Title: Numerical investigation of vane/blade relative’s position on heat transfer characteristics in a
stationary turbine blade
Organization: NIT, Warangal
Duration: Final Year Project
Description: Now days the use of gas turbines is common in both power plant and propulsive applications.
Whose efficiency mainly depends on turbine inlet temperature and is common practice to increase inlet
temperatures. Which are far beyond the allowable metal temperatures. So study has been carried out to
investigate the effect of relative blade position w.r.t vane on heat transfer characteristics in stationary turbine
blade by using numerical methods
Title: To eliminate the root causes for the paint damages/scratches and PDI touchups
Organization: Mahindra &Mahindra Automotive Sector, Zaheerabad(A.P)
Duration: 5-May-08 to 10-Jul-08
Description: This project is about paint damages and scratches on nearly 100% O.K painted bodies starting
from buy-off stage of paint shop to till PDI stage. In a nut shell the problem leads to TOUCHUPS at PDI.
Which leads to removal of ED coat there by reducing the SST life of the body and shabby patch work
deteriorating the originality of paint finish. so through study has been carried out to identify and eliminate the
root cause of these problems.
