distance learning method of parents who enrolled their children in the coming school
year. The modular distance learning is a response to the call for education among
students who prefer the traditional way of learning. Teachers hand over the printed
modules to the parents or guardians of students once a week. In these new
methods/ways of learning, students can't assure the quality of learning they will get
because the parents who will assist them are busy with their works. Some parents
feel unable to help their children with school work. This is where the parents decide
to hire a tutor for their children. Tutoring works exceptionally well for elementary
school students.
Tutoring programs can help your child develop study and learning skills like
improving its academic performance, helps develop critical thinking and it will
encourage intellectual independence that will help set up your child for success for

The objective of this study is to establish Tutoring Service in Bayambang,
Pangasinan. The main objective of our feasibility study is to determine whether or

business venture is worth the time, effort, resources and will benefit the

should begin with an evaluation of the entire operation.
By conducting this study, the researchers intent to seek answers to the following
questions below:

In conducting the Feasibility Study the proponents prefer Descriptive
Research design under the Quantitative approach. The researchers choose
descriptive statistics which summarize data from a sample using indexes such as the

Significance of the study
The generalization of this study would be a great contribution to the vast
knowledge in relation to the student's achievements. Vital result of this investigation
could be highly significant and beneficial especially to the following:

Scope and Delimitation of the study
This study is primarily focused on the consumer’s perception of tutorial
service. The study limits the scope of each elementary student and lives in
Bayambang, Pangasinan. The researchers aim to describe the compliance of
consumers perceptions in tutorial service based on the assumption that it has
psychological effects on the buyers’ perception.

A module can be defined as a unit, chapter, topic, or segment of instruction. It is a

of instruction.
TUTORIAL SERVICE
A tutorial is a teaching session given to one student or a small group of students. A
tutorial could be a one-on-one session in a tutoring center or elsewhere.

Elementary Educating Center is a sole proprietorship business, a tutoring
service for grade school students that is committed to making lessons engaging and
fun which in turn motivates students to learn and retain more knowledge. This
pandemic has drastically changed the education landscape and revealed old and new
challenges. With the sudden shift in our lifestyles and uncertainties surrounding the
pandemic, learning is becoming harder as well. Seeking to effectively engage the
students in this ‘new norm’ is difficult but manageable through proper assisting and
guiding them. The main goal of the business is to deliver quality tutorials and
provides services such as consultations, assessment testing test reviews and study
skills to students. It also offers a less intimidating approach to tutoring while
encouraging students to see how learning can be fun, by providing fun interactive
tutoring lessons for children. The student‐ to ‐student approach allows students to
feel comfortable. The business will be located in Bayambang and provide services to
residents located near Bayambang area. In order to know how in demand tutorial
nowadays, the proponents conduct survey on parents regarding how they are willing
to acquire tutors for their child.

50 respondents 39 of them are willing to acquire tutors. It only implies the possible
success of the business on its first phase of operation.
Tutoring can be provided either at Barangay Hall or the student’s home.
Hours will start by 8:00 am- 10:00 am. Weekend appointments are available at a
slightly higher cost. No sessions on Sundays. Appointments can either be made by
phone or on the website.

Excel Academic serves customers who generally share the following

successful academically, socially and emotionally. What sets this business apart from
that is its mission and the attention paid to individual needs of students. Elementary
Educating Center establish to help students. We take a unique and innovative
approach to tutoring that helps students connect with the subject matter they need
to master. Through personalized and focused teaching processes, our students
develop the tools they need for ongoing success in their fields of study.
The proponents came up with the idea of creating tagline that states the
business overall purpose, “Abot kayang pagtuturo, tunay na maaasahan aktibo’t
totoo”. Aside from having its own tagline, the Elementary Educating Center has also
logo to improve the exposure of the business on the global platform.

Generally, for tutorial services flat fees on a weekly or monthly basis is what
is obtainable. As a result of this, Elementary Educating Center will charge the
students flat fees on hourly basis. The proponents use the Market Penetration
Pricing. The initial price of the tutorial service is at a low price but profitable for the
tutors and in order to penetrate the target market quickly and deeply to attract a
large number of consumers quickly to gain market share.

