BODY SCRUB

Procedure:
1. For preparation wash client feet before the body proper. Bath client in lukewarm water.
2. Apply scrubbing product on the back of client and start scrubbing the body surface.
3. Wrap client's body with a plastic or foil for about 25 mins.
4. After you completed the 45 minutes process, bath the client with lukewarm water. Check the result
according to client's desired outcome.

Post Care:
Daily bath
Skin check-up
Daily skin care (sunblock, moisturizer and appropriate maintenance product).
Advice client for regular body scrub once a month.

MANICURE

Procedure
1. Seat the client comfortably.

2. Remove old polish starting with a little finger or pinky of the left hand. Moisten cotton with
a nail polish remover and press over the nail to soften the polish. With a firm movement,
bring the cotton from the base to the tip of the nail

3. Shape nails, file the nails of the left hand, again starting from the little finger and working
toward the thumb. File the nail from the corner to the center using short quick strokes. Do
not file back and forth; file following only one direction. Never file deep into the corners to
avoid ingrown nails.

4. Soften cuticle, after filing the hands. Immerse into the finger bowl with warm water and
soap. To permit softening of the cuticle. Finish filing the nails of the right hand before
removing the left hand on the bowl.

5. Dry finger tips, holding the towel with both hands. Carefully dry the left hand including the
area between the fingers.

6. Apply cuticle remover around the cuticle area.

7. Loosen the cuticle use the spoon end of the cuticle pusher to gently loosen the cuticle, keep
the cuticle moist while working. To avoid scratching the nail plate, use the cuticle pusher in
a flat position. Clean the under edge using the cotton-tipped. Wood stick working from the
center toward each side.

8. Trim cuticle. If necessary, only nip the ragged hang nail.

9. Re-examine nails and cuticle carefully for the defects. Use fine side of an Emery board to
give the nails a smooth once over.

10. Apply lotion and massage following pulling, sliding, circular and stretching movement.

11. Apply Base Coat followed by Colored Nail Polish with a long stroke starting at the little
finger toward the thumb.

12. Remove excess polish using cotton - tipped orange wood stick. Dipped in nail polish
remover. Apply it carefully around the cuticle and nail edge.
13. Apply Top Coat using long stroke. Brush around and under tips to nail for added support
protection.

14. Apply hand lotion after the top coat is completely dry. Apply cuticle oil.

15. Apply cuticle oil around the side base of the nails and massage with thumb.
Post Care
Advice client on nail maintenance practices.
Dispose waste properly according to waste environment and safety regulations.
Sanitize and store tools and materials in accordance with salon policies and procedures.
PEDICURE
Procedure
1. Seat client and have him remove shoes. Place her feet on a clear paper towel on the footrest.

2. Wash your hands. Fill the 2 basins with enough warm water to cover the ankle. Add
antiseptic to the basin. Place both feet in the bath for 3-5 mins. Rinse in second basin and
dry.

3. Remove old nail polish. File toenails with an emery board File the toenails across, rounding
them slightly at the corners to conform to the shape of the toes. To avoid the ingrown nails,
do not file into the corners of the nails. Smooth rough edges with the side of the emery
board.

4. Apply cuticle solvent to the cuticle and under the free edge of each toenail. Loosen the
cuticle gently with a cotton-tipped orange wood stick. Keep the cuticle moist with additional
water. Do not use too much pressure. Avoid the use of metal pusher. Do not cut the cuticle.
Only nip a large, ragged hangnail. Clean both feet.

5. Apply lotion and massage each toe.

6. Wipe OFF foot to remove lotion.

7. Apply Base Coat

10. Apply cuticle oil Post Care

Post Care
Advice client on nail maintenance practices.
Dispose waste properly according to waste environment and safety regulations.
Sanitize and store tools and materials in accordance with salon policies and procedures.
Clean and sanitize work station in accordance with OS &H requirements.

FOOT SPA
Procedure
1.
Prepare
the

essential things for foot spa: Get all the essential things like footbath, foot lotion, foot scrub,
foot file, buffer or pumice stone, foot brush, hand towel. Begin the process by washing your
feet thoroughly.

2. Switch on the spa machine and soak your feet in the machine with water solution and allow
the feet to soak for about 15-20 minutes before switching off the machine.

3. [Link] the feet, using foot file and then brush.

