1.2 Connection from digital load cell to indicator
D2002E(A) is a weighing indicator. It can only connected to digital load cells made by KELI,
which is stated as “load cell” for easy description.
5-pin aviation male connector is used to connect load cells. The digram 1-2-1 shows the
meaning of each pin. The diagram 1-2-2 shows the connections of indicator, junction box and load
cells.

1.3 Connection from printer to indicator
The standard printer port is 25-pin, RS232. The meaning of each pin is as below diagram.
Note:
▲!The function of printing can only be used after successful setting.
▲!The ouput wire of printing port of indicator must be connected to pirnter correctly and must
use dedicated connecting wire. Uncorrect connection will damage the output port of indicator or
input port of printer, even damage the indicator or printer.
▲!Before using the printer, please connect the wire correctly, then start the power of printer, and
finally start-up the printer. When finishing using printer, please shut-down the printer first, then
shut the power of indicator, and finally disconnect the wire. If the order is not correct, the
indicator or printer may be damaged. Please take care!
▲!Because there are many types of printer, their characteristics may be different. Please use the
printers recommended above if possible.
▲!The printer must be earthed well. Otherwise the indicator or printer may be damaged.

1.4 Connection between remote display and indicator
The output wire of indicator should be connected to remote display correctly. Wrong
connection may cause damage to output port of indicator or input port of remote display, even
cause damage to the indicator or remote display. It is require to use dedicated connectiong wire.
The output port for remote display is 15-pin DB socket. The meaning of each pin is as below
diagram.

▲ !The output wire of indicator should connected to PC correctly. Wrong connection may cause
damage to output port of indicator or input port of PC, even cause damage to indicator, PC or its
peripherals.
▲ ! Acknowledge of computer technology and computer programming is required. The
commnunication from indicator to PC should be done or supervised by skilled personnels.
Non-professional people is not allowed to connect.

Chapter 2 Calibration and adjusting
Note:
1. The word “load cell” in this manual all refers to standard digital load cell.
2. To carry on calibration and adjusting, the calibration switch must be in ON position. Under
normal weighing status, please move the calibration switch to OFF position.
3. Rules for operation
A: Press【ENTER】to confirm the input.
B: Press【CHECK】to enter into next parameter setting.
C: Press【#】to return to sup menu or previous parameter setting.
D: Press【$】enter into corresponding operation if branch exists.
E: Press【WEIGH】to return to weighing status.
F: Press【!】or【"】to select function or verify the next one.
G: Ilegal parameters can not be input. Because of limitation of the range of parameters, some
numbers can be input and the indication is【Err 17】.
H: The samples in this manual are factory settings.
4. When【C000000】is displayed, please enter calibration password. After entering the password
and before the shut-down of indicator, it is permitted to do calibration, ajusting and parameter
setting. When calibration, adjusting and parameter setting are finished, please restart the indicator.
2.1 Adjusting
The adjusting consists of four procedures – changing address, networking, adjusting corner,
calibration. The indicator supports 3 types of combination of load cells – C-type load cell, E-type
load cell, and mixture of C-type and E-type.
Procedure of adjusting is as below (Take 8 load cells for example. Move the calibration
switch to ON position.)
Procedure 1: Changing address.
For E-type load cells, please refer to 2.2 automatic addressing and networking (procedure 1
and procedure 2 can be skipped)
When changing address, please move the calibration switch to ON position and each time
only ONE load cell can be connected. Refer to 1.2 for wiring.
