Self-Introduction and class expectation

On August 9, 2021, I started my journey as a grade 12 senior high school


student. I. I am 17 years old and turning 18 this September. I would say that I am a bit
competitive but sometimes it would be too much and my emotions will lead to jealousy
and insecurity which is why I tend to be more positive and optimistic. For the past few
years I am starting to notice that I am slowly maturing, such as the things that I used to
love are not the same anymore and getting bored easily. I believe in the saying that
hard work pays off because in my opinion, people should strive to improve their lives
and be able to give their best. My professional aspiration is to become a medical doctor
but, I am still figuring out whether on what field of interest I should pursue in my college
years.

My expectation for this class is to have fun yet challenging activities, be able to
use the knowledge that I had learned, broaden my vocabulary, have an opportunity to
learn wholeheartedly and understand the different topics and concepts that will be
discussed, to know how important it is to learn English and be able to use it efficiently in
the future. By doing this hopefully it can improve my grammar, punctuation, and
spelling. Furthermore, I would appreciate having more references or examples on the
topics and have a feedback on what was the error in my submitted answer, with this I
can guide myself and achieve my goal. Lastly, I am hoping that despite this pandemic
where there are no usual face to face classes, that we will still have a successful school
year.
