Article Identification:
The article relation among social media addiction,self-esteem,and
life satisfaction was written by Nazir S. Hawi and Maya Samaha
because of the excessive use of social media.

Introduction:
The study aims to examine the selective exposure of social media
addiction,self-esteem and life satisfaction in university
students.
The findings reveal that Social media sites have
their advantages and disadvantages; however, our major
concern is their negative impact on individuals especially
addiction whereby users, irrespective of their context, manifest
symptoms of behavioral addiction. As we perceive it, social
media addiction is the compulsive use of social media sites that
manifests itself in behavioral addiction symptoms. The
symptoms include salience, tolerance, conflict, withdrawal,
relapse, and mood modification.
study aims at contributing to the existing body of knowledge on
social media addiction especially that social media addicts
exhibit behavioral addiction symptoms and which is negatively
affecting their mental health including self-esteem and
wellbeing. A multitude of studies showed that technological
addictions, including addictions on the Internet and social
networking sites, had positive associations with stress, anxiety,
and depression and negative association with academic
performance, all of which negatively affects satisfaction with
life.
By utilizing online networking destinations, they share
photographs, recordings, disconnected exercises, and way of
life. This wonder set off our enthusiasm for examining the
utilization of online life destinations comparable to how clients
esteem themselves (i.e., confidence) and how they assess their
lives (i.e., fulfillment with life). In this way, the motivation
behind our examination was to check regardless of whether the
connection between addictive utilization of internet based life
and confidence exists in our example, and on the off chance
that it does, how it thinks about in quality and course to those
relations distinguished somewhere else and particularly with
regards to sexual orientation contrasts.

Summary:
The given research paper aim to examine the selective exposure
of social media addiction,self-esteem and life satisfaction on
university students. The utilization of internet based life has
risen quickly over ongoing years.
This exceptional increment in prominence has radically
influenced clients' lives, and the wonder has drawn the
consideration of analysts. Earlier examination has commonly
assessed web based life use on a solitary stage (Facebook). In
any case, internet based life measurements have shown that
there has been an emotional abatement in Facebook utilization
among 18-25-years of age, however more seasoned individuals
have begun to utilize Facebook all the more effectively. Then
again, the utilization of some other informal community stages,
for example, Snapchat, Instagram, and Twitter have expanded
significantly among youthful grown-ups.
However, there was no correlation between life satisfaction and
itisocial media use. In addition to this, the results indicated iii
that there was a strong positive relationship between self-
esteem, positive affect, and life satisfaction.
Critiques:
In the given research paper, the aurthor has very well adressed the
theme to put particular introduction that how the online
networking someone who is addicted its clients.
The strategy was totally intended to gather the information ,which
shows very stunning outcomes presentation savvy
Aurthor has demonstrated that the outcomes in elucidating
measurement of scales to check the impact.
As an analyst, I consider this exploration paper so much iformative
and benifical for other people, who study.

Conclusion:
With the nonstop development of cell phone and
tablet possession, progression of new
technologies,and considerable upgrade of
utilizations, dependence via web-based
networking media will keep on being a
significant concern. Our outcomes recommend
that, freely from culture and sexual orientation,
there exists a negative connection between
web-based social networking habit and
confidence and an interceded negative
connection between internet based life
dependence and fulfillment with life. As the
brain research behind online networking
continues making it increasingly tempting, we
expect the issue just to disturb. So future
examinations are expected to continue
researching relationship as a frail affiliation
today would get moderate with time, and a
moderate affiliation today may get solid with
time. Thusly, future examination should expand
on these outcomes not exclusively to screen
the previously mentioned affiliations yet
additionally to explore anticipation and
treatment procedures.
