By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to


1) Identify the strong beats while listening to Tinikling music.
2) Clap the strong beats and tap the weak beats along with Tinikling music.
3) Perform the bamboo poles routine, keeping a steady beat, together in time with the
music.

2) Students to practise the dance steps
with the bamboo poles stationary on
the floor.
3) Divide the class into 2 groups -
Bamboo players and Dancers
4) Give them time for practice
separately.
5) Only combine the 2 groups when
they are confident of the timing and
actions required.
