It was one of the most exciting and influential styles of the
20th Century, and it is one that still influences design today.
In fact, the iconic Art Deco facades that are seen dotted all
over the Mumbai city have been an integral ingredient in
the flavourful stew of RK Studio’s heritage. It’s a style that
has survived the passage of time and it is its timeless
beauty that captivated us. To celebrate the remarkable
legacy of this place, we too find Art Deco being the
centrepiece of our design. From rectangular forms
arranged in a geometric fashion and infused in the facade
to parapets, spires, or tower-like constructs embellished
with either reeding or fluting to accentuate the entrance, the
influence of Art Deco can clearly be seen adorning every
square inch of this home.
