10Vill. HUDDLE PROCEDURE
A
B.
J.
Center sets huddle five (5) yards from ball and yells “Huddle”,
The Center and the Guards will stand erect with shoulders square.
The Tackles will stand erect at a 45 angle.
The X and Z will stand erect in the front line at a 90 angle.
The remaining TE, TB, and H wil! stand square in the front line with their hands on
their knees.
After QB has gotten all the information he needs, he will enter the huddle saying,
“Eyes Up". Nobody but the QB talks from here.
QB will say: Farmation--Shift/Motion -- Play — Snap Count.
Once this is done - QB will say: “Center”. This wilt release the Center, X and Z
to the LOS.
QB will then repeat the snap count and say “Ready” and all will say “Break”.
We will then bustle to LOS with a sense of urgency and get set!!!

3. Set Down 832 / 832 “Set” Rolling Snap Count Plays.

A. Audibles, CWM, Direction Call
All audibles, CWM and direction calls the ball will be snapped on “One”:

Audibles
Look Run:

Opposite Call
Uncovered Rule
QB must use 0, 1, oF 2 to change a play
ie: Down 132-132 Set Hut. The QB checked to 32 zone.
QB will call “Look Zone” in the huddle and ball will be snapped in 4
QB will use Even Numbers for zone ta right and Odd Numbers for
zone to left. (i.e. “8-88” is 32 zone) If QB wants to change the play
he may use 0-1-2 and check out. (0."2-88 Cowboy" — 34 Counter)
You do not have the direction of a play yet so your QB can use 3 - 9
to give you the direction
Be careful, do not use 0 - 1 - 2 unless you check to the exact play —
gives you the ability to check out of a look situation
QB will use any number 0-9 and protection. (i.e, 8-Brown X — Check
to Brown x)
You must use 0-1-2 to change the run called to opposite side. The
code for opposite is White". The QB can call “Left 33 Zone on 2”.
ie: Down 2 White 2 White Set Hut. The QB just checked to 32 Zone
and ball was snapped on one because this was a check.
40 yards off width, three yards.
‘Snap ball and throw - You do not have to check ta uncovered unless
you have Offensive Linemen who are pulling! QB will use term
“Smoke” to indicate an uncovered receiver. |.e. 2-smoke 2-smoke
“set-hut" tackles can cut with a smoke or uncovered check!
3Xill, OFFENSIVE NUMBERING SYSTEM
Holes are numbered through the offensive lineman. All plays ending in an even number go to
the Right, those ending in an odd number go to the Left. The holes are absolute and never
changed even if the formations flip flop.

COVER 8 GL COVER 8 GLRUN GAME -- SERIES
A. ZONE SERIES:
THIS IS A DOWNHILL, ZONE-BLOCKED RUN PLAY. The zone series allows the
center the ability to apply his block towards or away from the direction of the run called. We
can incorporate men blocking schemes in our zone series.
B. _ MISDIRECTION SERIES:
THIS IS A DOWNHILL, B OR C GAP RUN PLAY. The misdirection series may start
with a double team at the point of attack. The misdirection action in the backfield allows for
maximum movement at the point of attack. This is a super-angle play that borrows blockers
from the backside.
C. DRAW SERIES
This is a downhill, man-blocked draw play. The draw series starts with our box count
which enables us to get all potential tacklers accounted for. The RB or QB will read the
block of the 1* down lineman playside and we will incorporate a fold scheme on
backside of play with center and guard
D. OPTION SERIES:
THIS IS A DOWNHILL, OPTION FOOTBALL PLAY. The option series may start with a
double -team at the Point of Attack, not blocking the End Man on the Line of Scrimmage. With
the threat of @ Quarterback run or Quarterback pitch, this puts immediate threat on the End
Man on the Line, This series allows an offense to take advantage of unsound defensive
numbers.
E. DIVE SERIES:
THIS IS A DOWNHILL, SURGE-BLOCKED RUN PLAY. The surge series allows the
Center and the adjacent Guard to apply a surge block towards the nearest "A" Gap Defensive
Lineman. This allows for a maximum movement on the Defensive Lineman nearest the
football.
F. REVERSES
Reverses allow us to counter out top runs and take advantage of over-aggressive
pursuit by a defense this also allows us to use “speed” at the receivers position in our run
game!
