Training Program Proposal
Safety Related Need
A review was conducted of the facility's current training approaches, including continuing
associate developments, onboarding, and reoccurrences of courses to assist the associates who
want to benefit from the elective course developed to enhance safety at the site and leadership.
After the review, it was realized to be a unique approach that should meet and exceed regulatory
needs in several cases. Some of the health and safety issues that require consideration during this
program include protecting the eyes from blue light effects. This health concern can occur due to
the straining of an individual eye lens while observing or reading objects through bleu rays or a
computer’s LCD. Another issue is the prevention of back pains. This might occur because using
computers will involve individuals sitting for long hours during the training, resulting in neck,
back pains, and lower back fatigue. Finally, the training environment safety is also another safety
concern, including poor air circulation and noise prevention (Kahilainen & Bergman, 2018). The
following resources will be significant in addressing the above issues:
i. Blues-light blockages of the glasses will help prevent the side effects of the blue rays
from computer screen lighting. The trainers and learners will have to wear glasses as
they work on their computers.
ii. Proper structuring of chairs; will ensure that the trainers and learners have supported
their backbone. This will ensure that the straining of the backbone is prevented,
reducing back pains. Also, the training program will be carried in well-ventilated
rooms for free circulation of fresh air.
3
The objectives of the training will be equipping the employees with basic computer
components information and ensuring to learn how to apply computer software in the daily
operations.
Designing an Adult Participants focused Training using Activity-based Learning
Concept
I am proposing a program that will be focused on an awareness level investigations program
that will ensure that each associate is given foundation-based expectations and the best way
possible that will allow them to be helpful whenever something occurs. This program's primary
goals and objective will be to develop knowledgeable organization associates with the ability to
preserve evidence, assist the organization in gathering witness statements, and know what to do
in case of an incidence or when there is a near-miss occurrence. Each of the organization's
associates will have the best skills to perform preliminary investigations and communicate the
collected information to the next investigative leadership or authorities for determinations and
assessments. The primary goal of an incident investigation is usually to ensure that all the
stakeholders can learn a lesson, which plays a vital role in ensuring that such incidences do not
occur again (Aggarwal, 2020).
Resources, Materials, References
This training approach will involve the incorporation of documentations, historic incidences,
and evidence associated with it, which will ensure researching and enhancing learning from
various incidences. Where the associated incidences will have been successful in preventing the
incidence's reoccurring because of the proper actions taken and investigations, students will be
able to expand their knowledge and trust what they are being taught. For instance, a well-
managed firm will always insist on having quality incidence investigation programs. The
4
participants will be forced to carry out an investigation concerning a previous incidence at the
site and also review the conclusions of each other (Aggarwal, 2020). The following materials
will be useful in the development of the training materials:
i. Lovell, R. et at 1984, Adult learning
ii. Internet sources such as Adult education and literacy -a manual

Delivery of the Course
Before starting the first class, the organization will have to incorporate this program into its
current policies what and when it should be expected to its various levels of the training
(Aggarwal, 2020). This will enhance its definition of the awareness levels and its delivery in the
onboarding processes and annually, at its minimum. The refresher may include a computer-based
program, which will have a significant role in ensuring that every employee of the organization
has a role in maintaining evidence and how should behave in a particular manner in case of an
incidence such as gathering witness statements. This implies that the employees will be
collecting information and piercing it to find the cause of the incidence and have the authority to
mitigate the hazards at higher levels. Primarily, the training program will occur in classrooms.
Still, it will also include historical occurrences, where the participants could request in-person to
5
get the complete scopes of the particular operations that were ongoing during the incidence
occurrence (Thornberry et al., 2021).
Furthermore, I would ensure that I have a wallet card that triggered the particular steps,
which must be taken to ensure that every employee refers to. The training class for this program
will include power points, pens, notepads, case studies, and videos. Also, the completion of the
course will include a knowledge assessment and presentation to enhance the learners'
understanding of the materials. The participants will be evaluated using an evaluation sheet.
Evaluation Method
As stated above, a knowledge assessment will be the last part marking the end of this class,
where every participant will be required to pass with a 90 percent as the minimum pass mark
(Thornberry et al., 2021). The learners will be required to pass the following test items by
providing the correct responses:
i. Gathering and completing investigations
ii. Putting together a presentation on a given incidence including elements of investigations
such as causes and prevention strategies
iii. Observing and making recommendations for an improvement
iv. Making internal and external recommendations
v. Accessing the learners' ability to write reports about a given incidence.
