of the life.
● Nutrition : A healthy food full of various useful vitamins and trace
elements, it is much easier for you to be fit and healthy all the time. A good
diet can prevent you from heart diseases provoked with the raised level of
cholesterol. Hence, nutrition plays a key role in developing oneself fully.
● Mental wellness :- If you know how to keep calm in various situations
and always go through many difficulties, you must have good mental wellness.
As only a mentally healthy person can deal with everything without stress and
depression. And the absence of these problems in your life means that your

to keep always fit and motivated to do exercises but also to be calm and well
conscious. So, in general, wellness is a state in which a person can control
everything and deal with everything while feeling completely healthy. It means
that your brain, soul, and body work together and do not argue at all.
How to Develop Your Wellness?

● Sleep well:- A good night’s sleep is a key to success in all meanings of
this word. If you sleep well, then you will feel good and have enough energy.
● Walk and exercise:- Proper physical activity is a source of health and

What is positive lifestyle:-
A positive lifestyle means a positive attitude and taking positive action. It means
focusing on solutions, not on problems. It means constantly improving yourself
and your life. ... A positive lifestyle means a positive outlook and viewpoint,
expecting the best, and striving to do the best you can.
There are various components or factors that help us to maintain a positive
lifestyle:-
1. Healthy Diet: The basics of a healthy diet are lots of vegetables and
fresh fruits whole grain foods and low-fat dairy products. Such diet is
required every day in order to maintain the adequate amount of vitamins,
nutrients, and minerals needed to maintain a healthy body.
2. Physical Activity: Physical activity or exercise is another vital
component of positive lifestyle. Regular physical exercises are needed to
maintain a healthy weight and to enhance strength and flexibility of the
body. It reduces the obesity and enhances physical fitness.
3. Stress Management: Stress management is also a significant
component of positive lifestyle. Every individual should be well aware that
emotional stress plays a major role in changing abdominal weight gain and
heart diseases. In fact, stress causes the body to release hormones i.e.,
Cortisol which is related to heart diseases. Stress can be managed properly
through meditation and relaxation techniques only.
4. Socialization: Socialization is another significant component of
positive lifestyle. An individual should develop good social relations with
his fellows and neighbors. Such relations strengthen the social bondage
among them. To be social is a very good factor in acquiring a positive
lifestyle.
5. Proper Sleep: Proper sleep is also component of healthy lifestyle. Lack
of sleep may cause exertion or fatigue. It also causes the body to release
cortisol which further leads to heart diseases.
6. Safe environment: A safe environment is also a prominent component
of positive lifestyle. The positive/ healthy lifestyle requires such a safe
environment where the harmful effects of physical, chemical, biological as
well as social and psycho-social risk factors are eliminated.
What is Body Image?
Body image refers to the thoughts, feelings, and perceptions you have
about your body appearance and shape. Body image refers to how an
individual sees their own body and how attractive they feel themselves to
be.
Body image can be negative ("body negativity") or positive ("body
positivity"). A person with a negative body image may feel self-conscious
or ashamed, and may feel that others are more attractive.
A negative body image may also lead to body dysmorphic disorder, a
mental disorder characterized by the obsessive idea that some aspect of
one's own body or appearance is severely flawed and warrants exceptional
measures to hide or fix.
Positive body image, on the other hand, consists of perceiving
one's figure clearly and correctly, celebrating and appreciating one's body,
and understanding that one's appearance does not reflect one's character or
worth.
Many factors contribute to a person's body image, including family
dynamics, mental illness, biological predispositions and environmental
causes for obesity or malnutrition, and cultural expectations.
Concept of Quality of Life:
Quality of life (QOL) is defined as 'individuals' perception of their position
in life in the context of the culture and value systems in which they live,
and in relation to their goals, expectations, standards and concerns.
The term quality of life is inherently ambiguous, as it can refer
both to the experience an individual has of his or her own life and to the
living conditions in which individuals find themselves. Hence, quality of
life is highly subjective. Whereas one person may define quality of life
according to wealth or satisfaction with life, another person may define it
in terms of capabilities. A disabled person may report a high quality of life,
whereas a healthy person who recently lost a job may report a low quality
of life. Within the arena of health care, quality of life is viewed as
multidimensional, encompassing emotional, physical, material, and social
well-being.
“The quality of our life is directly proportional to
the quality of our thoughts.”