A presence on social media is significantly important for tutoring service. It
will allow the tutoring service to immediately receive referrals from parents within
the market. The costs associated with developing a presence on Facebook, Twitter,
and other social networking platform are absolutely minimal.
The proponents create a Facebook Page for the business that will surely help
to promote the product online. As such, usage of social media platforms can
drastically boost the visibility of the tutoring service while ensuring that reviews can
be made among happy parents. In addition, the proponents will distribute flyers to
target customers. The fliers contains detailed information about the service and
contact information.

This chapter discusses the technical viability of the proposed business, the
proposed location including the plant lay-out, vicinity map and the location analysis.
Furthermore, this chapter presents the flow of the service, the availability of the
resources, equipment and facilities to be used in the actual operations of the
business.
3.1. Technical Process
Technical process discusses the materials used to provide services to its valuable
costumers. It also provides information about the service flow which defines the
process how the product and services could reach the customers.

B. Service Flow
The service flow is the guide to be followed in improving quality services to
valuable customers. On the next page, it shows the process how service of Excel
Academics will be available to the customers.
Inquiry is the first thing to do, to decide whether the customer
is willing to avail the services offered by Excel Academics. To
inquire, the customer must do the reservation by phone call or
messaging the page of the business. Excel Academic will
accommodate a minimum of 2 hours tutoring.
After inquiring, the tutors will assign one to assist the student or
customer can choose who they want to tutor their child. Clients
will send their location and the selected tutor depart to the
place.
The last part is the tutorial session where the service will take
place. And Excel Academic, will collect the payment after
tutoring.

The plant location shall be located at Amancosiling Sur, Bayambang,
Pangasinan near Amancosiling Elementary School. Since the target customers are
elementary students we would like to locate our plan location near elementary
schools. Below is the location of the said business.
D. Layout/Floor Plan
The layout is formulated to support the smooth procedure of Excel Academics. A
tutoring area is a place where all interested customers are being found.

Figure 3 shows the formulated layout of the tutoring area of Excel Academics
business. The disinfecting area will be the location where the disinfectants are
required to go first before entering the tutoring area.
CHAPTER 4
Management Aspect
Excel Academic is a general service type of business for it provides intangible
products and most likely offers professional skills, expertise, advice and others. The
business is a form of sole-proprietor and is owned by Alvin Balois, Johanna Cabael,
Janderick Devera and Jezcel Junio. The business offers a tutor as a guide to those
minor students or especially grade school that is struggling to cope up with their
overload school works. The main objective of the enterprise is to promote the
service efficiently and become well-known at wider community.
Excel Academic is owned by four students in Accountancy, Business and
Management at Bayambang National High School Senior High School. We range in
age from 17‐21 years old and ranked with in the top of our class. We’ve maintained
a good grade on our classes and one of us have an experience in tutoring. An
assignment in our Practical Research 2 classed was to conduct feasibility study. This
sparked the idea of making money doing something we enjoy. The business will
track clients by using spread sheets and sign‐in forms when meeting with students.
Each tutor is expected to maintain at least two ongoing clients. When new students
sign up there will be a rotating schedule, unless a student requests a specific tutor.
The owners perform multi-role as they are the one themselves who stand as
manager of the business. Everyone is authorized to control and make a plan for the
business. The owners are the employees themselves, so basically, no salaries but is
capable of earning an income of what the business can do and offer which is
providing a service.
CHAPTER 5
Financial Study
Financial study quantifies and expresses in peso terms, the results of the
other aspect like marketing, technical, management and the other aspects. This
study is done to determine and evaluate the projects capital requirements, possible
sources of financing including the terms and conditions, forecast of operating
revenue, costs and expenses and the effect of inflation on the financial situation and
results of operations.
The clients will be charged Php 75.00 per hour with a minimum of two hours

business that would largely contribute to the socio-economic development of the
country.
In this certain project, the researchers consider the whole part of the
business especially the social impact in the community. Tutorial service business
gives a good effect on the society and community. The business helps elementary
students learn and to gives them more knowledge. It benefits the students by
purchasing their product and in return, it helps the business because it convinces
them that the service is recommendable. The business also helps to expand the
standard of living of the community by providing employment. The business helps its
employee by giving salaries and wages.
The business also boosts economic growth by the tax that is being paid. The
tax is helpful for the economy because it is used in several aspects. The business
also benefits its customer by providing them a great tutor. Lastly, the business
provides a friendly relationship with the customer.