4. Wash feet twice until water is clear.

5. Wipe the feet with towel and then apply foot scrub and scrub for 5 minutes.
6. Wash the feet and wipe with a clean towel. Apply foot lotion and massage following,
Sliding, Stretching of toes, Pressing and Circular Movement.

7. Spray foot blush

Post Care
After service advice home care products.
Disinfect and store supplies, tool, equipment and materials according to environment and
safety regulations.
Prepare and sanitize work station for the succeeding salon activities.
Dispose waste according to environment and safety regulations

HAND SPA
Procedure
1. Check the water temperature against client heat tolerance. Soak the hand with Luke warm
water and soap for about 5 minutes.

2. Dry hand and scrub the hand with appreciate hand scrubbing lotion.

3. Wash hand with water after scrubbing and warm dry hand with towel including the in
between the fingers.

4. Determine and test appreciate temperature by the client heat tolerance. Submerge hand for 4
seconds for 3 consecutive times.

5. Wrap hand with a plastic wrap and mittens for 15-20 minutes or as client’s requirements.

6. Remove wax according to manufacturer’s instructions.

7. Apply hand with softening lotion and do the basic hand massage. A hand reflex is an
advantage
Post Care
Schedule next appointment. Set up date, time, and services for your client’s next
appointment. Write the information on your business card and give it to the client.
Client is advised on after care maintenance.
Example: (If their skin is too dry more often to recommend moisturizing their hands, avoid
harsh detergents in washing hands and things)
Promote product sales. Recommend products the client may use at home like moisturizers
with Vitamin E or good for dry skin.
Clean your work area and properly dispose of all used materials according to environment
and safety regulations

BASIC FACIAL TREATMENT

PROCEDURE
1. Apply cleansing soap or facial wash to clean the face of the client. Then wipe it off with
facial tissue followed with warm moist towel let.

2. Apply cleansing scrub or facial scrub to remove the dead skin. And wipe it off with warm
moist towel.

3. Apply clarifying solution on piece of cotton and apply it on the face and neck of the client in
a upward and outward movement.

4. Put massage cream and spread it all over the face and neck and massage the face of client
for about 15-20 mins.

5. Then wipe it off with warm moist towel.

6. Steam for 5 [Link] open the pores.

7. Remove the blackheads and whiteheads using the pricking tool.

8. Apply massage cream again on the client face spreading.


9. Apply facial pack according to client requirement about 20 minutes until dries up. Remove it
with warm moist towel.

10. Apply toner to even the skin tone then astringent on piece of cotton, apply it on the face of
the client using upward and outward movement to close the pores.

11. Apply sun block if client has pimples on face apply R.A cream and advice client for
maintenance. POST CARE Do not wash the face overnight.
MAKE UP
PROCEDURE
1. Apply cleansing cream spread over the face and neck to clean the face of the client. Apply
toner moisturizer and astringent if necessary (CTM – Cleanse, Tone, Moisturize)

2. Remove a few straggly hairs by using tweezer or shaver on the same direction where the
hair grows.

3. Apply concealer to correct the impurities foundation and press powder.

4. Apply eyeshadow select color that complement the color of the eye ang clotting as well.

5. Apply eyeliner on the lash to make the eye look bigger and lashes appear thicker. Apply
eyebrow makeup. Brush the brows in place with a light feathery stroke. Apply color with a
fine pointed pencil. Brush the brows carefully.

6. Apply mascara on the upper lashes by brushing gently upward and outward on the underside
of a lashes.

7. Check color liquid cream or powder will do on sanitized applicator and blend well in
upward and outward fashion towards the temple.

8. Apply powder wind a moistened sponge or a powder brush and press lightly over the
finished make up.

9. Apply lip color. Remove the lipstick from its container by a sanitize spatula. Outline the lips
with a lip pencil followed by the lip color application. Blot the lips on the tissue for a matted
effect.
10. Check make result before the final touch.

BODY MASSAGE
Procedure
1. Hand must be clean and nail are cut to a suitable length

2. Don’t massage without taking the vital signs before and after.

3. Proper basic position is not maintained carefully pressure will not be stabilized

4. Do not massage a person who has just undergone a surgical procedure until has the doctor
pronounce completely recovered.

5. Do not massage on a fractured bone.
