Dear Ma’am,
With the inevitable operation of the Department of Education to promote quality education, I am writing to
express my intention for applying in Junior High School Grade 10 for the school year 2021-2022 preferably at
Balongating National High School or any school that has vacancy.
I am GERALDINE LARA DELA PEÑA, an old applicant. I have a degree in Bachelor of Secondary
Education Major in Filipino with high ratings in major subjects. I graduated on April 8, 2017 at J.H Cerilles
State College Dumalinao ESU, Pag-asa, Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur and passed the Licensure
Examination for Teachers (LET) with 75.00% rating, which was held in Pagadian City on September 24,
2017. I have also acquired a certificates for Skills Training Program in Computer Literacy leading to
Computer Systems Servicing – NC II at the Southeast Asian Institute of Local Governance on March 16,
2018.
Believing that teachers should engage themselves in a life-long learning, I have decided to start taking my
graduate studies Master of Education Major in Filipino in J.H. Cerilles State College-Pagadian Campus on
2018 but immediately stop due to poverty. My parents can't afford anymore the daily expenses and tuition. I
would like to continue my master’s degree if given a chance.

I worked as a Local Paid at San Pablo National High School for four (4) months and a Substitute Teacher
in San Pablo National High School for two (2) months and Kumalarang National High School for two (2)
months, these relevant teaching experiences have taken me into a genuine realization of the teaching profession
and brought a desire to advance in a new level of teaching career.
I’ve been dreaming for a long time to share my knowledge about teaching again, if given a chance, I sincerely
commit myself to render the best for the improvement of the school and the community I’m assigned to.
Furthermore, I do not wish to undergo demonstration teaching, skills demonstration, and behavioral event
interview. My overall score on last ranking in Junior High School was 65.6 for D.O.7,s. 2015 and 70.95 for DO
22,s. 2016.
I hope this would merit the approval of your good office.
