nuts of the wiper arm assembly:
1. Tighten the nuts of the wiper arm assembly to a
torque of 24 ± 1 N·m (212 ± 9 lb in).
2. After a minimum of 0.5 hours to a maximum of 4
hours, tighten the nuts of the wiper arm assembly
again to a torque of 24 ± 1 N·m (212 ± 9 lb in).
Note: The minimum torque check for two nuts of
the wiper arm assembly (4) in the field is 12 N·m
(106 lb in).

hours, tighten the nut of the wiper arm assembly
again to a torque of 21 ± 1 N·m (186 ± 9 lb in).
Note: The minimum torque check for the nut of
the wiper arm assembly (13) in the field is 12 N·m
(106 lb in).

Use the following procedure for tightening the bolts
for the muffler assembly and the bracket assembly:
1. Loosen the four bolts (3).
Note: Apply 4C-4030 Thread Lock Compound to the
threads of the two bolts (2) before assembly.
2. Tighten the two bolts (2) to standard torque.
3. Tighten the wire clamp (1) to 47 ± 3 N·m
(35 ± 2 lb ft).
4. Tighten the four bolts (3) to standard torque.
