sourds (CISS)
Q2. State the role of Physiotherapist .
Ans. Physiotherapy is an allied health care profession which promotes the health
and well being of all . It aims to help maximise movement and function when
someone is affected by injury, illness , developmental delay or other
disability.
The physiotherapist is concerned with the gross motor skills and mobility of a
child. In cases where there has been an obvious physical difficulty the child
will have been receiving support well before starting school.

fitness and wellness.

Ans. Occupational therapists are regulated health care professionals who work
with children in a variety of settings ,including schools . As children grow and
develop , they learn to do many things , including taking care of themselves ,
managing their school work , playing sports or developing a leisure interest
hobby . sometimes ,children have more problems than is typical for their age
with motor skills. This can make everyday activities a challenge to learn and
master.
Gross motor skills are necessary for stable posture , skipping , running ,
catching balls and riding a bike .

encourage Adaptive physical education like ; the International federation of
adapted physical activity ( IFAPA ) is a cross - disciplinary professional

sport, movement , and exercise science for individuals with disabilities.
IFAPA encourage international cooperation in the field of physical activity to

It assist and guides the international Special Olympics , Paralympics ,
Deaflympics .

Ans. Physical education teachers , commonly known as Physical training
instructor or P.E teachers , are responsible for the education of primary
And secondary school students in physical activity and psychomotor learning.
The physical education class was once little more than an organized recess

game play .Occupational therapist helps teacher and parents better
understand and helps these children succeed every day activities.

Special Olympics international was started by Kennedy Shariver .

exclusion of people with intellectual disabilities who were placed in custodial
institution as a routine .

Ans. Role of Counsellor :- A School counsellor helps children in all ways ,be it

to create healthy learning environment that makes them feel comfortable.
They also help to provide specific solutions to children with particular
problems.
Counsellor have special training in how to help kids solve problems and
queries , make decisions , and stand up for themselves .
School counsellor provide transition planning , career exploration ,
educational interventions , and other services for students with special needs
, and thus need academic and training experiences to ensure that they are
supporting success for this population.
