I have had family members and friends who have battled with this addiction.

I want to research this


addiction so that I can learn how a person can overcome this type of addiction. Any addiction is hard to
break it is going to take a lot of will power from the addict in order for them to be set free of this
addiction.

You never know what could have pushed the addict into becoming a drug addict. I want to be able to
relate to an addict whether it is a friend, family member or just someone in general whom I would want
to be able to help them overcome this addiction. Drug addiction is the most common addiction and I
feel that if we get the proper research on how to give treatment to an addict then maybe their chances
of becoming free will be greater.

THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND 1.1 Introduction Internet addiction is a kind of behavioral
addiction in which a person is being addicted or dependent in using the internet. Internet addiction is a
problem which cause of the different behavior of a person. This problem has an effect in a person’s
emotional behavior, attitudes and the discipline.

Drug Addiction The topic that caught my attention when I was reading my choices was “Drug Addiction”.
Drug addiction is something that should not be taken lightly by anyone who has a family member or
friend with this issue. We often wonder how and what make people turn into being a drug addict. “Drug
addiction is rooted in long-term adaptations within the brain that promotes escalating drug use,
difficulty quitting, and relapse—all despite the awareness of negative consequences.” With that being
said I have always wondered what keep a person going back to their addiction and why can’t they quit.

Here you will find that sexual addiction is a sin. That fantasy, pornography and masturbation are building
block behaviors. The types of sexual addiction: cyber, prostitution, rape and incest etc. Understanding
and identifying characteristics of sexual addiction. Part 2: The Roots of Sexual Addiction (how and why)
sexual addiction happens.

In his book Dr. Laaser examines what he calls the building blocks behaviors that begin the cycle that
leads to sexual addiction, and the family dynamics that contribute to sexual addiction. The sexual
addiction in the church is addressed along with how the church can recover. Healing the Wounds of
Sexual Addiction Healing the Wounds of Sexual Addiction written by Dr. Mark Laaser (2004) analyses
sexual addiction from a Christian world view.

Delimitation, this study does not cover about the meaning of internet addiction, it also does not cover
about the kinds of internet addiction and also does not covers about the life of the people affected by
the internet addiction. This research is limited only to the effects to the people of youth today and to
the people affected by internet addiction. The researcher also limited this study to people with concerns
to know about the effects of this problem to the people and especially those who want to know more
about the effects of internet addiction to their lives.

Specific Purpose: To persuade my audience that actions need to be taken to stop the addiction to social
networking. Thesis Statement: Being too addicted to social networking can cause some serious
problems, so it is necessary to stop it. Main Points: ?.Addiction to social networking has caused serious
problems.

When it came down to the methods used it was based on interviews within the first study with rich,
personal experienced addicts. After the results it show that people living with addiction struggles with as
long as it is existing within them. This study is talking about giving addicts their choice of drug for a
variety of reasons.
