NOTE:
1. Must refer topic wise 6 years PYQ for each topic. Complete a topic , solve its PYQs , for both prelims and
Mains. This should be done in initial stages of preparation while studying together for prelims and Mains.
Believe me , questions might not repeat, topics and pattern do.
2. Test Series:
• PRELIMS- Vision IAS+ Insights/ Must solve 30-35 full length mock tests
• Mains- Vision IAS/ 16 Tests- joined after Prelims Result
3. Idea of using IAS BABA TLP is to learn transition from Pre to Mains in factual topics . Use this wherever
you feel weak in answer writing. It is free of cost and based on self analysis using synoptic solutions.
4. Use RSTV summaries for important topics in economics, Polity, Society for Mains Answer Writing. Just
see the playlist on youtube and select the important topics, identify the dates and read the summaries. Not to be
done for all the topics, only for the important ones, constantly in news. I found Byju's summary good and it is
free.
5. using Civils Daily: Used it for International Relations for Mains only. It has chronologically arranged current
affairs about diffrent countries. Just go through past 8 months stuff and write down additional info into Mains
365. Print one side blank for Mains 365 and use blank page for content enhancement using Civils Daily. Also, I

6. Answer Writing: First learn to write and then practice to write . Learnt using PYQ of Mains and practiced
through Vision IAS Test Series and IAS Baba TLP. Don't run behind the daily answer writing initiatives ,
specially during initial 4-5 months.
