EXCERPTS FROM THE MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE LOCAL YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
COUNCIL OF PAGUDPUD, ILOCOS NORTE, HELD ON AUGUST 25,2021 AT 2:00 AT THE SANGGUNIANG
KABATAAN OFFICE.

MUNICIPAL RESOLUTION NO. 2021- 01
“A RESOLUTION ASSIGNING THE LOCAL YOUTH DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL OF PAGUDPUD ILOCOS
NORTE TO THEIR RESPECTIVE COMMITTEE ASSSIGNMENTS”
WHEREAS, Section The Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) – A multi-sectoral youth
association, which shall be called, Municipal Youth Development Council (MYDC), respectively,
headed by the concerned SK Pederasyon President and composed of representatives of youth
and youth-serving organizations in the provincial, city, and municipal level;
Whereas,The LYDC shall be composed of at least ten (10) but not more than twenty-one (21)
members including the two (2) core members from the SK.
Whereas,The two (2) core members shall be composed of the president and the vice-president
of the concerned Pederasyon and shall be supported by at least eight (8) but not more than
nineteen (19) other representatives from registered youth organizations or youth serving
organizations, provided that all other incumbent SK officials shall not be eligible as member of
the LYDC.
Whereas, The LYDC shall discharge the following duties and functions: (1) Serve as the core of
the advocacy on youth participation in nation-building and youth empowerment; (2) Finalize the
three (3) year LYDP that is anchored in the PYDP and the development plans of the local
government units.
WHEREAS, the individual Local Youth Development Council are to be assigned as Chairmen, Vice –
Chairmen and Members of the different committees based on their expertise and specialization;
WHEREAS, the assignment of Members of Local Youth Development Council is necessary to aid in the
smooth flow of passing legislative measures and enactment of resolutions and ordinances in their
proper perspective.
NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Kosy Jean Tabangcura duly seconded by Jurewell Hernandez
RESOLVED, as by this resolution it is hereby resolved to assign the Local Youth Development Council of
Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte to their respective committee assignments, to wit;
