Anylogic Certification Project Guidelines

This document outlines two assignments for students - A and B. Assignment A asks students to simulate a linear construction project using Anylogic software. It lists 5 expected deliverables and their point distribution totaling 25 points. Assignment B asks students to simulate the system dynamics of launching a startup in India using Anylogic. It lists 5 expected deliverables for this assignment and their point distribution also totaling 25 points. The document concludes with dos and don'ts for the assignments.

A: Expected deliverables and marks distribution [25]

1. Problem statement – clearly defining the problem undertaken, your

objectives to perform simulation and expected results. [5]
2. Data justification – values and figures used in the simulation
summarizing how you obtained/would obtain those figures in real
world. [2]
3. Activity cycle diagram from Anylogic. [10]
4. Simulation outputs and your observations. [5]
5. Demonstration of better understanding of the Anylogic software.
[3]

B: Lets STARTUP (SD)

Explore the System Dynamics of launching a startup in India. It must be a
technology startup (emerging tech, new tech or remarketing of existing tech)

Things to try:
1. Simulate the SWOT in Casual loop diagrams.
2. Stock flows – for customers, materials, money, etc.
3. Marketing strategies and impacts.

Submission:
1. Anylogic simulation
2. Ppt with expected deliverables

summarizing how you obtained/would obtain those figures in real
world. [2]
3. CLDs and Stock flow diagrams for system and/or sub-systems. [10]
