Late Narayan Meghaji Lokhande Maharashtra Institute of Labour
Studies (LNML MILS), was established in July 1947. It is one of the first
oldest Institute in the field of labour studies in India. It was founded as
Bombay Labour Institute by the then Government of Bombay under the
guidance of Bharat Ratna Shri. Gulzarilal Nanda, the former Minister of
Labour, Mumbai.
LNML MILS is a recognized institute of Mumbai University and
has been creating industry experts in the fields of Labour Welfare,
Industrial Relations, Personnel Management and Human Resource
Development for the past 7 decades to effetively perform their duties and
responsibilities.
Initially the focus of studies was on Labour Welfare which later on
was altered into Industrial Relations and Personnel Management. Today
with the changing scenario of the industry, the Institute imparts training in
Human Resource Management as facilitator of business alongside
Labour Studies, which is the forte of the institute.

REGULATION OF CAMPUS PLACEMENT POLICY 2019-20.
n Contact the Placement Committee for Campus Recruitment.
n The Campus Recruitment date shall be scheduled as per mutual consent.
n The Students shortlisted should appear for Aptitude test or Group Discussion (if any),
followed by the Personal Interview.
n Students who are shortlisted but not confirmed by a company will be eligible to appear for other
companies for recruitment exercises.
n Once you apply for any company’s recruitment exercises, you will not be allowed to withdraw your
name.
n Once selected by one company, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for another
recruitment exercises.
n In case a candidate rejects the confirmed offer, the respective candidate will not be allowed to
appear for another recruitment exercises.
n The Campus placement may not be scheduled in the period of 4th December to 22nd
December as the students will be out for the Study Tour.
n To make any future changes in the policy, all rights are reserved with placement committee.
PRE-PLACEMENT OFFER (PPO):
n Students who have received PPO from Summer Placement are not allowed to appear for any
