The Role of the Youth in Nation Building through NSTP

Youth plays a variety of roles in the nation-building process. One of these is their ability to
reproduce, implying that they can fill the void left by their elders and work to grow and develop
further. They may generate more and more with initiative activities and make a significant
contribution to the society, and therefore the nation. Young are also required to safeguard their
culture and traditions while also acknowledging and accepting change. Growth, being the other
role, implies that the development of the country, in all the spheres like social, political and
economics, depends largely on youth and their actions.
Hence, youth are ultimately are the building blocks of the nation. The stronger the youth are the
more developed the nation is. If individuals in the past were able to overcome obstacles and
develop lasting personalities. So, let us hope for the best and promote the notion of children
serving as role models in the future.
