Review: Cite a Policy of Sports program in your chool which you consider plays a role to
retain athletes in the organization.
- The most suited policy of every school that I’ve seen so far is the maintenance of the
General Weighted Average (GWA) in order to qualify in becoming an athlete. By
prioritizing the students academics while performing sports is important to make sure a
balanced career of student. And also it would not be hard for either of the professors or
coaches to adjust schedules. There would be equal distribution of efforts from the student
and equal efforts from faculty and coaches.

AWARDING
ALL EVENTS 1:30-4:00 PM DEC. 8, 2020
c. Eligibility of the Participants
- TEAM GAMES
The number of players for a team using substitutes may not exceed the standard number
of players needed to play the game. For example, a basketball team may use substitutes
as needed but only to field a team of five.
Substitutes may only be used in the regular season. Only players officially rostered to a
team may participate in playoffs.
Substitutes must abide by all existing eligibility rules. Note: Eligibility Rule, Article 10
still applies, substitutes for residence hall, fraternity, and sorority teams must be members
of their respective units.
- INDIVIDUAL GAMES
For an individual to be eligible for the playoffs, they must be an officially rostered player
(substitutes are not allowed) and meet all other eligibility requirements.
An individual/team must compete against an opponent and/or the clock to receive an
award (trophy and/or t-shirt).
Professional athletes will be restricted in the same manner as collegiate lettering athletes.
An athlete is deemed to be professional when they sign a contract and receives
compensation with any organized professional or semi-professional team.

d. Awards
- The winners will receive a medal from runners-up to champions but only the champions
are the one who will have trophy’s and cash price
e. Point System
- Badminton
- Every time you win a rally, you get a point. Starting from zero, the first person to reach 21
points wins the game. In club badminton, this is usually where you stop and choose players for
the next game.
- Basketball
1. If a shot is successfully scored from outside of the three-point line, three points are
awarded.
2. If a shot is successfully scored from inside of the three-point line, two points are
awarded.
3. If a team is awarded a technical foul then they will receive between one and three
free shots. Each shot scored will be awarded with one point.
- Sepak Takraw
The serving Regu is awarded a point when it hits the ball in bounds that the opponent
can’t return within three touches or when the opponent hits the ball out of bounds.
Either side can score a point on any serve, but the Regu that wins a point will get the
next serve.
The opponent is awarded a point, whenever the serving or receiving Regu commits a
fault.
Each game consists of two sets. The winning point for a set is 21 points.
In an event of a tie score at 20-20, the set shall be decided on a difference of two
points, up to a ceiling of 25 points.
The Regu that wins two sets first will be the winner of the match.
- Volleyball
Games are played until a team hits 25 points and at least has a two point lead to win the
set. Most games has five sets, so to win a team must have won three out of five sets. The
last set goes up to 15 points and a team must have a two point lead to win the set. With
sideout scoring, all sets are played up to 15 points and the team must at least have a two
point lead. Some organizations say that the first team to win 17 points wins the set, so in
this case the two point margin is not needed.
- Table Tennis
A game is won by being the first player to win 11 points, and be at least 2 points ahead of
his or her opponent. If both players have won 10 points, then the first player to get a 2
point lead wins the game. A match is the best of 5 games. The score begins at 0-0, and
the server will serve first.

g. Promotional Strategies
- Be Present on Social Media
Social media is ubiquitous. Today, almost everyone is a member of at least one platform.
I mean, I’m friends with my mom on Facebook. That should really say it all.
Besides their wide reach, what’s great about social networks is that pretty much all of
them are free to use. As a consequence they present an inexpensive way for team
promotion.
Social media platforms allow fans to have a direct connection to their favorite team,
interact with players and club members as well as receive important news and updates.
Facebook is by far the biggest social network out there. That means there is plenty of
opportunity to create conversations around your club, promote events and publish news.
By establishing a dedicated Facebook team page you give fans and followers a way of
interacting with you.
The platform also makes it easy for existing followers to like and share anything you post
to your page, thereby increasing the reach of your content.
However, what can you share with your followers? Here are a few ideas:
Game results, images and videos from competitions
Questions, trivia and polls
Behind-the-scenes updates
Video messages from players
Team or sports-related contests and giveaways
