Mid cycle assessment

In my opinion, Henry the eighth was a good king. According to source c, he is even willing to sacrifice his
closest comrades to expand his control and power. This shows he’s a good king because, he is shown to
have ambitious goals and is willing to do almost anything to achieve them for the sake of his subjects.

Other’s might see henry as a bad king because of his immense greediness and naivety. source c claims
that he's willing to ‘dip his hand in blood’ to achieve more power also source a claim that his immense
greed has led him to impoverish his people. This factor is a prime example of why he’s a bad king
because from the perspective of his subjects, since he has no concern for his comrades.
