ACTIVITY NO.4:  Case Analysis About Myanmar: WHO ARE THE ROHINGYA?

INSTRUCTION: Make a short evaluation and reflection on this video in relation to our
subject.

REFLECTION:

Rohingya is a group of people that originally lived in Myanmar but,

because of their distinct identity and also the differences in religion, they become

a refugee and abandoned by their homeland. They were manipulated and

abused by the people they related by blood. This signifies that differences in

either religion, nationally, and physical attributes would most likely be the

reason for racism. Racism is a common issue that not just Rohingya are facing.

Many Asians and Black Americans also experience this kind of violence in

western countries. The Rohingya community became immigrants to the

Bangladesh government but, they don't feel welcome because of racism. We

must treat people the same as we are regardless of any differences and foster

even more equality. We are all humans, and we are all homogenous species in

this world. Thus, everyone must have equal rights and equal opportunities.

Because at the of the day, we will end the same way no matter how fortunate

you are.
