A brief history
1850- Badminton was created by British military
1870- Retired Officer brought the game to England and becomes very popular
1873- Duke of Beaufort introduced the game to his country
1874- Badminton club was stated in Folkslore
1887- J.H.E. Hart of the Bath Badminton Club standardized the rules
1899- The first badminton competition in the world held at England
1934- The International Badminton Federatio (IBF)was founded.
1948- IBF launche its first tournament
1972- Badminton became a demo sport at the Munich Olympics
1996- Mixed doubles was included in the Atlanta Olympic Games.
