3.2 MANAGEMENT TEAM


General Manager
The owner of the farm will assume the role of the general manager and will also act as
the personal manager. He will have a direct control of all the operations of the farm. The
manager has acquired knowledge and skills of administering a business and managing
staff.

3.2.1 RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES


RESPONSIBITIES
 Day to day management of the farm and its team
 Maintaining safe working practices
 Managing and motivating staff
 Planning for production increase
 Ensuring all aspects of running the farm are met
 Create good communication within and outside the business world.
 Applying healthy and safety standards across the farm
 Planning activities for trainee staff, mentoring and monitoring them.

DUTIES
 He will oversee the decision making in the farm
 Responsible for hiring of new staff in the farm
 Ensure that set goals and objectives of the farm are achieved in time
 Ensure that the farm activities comply with government regulations.

3.2.2 SALES MANAGER


QUALIFICATIONS
 Diploma in sales and marketing
 A minimum of 2 years professional in marketing of chickens products
 Must be well acquainted with latest trends in sales and marketing
 Must be aged between 20-30 years and should be computer literate
 Ability to work both in a team and individual

RESPONSIBILITIES
 Exploring new markets, managing sales operation independently.
 Establishing distribution network and to achieve desired goals by managing the sales
team
 Planning and scheduling salesman assignment to achieve sales target.
 Developing good relation with business partner for attaining preset sales target.
