RescoCast 17A Product Overview

RescoCast 17A is a high-purity, low-iron, low-silica hydraulic castable for high-temperature applications up to 1870°C. It has less than 0.1-0.2% iron and silica, making it suitable for reducing atmospheres. It offers high cold crushing strength between 9000-14000 psi at temperatures up to 1510°C, low permanent linear change between -0.1 to -1.5% at temperatures up to 1510°C, and erosion loss less than 12.0 cc. It is also available as a gunning grade formulation for uniform application with minimum rebound loss.
