Eye - Wash Instructions

Eyewash stations should be installed in areas with chemical risks and kept clear of debris. If chemicals contact the eye, guide the injured person to the eyewash and pull down the arm to spray the eyes for at least 15 minutes without pause. After rinsing, seek medical treatment and check that portable eyewashes have adequate water flow through periodic inspections and tank cleaning.

EYE WASH INSTRUCTION

- Installation:
o It should be placed on open area where there
risk of harm on the eye.
o It must be place anywhere dealing with
Chemical (Crude oil, defoamer, Demulsifier…).
o It must be free of dust or any debris.
- Usage:
o After occur accident (eye contact with any kind
of chemicals), must guide IP to the nearest
place of eyewash installation immediately,
avoid long time to not wash.
o Pull down eye wash arm placidly, so open to
spray.
o When wash eyes, open eyes wholly, sufficient
wash, the wash time is not less than 15 minutes.
o After wash, need medical treatment forward,
need to check with doctor.
NOTES:
o Portable Eyewash should be check periodically,
look at water flow if minify and need water.
o Need to adopt preventive action to prevent
water tank’s pollution (periodic clean of tank
from dust or debris).
