● The Grid model because it clearly defined the various personas of a leader and also

● 9,1 style as it is much more observed in corporations.

The factors that drive behaviours in an individual, and are responsible for reinforcing or
diminishing his/her behaviours. More than experiences, the root cause for these would
be social norms and customs, which in turn are shaped by social structures, in my
opinion.

4. What are some insights/ learning for you as a professional/ budding professional that
either reinforce or provide new direction to your leadership style?
• The different leadership styles also allow for a clear view of how leadership is perceived by
real-life leaders and which aspects they may be lacking in. In that sense, the model can serve
as a guide for how to exercise leadership as well as how not to.
• Learning about various management styles and behavior/beliefs made me realise that no two
individuals/leaders behave in a similar manner when a situation is thrown at them.
• It is difficult to choose a certain style when there is a chance that both might be successful in
achieving the desired results.

5. Where can you apply the learning/ insights in your life?

• The elements of leadership can be applied in various aspects of corporate life and regular life
which distinguishes us from the others in certain aspects leading us to gain much more respect
and admiration.
• Also understanding the various leadership styles will help us evaluate what style we need to
take over for a specific situation in order to control certain situations.
