REALIZATION, INSIGHT AND LEARNINGS

your thoughts on how are you going to contribute to the solution of the problem you identified.
Student’s Answer:

One of the main issues that are still experienced by many people as of today is the lack of
having a decent work wherein, they are experiencing a hard time to catch up and to
maintain their needs. The goal number 8 or the decent work and economic growth only
want to promote a sustainable growth and decent work for all. This protects the labor
rights and to stop the modern slavery and child labor that up until still valid to these days.
This goal wants to aim and promote a decent job to everyone to get rid of the poverty and
to help in sustaining the economic growth of the country.

As I studied this goal number 8, I notice that it is like the Philippines where more than a
half of Filipinos do not have a decent job that results in poverty. Now that we are still amid
Pandemic, many people do not have capability to back to work due to the restrictions and
having a hard time to cope up. Indeed, we still have child laboring which is very sad to
think that at a very young age they already experienced it rather than go to school. So,
what is the best way solution for this? As a student I think this goal number 8 will protect
all the workers and to maintain their needs by promoting decent jobs for them. Having a
decent job will benefit the country’s economic growth.

As a student, having some knowledge with the problem of the country’s can be solve as
long there will be a support from the government. If we promote job creating and
expanding it for all, we can make sure that everybody gets the benefits to protect he
every family that are financially unstable and for the economic growth of the country.
