
▪ Select the files or folders you want to restore by pointing to each item
and clicking the circle check box that appears, and then click Restore.
▪ In OneDrive for Business, items in the recycle bin are automatically
deleted after 93 days, unless the administrator has changed the setting
