Computer Software Based online clearance system is an
internet base researchwork that will help build an effective
information management for schools. It isaimed at developing a
computer software system that replaces the manualmethod of
clearance for graduating students. The designed software will
serve asa more reliable and effective means of undertaking
students clearance, remove all forms of delay and stress as well
as enable you to understand the procedureinvolved, as well as
how to do your clearance online. This project work makes useof
data collection from the university, materials and journals from
various authorsand the software was developed to effectively
achieve the aim of the project.

Chapter 1: Introduction

Clearance processing is critical for determining whether


students and faculty members have met the school’s
requirements. Processing clearance in the traditional manner
requires a pen and paper approach, which is time-consuming,
error-prone, and difficult to validate signatures. Academic
institutions need a method for processing clearances that is
both time-efficient and guarantees the integrity and
consistency of the clearance.
” Clearance Processing System for Students and Faculty,” is a
web and mobile-based application that students and faculty
can use to process clearances. The system is designed to make
the process easier while also ensuring the integrity and
accuracy of clearances.

Purpose and Description

Online clearance system will build an effective information


management that is very convenient to use for schools since
it is internet based and can be accessed from anywhere. It is
aimed at developing a computer software system that replaces
the manual method of clearance for graduating students and
that also help students to carry out their clearance without
coming to the various offices for clearance. The designed
software will serve as a more reliable and effective means of
undertaking students clearance, remove all forms of delay and
stress as well as enable you to understand the procedure
involved, as well as how to do your clearance online.
Objective of the project

the primary goal of this project is to eliminate the manual


method of processing clearances and replace it with an
automated method.

Significance of the project

The system will help them save physical effort in processing


their clearance. All they need to do is to apply for clearance
using the system.
Faculties. This will lessen their work in processing loads of
students’ clearances.
Researchers. The researcher of this project will also be
benefited by gaining additional knowledge and skills in
developing responsive application.
Future Researchers. They can use the study as the basis if they
also wish to design and develop a clearance processing system.
Output of the project is very important to the next batch of
researchers. Documents and source code of this project will
serve as their guide and reference.
Scope And Limitation

1. To design a system that will automate clearance


processes.
2. The capstone project aims to develop a system that will
eliminate pen and paper approach in clearance processes.
3. This project would develop a system will eliminate the
possibility of human errors in processing clearances.
4. To design a system that is time consuming and will validate
signatures.
5. Output of the study is subject for the testing and
evaluation purposes.
1. To determine the overall performance of the system.
2. Establish the acceptability of the end-users.
6. Design a project that will store the records properly and in
organize manner using the database technology.
7. To develop a system that is easy to operate and should be
completed within a short period of time and must fit with
the budget of the end-user.
