Future Events
Instructions
To be evaluated in this unit it a Word document has to be created (Word/Word
pad/Open Office) with at least 21 sentences, as well as a 150word paragraph
original composition (mainly in future tenses). This assignment is divided into two
parts and to work out these two, it is necessary to revise both virtual classes from
unit 1 English III course.
Part 1
Go to Virtual class (Lesson 1) then open the "future” submenu, and choose the
"Practice” slide: from each image you have to construct 3 sentences, using future
tense with the auxiliary will. 7 images times 3 sentences = 21 sentences (7
affirmative, 7 interrogative & 7 negative ones).
1.- He – Dream
o Affirmative: He will dream to going with go to the
beach with your parents.
o Interrogative: Will he dream of his toys, drinking
milk or his parents?
o Negative: He will not dream of anything, only to
be able to sleep in peace.
2.- I – Camp
o Affirmative: Once spring comes, I will camp at "la
media Luna" there in San Luis Potosi.
o Interrogative: Will I camp at "La Laguna Hanson" next
winter?
o Negative: I will not camp in "Las Grutas de Tolantongo"
because I prefer to camp in "La Huasteca Potosina"
3.- We – Get Fit
o Affirmative: We will get in shape over the next several
months to stay healthy during the pandemic.
o Interrogative: Will we get in shape before the
wedding?
o Negative: We will not get in shape just by going to the
gym, we need to go to the nutritionist.
4.- It (The Weather) – Is Cloudy
o Affirmtive: The forecast says that tonight it will be
very cloudy, so if you intend to go for a walk, do not
forget to bring your umbrella.
o Interrogative: Will it be too cloudy to go out to play
soccer with my friends?
o Negative: Today the sky is clear so it won't cloud.
5.- Ther – Stay Awake
o Affirmative: They left work at dawn, so they will stay
awake most of the night.
o Interrogative: Will my nephews stay awake enough to
see a movie tonight?
o Negative: They won't stay awake because last night
they stayed playing "Warzone".
6.- You – Meditate
o Affirmative: You will leave the classroom to be
able to meditate
o Interrogative: Will you meditate on the problems
in your life, in the healthiest way possible to solve
them?
o Negative: Today you will not go out to meditate
because at that time we are going to go to your cousins' house
7.- She – Study Abroad
o Affirmative: She will win a scholarship to be able to
study university abroad.
o Interrogative: Will she study a master's degree
abroad?
o Negative: You will not study for the exam because
you do not want to go abroad.
