Solar PV Testing & Diagnostics Guide

Visual inspection and thermography are used to inspect solar PV systems. Thermography identifies hot spots, module defects, and equipment issues by detecting abnormal temperature spikes. El-image testing identifies cracks, interruptions, and other defects in PV modules. IV curve tracing verifies module performance by measuring their current-voltage characteristics and energy conversion capability. Ultrasonic testing assesses the quality of foundations without damage by evaluating the strength of concrete piles.
