STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

____ from PAKISTAN, an Agriculture country where 70% labor force


is involved in agriculture. I want to flourish this field in Pakistan with
modern and latest agricultural techniques like in the same way as in
American countries or UK countries. I always proved myself in
educational field as well as Extra Curricular field. Being topper of my
university with 3.98 CGPA out of 4.00,I got TALENT TRIBUTE
Award.. Being familiar with computer skills, strong communication
skills, strong leadership skills as well as experience gained as I had
worked on different university projects like Evaluation of growth habits
of plants under Abiotic and Biotic stress conditions, Identification of
miRNA in Solanaceae family through Bioinformatic tools , helped me
in developing sharp analytical abilities and also encourage me in
tackling advanced problems at macro level. I am looking forward for
applying all my abilities to the available immense opportunities that are
being made available with a masters degree at your prestigious
institution.
In this very challenging and changing environment, I am planning to
contribute by evolving optimal and meaningful solutions to different
problems in the field of plant sciences. In Pakistan where there is a lot of
biotic and abiotic stress problem ,My goal is to find out permanent
remedy for all stressesfaced by crop plants in Pakistan. I want to
accomplish a career in theoretical as well as practical research soI could
further enhance my analytical approaches to the field of plant sciences
and Agriculture. In Pakistan, a major problem of pollen allergy is
moving number of people to the death bed. I planned to root out this
problem by developing such an anti pollen spray or some sort of gene
inhibitor chemical that knock out allergy causing genes at an early stage
or by inducing gene silencing.
In order to achieve these goals, I have to learn more regarding current
techniques and developments in plant sciences, Genomics, cell and
molecular biology, bioinformatics etc and obtain hands-on experience
breeding and genetic analysis. I believe that I can do this by means of a
Master’s degree which will give me theoretical understanding, along
with an in-depth idea of the practical approaches involved in aiding
managerial decision making as well as research skills which can allow
me to develop expertise in the core features of environmental strategies
as well as global corporate plant techniques.
