Wena Mae F. Cristobal completed a 20-day internship through the Special Program for the Employment of Student (SPES). Each day she cleaned the office, watered plants, assisted visitors, and participated in community clean-up events. The experience helped develop her work skills and professionalism. It also allowed her to earn income over the summer while contributing to her community. The barangay kapitan affirmed that the SPES program financially and personally benefited youth like Cristobal.

The experience of being SPES Beneficiary made us work ready and it molded out attitude to
become a reliable, productive, and trustworthy servant of the community. This 20-days summer job
developed our intellectual capacities and our skill. I also learned a lot from different people as I
observed their different personalities in the workplace.

This program is a big help for a youth like me, not only financially but also on my character.
