When plugged into the RJ45, this will allow the technician to have access to
the drive internal values for troubleshooting. The connection for the CDC is
located under the compressor canopy.

the E-stop.
RJ45 connector is used for the Intelli Key
and the read only CDC.
Down for variable speed, and Up
for fixed speed.
The potentiometer is for setting the desired
pressure, by rotating Left or Right.
• Press the E-stop, remove compressor canopy
and then insert the Intelli Key.
2. Firmly press the Intelli Key once, wait one second and then
repeat this step again.
You will see a green light flash each time the Intelli Key is
pressed. The flash is confirming that the desired settings
have been successfully down loaded into the compressor.
The Intelli Key should now be removed.
3. The Unigy compressor now has the desired customized settings
and is now ready for operation. You will now, need to set the
desired pressure by rotating the potentiometer and select the
compressor fixed or variable speed with the toggle switch.
Check the E-stop position to ensure the E-stop has not been
depressed.
Look at the compressor display indicator to see if the compressor has

Rotate the potentiometer from left to right, the value you should read
is 97% or better when completely turned to the right. If the value is
less than 97%, replace the drive.
If the above checks are good, replace drive.
Check the incoming power supply and fuses to the blower motor.
Check for 24 volt DC power supply from the drive to the blower motor
relay when the start button is depressed. You will also see a red light
on the relays when the start button is depressed.
Blower motor will not
run With power off, see if blower will rotate freely by hand.
If the drive 24 volt DC output is not there, replace drive.
If you have the 24 volt DC to the relay and fuses are good then,
replace blower motor.

screen from anywhere in the menu after approx 15 seconds of inactivity. Pressing the button navigates
down through the following screens.
Time of Day Screen - Displays current time of day in 24 hour time.
Runtime Hour meter Screen - Displays the current number of hours the machine has run. The hourglass icon
will flash on and off when the compressor is running and remain on continuously when the compressor is not
running.
Runtime Maintenance Timer - Displays the percentage of time remaining until service should be
performed. (3000 machine run hours) The hourglass icon will flash on and off when the compressor is
running and on continuously when the compressor is not running.
Annual Maintenance Timer - Displays the percentage of time remaining until service should be
performed. (8760 hours) The hourglass icon will flash on and off when the compressor is running
and on continuously when the compressor is not running.
Package Discharge Pressure in PSI - Displays the Package Discharge Pressure in PSI. This can be made
the default screen by allowing the inactivity timer to time out (15 sec) while viewing this screen.
Package Discharge Pressure in Bar - Displays the Package Discharge Pressure in Bar. This can be made
the default screen by allowing the inactivity timer to time out (15 sec) while viewing this screen.
Package Discharge Pressure in kPa - Displays the Package Discharge Pressure in kPa. This can be made the
default screen by allowing the inactivity timer to time out (15 sec) while viewing this screen. Pressing
The button from this screen will scroll back to the top Power up / Default screen.
Configuration Menu
Pressing and holding the button for 3 seconds will enter the configuration menu. The following
screens can be viewed and manipulated. Exiting the configuration menu is accomplished by allowing

hours indication to the correct value. Press to store the new value. The minutes digits will begin to
flash and can be changed by following the same sequence as above. Pressing will store the minutes
value and toggle down to the next screen.
Pressure Calibration - Pressure Transducer calibration is accomplished by first making sure
there is NO pressure on the transducer, then pressing and holding the and the button
for approximately 5 seconds. The display will begin to flash 0 and the new Zero calibration value
will be stored. Press the button to exit the configuration menu and toggle down to the next
screen.
Maintenance Timer Reset - Both the Runtime and Annual Maintenance timers are reset by pressing
and holding both the and the buttons for approximately 5 seconds. The timers will reset to zero
