I. PHILOSOPHY:
To restore in man the lost image of His Maker through a harmonious development of the mental, physical, social and
spiritual faculties.
II. AIM AND MISSION:
Northeast Luzon Adventist College is a Christ-centered training institution that provides a well-balanced Christian
education to ensure its graduates succeed in life. The school aims to pursue higher education programs anchored on
desirable core values and unwavering faith in God.

IV. COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Trends and issues in Social Science focus on domestic and global issues concerning social and environmental. This course is a
study of peace, global and environmental issues, human rights, gender and multicultural issues of global and local context.
V. General Information
Passing of module will be at the end of the month, Students that are far from the school can get their module via LBC.
While students that are close can get their module directly from the school.
Students are required to buy their own Big Notebook, all assigned activities, quiz, and essay are designated in this
notebook.
Attendance is a must, I will be checking attendance thoroughly every Zoom meeting.
During Zoom hours, strictly follow protocols: No using of phones, No swearing, and observe silence. If you break this
protocols, points will be deducted from your final grade.

A value is a belief that something is good and, they are the guideposts of our lives, and they direct us to who we
want to be. They provide the framework with which judgment are made. If values are clear, consistent, and well-
chosen, people tend to live in a meaningful way but if a society lacks value then life in that society is confusing and
frustrating. Values can also be classified into 4 types the Economic, Behavioral, Social and Self-concern value, these
values operate in our society for better or worse. And lastly the Philippine value system, different type of value
system that are either negative or positive.
Objectives 1. Discuss the importance of the study of values;
2. Identify the different values that operate in a society; and
3. Explain the Philippine Value system.

techniques to cope up with this problems and how can this problem help you?
Take a moment to breath, we all are experiencing tough times, especially this year, Fire, deaths, Pandemic,
corruption and poverty are the only things we can see in our newsfeed and T.V. This problems have always been
present in our society, so let’s see what and how our ancestors deal with this problem.
