3.0 Reflective Report Essay

When I received this assignment, the first thing I did was prepare a timeline
for when I should finish the project and when I would be filming a video, and when I
would be editing the video. If I don't make time, my video completion will be postponed. I
need almost a week to thoroughly study my subject, flexible working hours during MCO
period from various sources, such as journals, papers, websites and more. The next step
was to record a video until the test was completed.

Before recording the video, I planned very well on searching various

locations to select a location to shoot the video but due to the Conditional Movement
Control Order (CMCO), most venues were closed so I prefer to record the video in my
house where it will be easier to handle the camera and provide clear and detailed speech
without any hassle. I recorded this video using Sony Camera and recorded my voice using
my phone so that the sound could be heard better. On a good day, the recording began and
it took about 2 hours to complete the recording as there were many errors during the
presentation as the most important speech flow when giving a talk. Apart from that, not
only will our speech attract our audience as it will irritate our audience and hide that,
creativity and innovation are very important in this work as it will build more engagement
between the audience and can be done by showing more photos, charts, videos, camera
angles, editing video and much more. There is no use of giving a talk without getting the
attention of the audience and our ingenuity and creativity will attract them and our talk
will help many and benefit many.

3
I showed this video to a friend of mine and got a little help from her. The
answer was that my speech was descriptive but needed to be clarified from the details of
the flexible working hours with various videos on graphs and charts. By providing a
detailed explanation, it will give the audience a clearer explanation of flexible working
hours. The following response has been selected for video recording. They suggested that
the area should be different and needed more hygiene and more abroad to go abroad. By
choosing a good location, it will attract the attention of the audience and will greatly
appeal to the eyes of the audience who will never have their eyes removed from our video.
The next answer is about my speech. They suggested that my speech was clearer and
better used with English words and phrases. There are a few grammatical errors in speech
and there is a slight slip of the tongue that makes my speech unsteady. The last answer I
had to practice more to correct my slang for giving a speech in English by reading a lot of
articles, magazines and articles that will improve my slang in the right way and will
benefit me in the future if I have to give any talk and also suggest speaking in English to
colleagues, family and friends daily of speaking English which will improve my
proficiency in speaking the English language which will build a good reputation in the
community.

I think my presentation was straightforward and orderly but when I

watched this video, I found that I wanted to focus more on the rhythm of the speech and
find better ways to reach the audience. My posture and eye contact were good, but I still
need to focus on the frequency of my name, such as allowing multiple breaks to allow the
audience to "digest" the information posted and not feel overwhelmed by the amount of
information at a fast pace. I think I overreact to my hand movements and it’s something I
need to change. This video recording job is very beneficial for me as this work makes my
brain work harder by creating new and constructive ideas to complete the task. Somehow,
by making this video talk, it allows us to look at our talk which gives us a lot of advice,
comments and feedback in our speech and the video itself helps me a lot in improving my
speech. Video recording is highly recommended as it will engage us and will enable us to
create more new ideas when I create my speech and this task is very simple as it will not
disturb the public and by doing this work, we get a lot of information on computer use and
software used for that.

4
I have learned a lot from this video presentation I need to organize my main
points quickly and present them easily. Each key argument should be backed up with
successful support points and definitions to make it easier for the viewer to interpret. The
steps I will take to strengthen this goal are to create a complete program of speech and
practice over and over again so that time does not make me lose my time. Other than that,
I need to increase my speaking ability. I prefer to communicate easily and take a short or
short break in between so the crowd can better understand me. This can only be achieved
through training sessions and the opportunity to select only relevant issues. Finally, there
is hand control. Seeing me on video, let me know that I use my hands a lot when I make a
speech and it can distract the viewers. My hand gestures need a lot of focus and how to
improve them by recording them whenever I make a speech and analyze them as
something I do unintentionally. There are probably a lot of things that need to be changed,
and I'm sure I can include these improvements in the future. The benefits of video
recording we can edit or re-shoot if we miss any points and re-record and capture our
voice and what was wrong was video quality, video brightness and when reading texts, it
was a big challenge as I remembered the texts and some I stuck to the wall to give clear
speech without errors.

All in all, I agree that I have many skills such as being able to communicate
without stress or too much anxiety to think fast and prevent mistakes without getting
upset, and to convey my message with effective voice guesses and facial expressions. The
key areas of change will be to reach the audience while they can respond directly to my
voice, use a few facial expressions and gestures, speak at a moderate pace and make
acceptable pauses and unnecessary filling in conversation.
