Rules to solve Cryptarithmetic problems:

Rule 1:
Each letter takes only one number from 0 to 9.

Rule 2:
Carryover can be
 Max. 1 when we add 2 numbers,
 Max. 2 when we add 3 numbers,
 Max. 3 when we add 4 numbers, etc.
Cryptarithmetic

Rule 3:
The first letter of any word cannot have the value of 0.

Rule 4:
• If A & B are unit digits, and A + B = A, then B = 0.
• If A & B are other than unit digits, and A + B = A, then the value of
B is 0 or 9.

Rule 5:
In addition of 2 numbers with n digits, if the result is n+1 digits, then the
left most digit must be 1.
